I just started playing this, were skill recharge speeds absurdly fast in the previous games?
Depends on your weapons' weight, because they affect the speed.
Yeah, Bailey's pretty cool. Only bout an hour ago did I realize he's Doc Mitchell
BAILEY IS A CYLON! EVACUATE THE CITADEL!
Well I am enjoying the game so far. I just really wish I hadn't deleted my old ME2 save. So many things would've been different in ME3.
Either way, when trying to recruit the Blue Suns, anyone else having the glitch where you can't talk to Bailey's assistant?

The chair isn't pulled out, he's just a floating shell with the idle animation doing nothing and being unable to interact with.
I've both exited the game and gone off world and done other missions but he's still like that.
Heavy spoilers on Quarians and Geth in ME3.
[sp] You need 5 points, you can get 3-5 points in ME2 and the last two points you can get in ME3. Overall you can get 7 points. In ME2, keeping Tali from getting exiled will get you 3 points, if she gets exiled you get none. When you do Legion's loyalty mission if you rewrite the Geth you will not gain the last 2 points you can get in ME2, if you blow the heretics up you will get them. In ME3 you get two missions before you have to destroy a Reaper base on Rannoch, doing both of these will get you the last two points, both are one point each. You also need a very very high paragon to persuade the Quarians to be peaceful with the Geth.[/sp]
What, no Renegade option? That's bullshit, is there some other suitably dramatic scenario where you need high renegade? Can I bully the Krogan of Tachunka to go and hug Mordin and the Salarian research team?

For what? I quoted the spoiler, and presented an impossible, humorous alternative. What have I spoilt?

Nevermind, I am stupid, rate me dumb.
Wait wait I just got the [sp]Particle Rifle[/sp]. I'm using it in the Spectre Shooting Range to get a hang for it. I love its pinpoint accuracy but something I'm not sure of.
Does it have [sp]unlimited ammo[/sp]? [sp]I'm not picking up heat sinks and I've depleted it at least 8 times and it still reloads to 100.[/sp]

[sp]Well I did it, made them stand downand consider peace. It had been so long since I played ME2 I forgot what I had done, apparently what ever I did was right. it was funny seeing a Geth Prime run up to us and talk. Poor Legion tho.[/sp]

Uh oh, due to the reaction I think this may be true.
Wrex is kind of becoming a dick now.
And goddamn I'm enjoying my ME3 Shepard compared to the past two

yeah fuck that galactic readiness bullshit, I'll be waiting for a trainer to bypass that shit
no I won't touch the multiplayer until I've finished the game twice

Its not that hard to get points, just do the side missions, also visit the citadel after every main mission
So I bought ME3 after playing the demo. I'm a pretty avid shooter/RPG fan with some of my
favourite games of all-time including Half-Life, Doom, Chrono Trigger, Paper Mario, etc.
However, I haven't played the first two so I'm currently running through ME1 as fast as I can, and then
ME2 before I start ME3.
Is soldier a shitty class? I got into a fight with some Geth before getting Liara (The boss fight cut-scene thing) and I died repeatedly before managing to beat it. It seems Wrex also dies extremely easily.
What if, Bioware WANTED people to think that their game was bad...so that when it was released, they'd like it more?
(Unrelated to ME3)
[sp]Not really but still, I love this game. Alot more than I thought I would.[/sp]

There was a renegade option there but I don't know the end result of it so I won't say it has the same result.

you can't get the amount of points required for the ending I want without playing multiplayer
you can't get the amount of points required for the ending I want without playing multiplayer
didnt bioware say that you dont need to play multiplayer to get the best ending.
ugh why bioware.
you can't get the amount of points required for the ending I want without playing multiplayer
Just be more completionist. you clearly dont singleplayer good enough.
I'm not sure how to level my Sniping Infiltrator when it comes to alliance training.
All out damage is good, but the damage boost you get from coming out of stealth is too good to pass up.
Choices are:
7.5% weapon damage or 20 carry capacity and
10% weapon damage or 20% reduced weapon weight
What should I take?
Wait is it really true that [sp]in the end it's all just a bedtime story being told to a kid by his grandfather[/sp]? Also is it true that playing MP gets you a better ending? I can't tell if these are hilarious rumors or reality.
I'm john madden
My ME3 only shipped today and won't arrive for 5-10 more days

Fave quote in ME3 so far [sp]I'm Garrus Vakarian, and this is my favorite spot on the Citadel[/sp]
didnt bioware say that you dont need to play multiplayer to get the best ending.
ugh why bioware.
It still holds true. Multiplayer can only help you, but it's completely possible to get enough points by just playing SP.
[sp]Shepard: So, how do you plan to take back Omega?
Aria: I think, I'm going to employ violence.[/sp]
I laughed harder than I should have

I gave Soldier a go for ME2 and I grew to hate the class. I needed some Biotics at my disposal. So mid-way through I edited my character to be a Vanguard. That seems to be the sweet spot for the "best of both worlds" scenario.
In regards to the endings and hopes of another ending/dlc
[sp]those hopes now appear dead http://social.bioware.com/group/5245/discussion/20097/&p=30[/sp]
K guys, what should I pick, Sentinel or Vanguard. Agree for Sentinel, Disagree for Vanguard.
Grunt is a badass.
