I'm getting my pre-ordered copy from gamestop tomorrow, can someone who got their game early tell me how is the game?
I am attempting to install it again
Thank god my roommate has more patience than me. I'll be able to copy the game files over instead of waiting 12 hours to reinstall from Origin.
ME1 Spoilers: I think my ME1 choices on my ME1>ME2>ME3 import save haven't carried over properly.. shouldn't the [sp] council be fully human? I let them die in ME1 and assigned Anderson to the council, now Udina is on and theres an Asari, Turian and Salarian with him [/sp], but the [sp] Rachni Queen [/sp] carried over.
"Hey Mel, you're...err...here."
This may sound dumb but, I really REALLY hate the russian translations, is there a way to switch the language if your game is locked on a single one?
So what you are saying is you pirated the game and it's in Russian, and you don't know how to change it. You can fix it by buying the game.
So what you are saying is you pirated the game and it's in Russian, and you don't know how to change it. You can fix it by buying the game.
I did buy it okay, its still only in russian.
I did buy it okay, its still only in russian.
If you purchased it Origin would have automatically installed the language binaries of your region.
I did buy it okay, its still only in russian.
you have to uninstall it and install your english version
I did buy it okay, its still only in russian.
If you did what people did with BF3 and get Russian codes and patch because its cheaper, you'll have to wait until someone finds a solution because the Russian ME3 only includes Russian language files IIRC. You'll probably have to download an English language pack, replace the Russian one and rename it to match.
It wont let me install any other languages other than russian. I also didnt have any choice between languages when i pre ordered the game, russian only. Kind of feels racist.
Wait, is Kaiden bi in ME3?
So what you are saying is you pirated the game and it's in Russian, and you don't know how to change it. Mainly because most of them scam you with already used keys nowadays, that's why the facepuncher that worked for one of them quit.

All these scenes with "the kid" are reminding me of Brothers in Arms
All these scenes with "the kid" are reminding me of Brothers in Arms
That scared the shit out of me. [editline]6th March 2012[/editline] BiA I mean.
Just landed on [sp]Mars[/sp]. Enjoying the game hardly. :)
So wait, let me get this straight. Ashley Williams is...a what now? [sp]I can't believe they confirmed she's a tranny, I fucked a shemale in mass effect...[/sp]
So wait, let me get this straight. Ashley Williams is...a what now? [sp]I can't believe they confirmed she's a tranny, I fucked a shemale in mass effect...[/sp]
It was a confirmed troll. Also I'd probably have [sp]saved her if it was true. This is my fetish[/sp]
Man, this game is an emotional roller coaster, and after 5 hours of trying to go to bed but to busy saving the galaxy, I will finally rest for the night. [sp]Hopefully I don't have one of those dreams with the kid from earth running around crying then getting caught on fire when I finally get to him, or at least have a fire extinguisher if I do.[/sp]
So... After 3 and a half hours of fucking with Origin, ME3, EA Customer Support, and other bullshit I finally start the game. After the opening cinematic I open my squad bit to see what level the game starts me off for achieving max level in ME2. Level fucking 30. Level goddamn 30 out of mother fucking 50. This is... I don't... What the fuck? I don't want to start 60% of the goddamn way to level 50 at the beginning of the game. I was expecting like it did in ME2 after ME1 you got like one or two levels at the beginning. But it just carried the fuck over. I just... I closed the game. I didn't know what to do. I was so depressed because of that one fucking thing. Did my game fuck up or is that SERIOUSLY what they're doing? Anyone else have similar feelings about it?
Next time, don't import a fully levelled character if all you're going to do is complain about it.
For the lucky ones already playing, what is the multi map count in the full game?
My complaint is valid and your point is not. I imported a fully levelled character from ME1 into ME2 and the game only gave me 1-3 extra levels at the start. Why the hell would importing a fully levelled character from ME2 to ME3 give me a character that's 60% leveled? Sixty fucking percent! Where is the challenge if you're given 59 skill points at the very beginning of the game?
I don't know why importing the level 30 character is such a big problem? I can understand that it may make some people mad that you're 'so powerful', but to be honest I want my first playthrough to be one where I find out what happens. If I want to start at level 1, I'll just edit my ME2 save to be level 1.

It's a problem for me at least because I feel it makes the game too easy and it gives no sense of accomplishment. It's like cheating in a game that you haven't beat yet (Not like cheating in a sandbox game to fuck around for shits and giggles). It's impossible to finish ME2 without maxing your character, or at least getting within a few levels of it. Although I'm pretty sure I was max level in ME2 before I even got to the Omega 4 relay. So you're pretty much being forced to start the game really powerful. I don't like the idea of having to use a hack to make the game harder at the start. Yeah I understand Shepard is experienced he's a badass he's fought this shit before, but where's the accomplishment? Where's the danger and trial and tribulation when you start off more than half way through the level progression? It'd be fine if there were like 120 levels. As hilarious as that would be it'd be okay to start at level 30 then. But when there's only 50? I feel kind of gypped. It's as if they reduced the level cap to 20. [editline]6th March 2012[/editline]
In ME2 you died and was rebuilt with the ability to start over, you didn't die, why would you start over, that's what why the level cap is 60, and not 30.
60? No. It's 50. But that's still crap. If you start at level 30 and the cap is 50 you have 60 percent of your levelling already done. Why can't you start at level 5 with a cap of 50 and just assume "There's more shit to learn and do in this game, Shepard's previous experience, while still defining, is not quite as all-encompassing as it was in ME2"
I personally think it's pretty fucking cool that you get to import your endgame level. No more do you magically "unlearn" all your skills.
I love when [sp] EDI tells Shepard the joke about recycling oxygen when you talk to her in her new body[/sp] His face is hilarious.
No, the level cap is 60. You might want to learn about the game next time. Also if you're finding it too easy from being powerful, change the difficulty from casual to hard.
