The thing I've liked so far in combat is that it's much more challenging and you actually have to move to do some damage. Unlike in Mass Effect 2 where you just camped behind a fucking box for the entire fighting sequences.
Indeed. Cerberus flanks like nobody's business.
No I can, assuming the joke is even remotely funny, that didn't really make any sense as a joke.
taiwan is known for it's "ladyboys" but why are we arguing it's fake anyway.
Just picked up my copy of ME3. installing now fuck yes
Is there a way to get the readiness percentage up without playing Multiplayer or the iOS thing? I really don't want to do either.
Now that's odd. Origin isn't even launching after I updated it.
Is anyone else getting a ton of stuttering?
Please can anyone tell me if using a VPN will result in getting banned from origin? I don't particularly want to lose my game :v
Use the Asian proxy. Also post your Origin ID and I'll add to the list. Is there anyway to disable vignetting? I am not a big fan of the "flashy" effects they throw in games and I find it more of an annoyance than something nice to look at.
The walking animations are really weird. theirs arms are flapping everywhere as they walk
So, my thoughts on the game so far (only 2 1/2 hours in) Cinematic presentation: Fantastic; Best in the series. Voice Acting: Again, best in the series. Combat: More challenging, more involved, more entertaining than ever. RPG Elements: Improvement over Mass Effect 1 and 2; weapon mods and level-up mechanics combine nicely. Visuals: Hit or miss, depending on area. Animations and textures can be kind of rough at times, though the lighting is improved. Easily the best optimized though; framerate on PC is silky-smooth. Now for the one bad note: Whoever decided to include this much auto-dialogue made a terrible decision. I've counted no less than 3 times where Shepard said something that I wouldn't have wanted him to say. Not a deal breaker, but I can see it getting infuriating.
Yeah it's what I hate the most, auto dialogues... Why can't they just let it be like in ME1? I really loved that.
I love this game, I like the [sp]Prothean beam rifle[/sp] [sp]Poor Kelly, should have told her to change her name[/sp]
The walking animations are really weird. theirs arms are flapping everywhere as they walk
That's another thing too. HOW, and I mean HOW THE FUCK, does BioWare do those animations so BAD when they were just fine in previous games?
..I don't know if it's just me but somehow it's going to take half an hour to install ME3 on a DISK "Have the disk? DOWNLOAD IT ANYWAYS INSTEAD OF INSTALLING FROM!!"
I hate the controls. And you have to start some quests by eavesdropping, silly.
Is anyone else getting a ton of stuttering?
Nevermind, fixed it. The game hates Crossfire apparently.
Does the PC version let you use the controller? Not sure if there was a special thing you had to do in ME2 but it wouldn't let me do it on ME2.
I made up a quick and dirty FOV fix for Mass Effect 3 for those who need it, works pretty well: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2584112
Yeah it's what I hate the most, auto dialogues... Why can't they just let it be like in ME1? I really loved that.
Indeed. Though I'm extremely pleased to see that the claims that squadmate dialogue on the Normandy being all Kasumi/Zaeed style turned out to be a bunch of BS.
Indeed. Though I'm extremely pleased to see that the claims that squadmate dialogue on the Normandy being all Kasumi/Zaeed style turned out to be a bunch of BS.
Ah, that's good to hear. What difficulty are you guys playing on?
Ah, that's good to hear. What difficulty are you guys playing on?
Hardcore.
Is anyone else surprised a little bit by James? I wasn't sure if I'd like him based on visual, but he's alright and I do use him in combat.
That's another thing too. HOW, and I mean HOW THE FUCK, does BioWare do those animations so BAD when they were just fine in previous games?
That is my only problem with this game, some of the animations are half assed or stupid. [editline]6th March 2012[/editline]
I hate the controls. And you have to start some quests by eavesdropping, silly.
Why do you hate the controls? And why is using the world around you to gather information silly?
Is anyone else surprised a little bit by James? I wasn't sure if I'd like him based on visual, but he's alright and I do use him in combat.
I'm liking him a lot. Far more endearing than his appearance would suggest.
So im doing the first mission you do(one you can actually choose, the Turian Space one) Holy shit, its so cinematic, its fucking crazy. The sound in this game is flawless.
Anyone else successfully completed Hanar Diplomat sidequest? Nothing happened when I use the terminal where the other embassies reside.
I hope they fix this face importing bug soon, because I really don't want to recreate all my long standing Shepards.
I hope they fix this face importing bug soon, because I really don't want to recreate all my long standing Shepards.
What bug? Mine worked, PC that is...
What bug? Mine worked, PC that is...
On the 360 there's a bug where the came cannot register an unaltered custom Shepard that has been transferred from ME to ME2 then to ME3. My computer sucks with next gen games, so I am not even going to try getting it there. Either I recreate my characters as best I can (fuck that) or wait for a patch (fuck that). Not sure what I'm going to do yet.
Could someone tell me how can I import my old backuped ME2 save into ME3?
