I also just love that [sp] Shepard flashes back to LIARA if you romanced anyone that IS NOT Kaidan or Ashley, Its Shepard's last moment before he dies and this is what you give me? Come on guys, its a 1 second video, you couldn't just record the others looking at me?[/sp]
Actually I'm pretty certain that's a glitch.
Actually I'm pretty certain that's a glitch.
It defies imagination how Bioware didn't fix it.
Actually I'm pretty certain that's a glitch.
How do you fuck up so badly as to Only have 3 flashback files (I looked, Liara, Ash and Kaidan) and than code your game to flash back to Liara if you romanced anyone that is not Liara, Ash and Kaidan. Seems like that is more than a "bug". [editline]7th March 2012[/editline]
It defies imagination how Bioware didn't fix it.
Not even imagination, they're a 1 second bik video of them looking at you. I could fix this easily, like seriously, I'll just talk to Garrus or Tali or Thane or some shit and record it. Video done. I'm willing to meet Bioware half-way on a lot of stuff in this game, but having Shepard's [sp]Last moments[/sp] be of Liara instead of my LI? Kick in the nuts.
Yeah, I don't know what it is. It feels like ME3 is a great game, but it feels like at certain moments they just kind of want to corner cut.
I haven't played it yet but I know what you mean. Small details, tiny little things that crop up, little things that get discared as nitpicking but break the flow in so many ways. Calling something good or bad is a terrible judging method, things like this are proof. Might have something to do with Bioware's idea that they are infallible, they design something and you accept it. No way of making it better or worse, they churn it out and if you don't like it, too bad, there's plenty more stuff to enjoy.

Finally bought Mass Effect 3 today. I can't believe it came out in India so early! :D
So a character like Liara gets her own DLC and everything, but Tali gets [sp]Suicide[/sp] and an Stock royalty free image for her face, while many others become one-off cameos (Not that I mind, story explains it) That's.... Kind of odd. I mean ME3 is still good so far, but I'm sorry Bioware, your pushiness of the Blue Waifu on me is not very substle.
well tali got her own two missions in me2 while liara was featured for five minutes,I think it's fair she got that DLC when the shadow broker situation needed to be dealt with anyway mass effect 2 love interests were dealt with badly I agree, but that's probably because bioware just can't handle the branching plot at all and all of them could die in me2. there's also the fact that blueberry lovemuffin is the best girl

I also don't think its really an excuse about ME2, I don't know, I'm not bioware's coder nor design team, but if they could create their own unique missions in ME3 if they're alive, they could properly design flash-backs if they were your LI.
So how is it all over so far? In terms of a Mass Effect game, and in terms of... well, a game? I'm gonna pick it up at a midnight launch in a few hours and I'm wondering how it's going for everyone who's had it so far.
there's also the fact that blueberry lovemuffin is the best girl
"girl" I think Bioware may have taken some advice, Shep is a lot more characterised rather than the blank slate dichotomy of previous games. Unfortuantely it does force you into a Character that you may not like, especially bad when the previous games were the opposite. It's not a bad thing by any means, but when the rest of the series has been like that, it would have been better to try and fix the weird Shep than force a character.
Sort of feels kind of like that, I don't feel it to that much of an extreme, but some of ME3 really felt off
The story was on the slippery-slope for me when we hit ME2; though ME2 was still a good game in its own rights. With ME3 I feel reminded of DA2 far too much in my complaints. Yet I really feel more compelled to throw a bone to the people who really did enjoy all the character in ME2. I think it's ridiculous now everyone of them has been reduced to a simple cameo when they created such diverse and interesting characters.

In other words, ME3 is great and a rollercoaster of FcUK u uP - Emotion Edition
BIOWARE QUALITY
Hey did the more than just use the same animation, they also reused Miranda's suit.
I thought you summed that up with "Bioware quality" :v:
Bioware's idea of a great scifi RPG is that you go around the galaxy either killing or fucking everything that moves everywhere. And the reapers are trying to stop you doing that before you kill them with your massive dickings
well you guys have fun posting EDI's vagina, I'll just go off and play ME3 I guess :v:

You know, I like this Jack, a lot. Hair would be better as a full mohawk but still, easily the best looking one over uncanny valley, breast implants, stock photo and tentacles.
I still find it odd that Liara never dies in any of the games and becomes the Shadow-Broker and all this jazz, while other Squad-mates, not so much. I do like the that Jack greats you when you first see her.
going by gameplay and the majority of the writing it's an excellent game by itself, and as a mass effect game it's good but flawed
as a Mass-Effect game I think its amazing, its just a big jump in how they decided to write or define things, the only flaws I find is the retarded LI flash-backs and corner cutting on Tali's face (Oh and the Save Importation gotta rebuild your face bug :v:) [editline]7th March 2012[/editline] Oh and Tali/Garrus romance is the awkwardest shit ever. Please don't ever tell me about your flings again Tali, not in a sultry voice either.
going by gameplay and the majority of the writing it's an excellent game by itself, and as a mass effect game it's good but flawed
I think that, in its own way, Mass Effect 3 is the video game equivalent of when you get Shepherd killed in ME2. You really have to question how you fucked up so bad, and it's got a real sad tint to it... but, you know, mission fucking accomplished anyways.
