I remember game news reporter (or what they are called again) in Pelit-magazine telling how the game companies influence you to write a good review about a game and rating it full points.
Must be a lot of influence, don't you think? [editline]7th March 2012[/editline] Even better, IGN gave a 9.5, even with the whole debate about Jessica Chobot and 'perfect scores because of her'
It's a incredibly large and powerful company. I'm sure money isn't a problem and we all know money buys a lot of things. And EA is raking it in.
Must be a lot of influence, don't you think?
I remember that one of the methods was basically, say, EA inviting all the reporters into a gigantic party, tanking them full of beer and snacks and other tasty things while showing bits of their game and stuff. And thus when the reporters finally leave, they would feel bad about giving bad points. Make them feel they owe the company a good review.
Wow, reapers are difficult on bronze in MP. Can't imagine gold.
I love in ME2 for the PC it doesn't let you pick who you saved on Virmire yet in ME3 it lets you. I really wanted Kaiden to show up in the beginning of ME2, not Ashley's bitch ass. [sp] I still romanced her. Although Miranda is still viable [/sp] So why can't we romance Dr. Chakwas? [sp] Not sure if she dies in ME2, still playing that. I just wanted to see if ME3 would work on my laptop before I played it [/sp]

Why can't people accept that this is a good game?
Made a video comparison between ME2 and ME3 SR2 normandy.
Got the game to unlock last night, so far the visuals have been fantastic and the gameplay is really satisfying. I have two gripes though: 1)My ME2 face didn't import successfully 2)I started the game at level 23. It almost feels like I am cheating by having so much power so early in the game.
Why can't people accept that this is a good game?
This. People still think that Bioware hasn't learned anything from the fiasco that DA2 was (even then, it was a 8.0 game). The problem with the game is not the game itself, but its surroundings (fans, press, EA and Origin and whatnot) I bought the game because I liked the series, because I wanted to see the ending of trilogy, because I wanted to. I didn't get the game to go like 'Haters gonna hate' bullshit, which is just unnecessary, I got the game so I could have fun.
Wow, reapers are difficult on bronze in MP. Can't imagine gold.
Banshee is so fucking annoying.
The Shepard VI is the best thing ever "There's nothing the galaxy can't beat if we work together." "Except the reapers of course, ever see the size of one of those things?"
I've heard a lot of fuss about the ending(s), but then I'm amongst the crowd of people who liked the ending to LOST and a lot of people were sore about that, too.
It's not really Lost ending though. It's just that the "big galaxy-changing decisions" you make in previous games don't affect what endings are accessible at all.
I remember game news reporter (or what they are called again) in Pelit-magazine telling how the game companies influence you to write a good review about a game and rating it full points.

Must be a lot of influence, don't you think? If you rate their game a bad score, they may not send you reviewer copies anymore. This means that you'll have to review the game after release, which will obviously hurt your magazine / website as others have their reviews out before and people buy those magazines / view those sites. This is what has caused the 7-10 scale of modern video game reviews. If you rate too low you can get in trouble.
Banshee is so fucking annoying.
Defo. I think the Geth are the easiest, followed by Cerberus, and then you have the Reapers which just rape everything.
Nah, Cerberus is easiest. Geth have stealth rocket launchers, and flamethrowers that can't be stasised. Same with the primes. Reapers are definitely hardest.
Defo. I think the Geth are the easiest, followed by Cerberus, and then you have the Reapers which just rape everything.
Reapers huh? That rape everything??? These things combined we get simple rapers...
Why can't people accept that this is a good game?
Because I wanted Conrad's dissertation on Dark Energy and receiving that weapon mod from the smugglers on Eden Prime to be crucial to defeating the reapers DAMN IT BIOWARE. YOU JUST HAD TO SHIT OVER YOUR GAME

Anyone else got the annoying ladder bug in Eden Prime? Squadmates can go down just fine but Shepard can't, the ladder animation is played but she didn't clamber down.
not to sound creepy but is it just me or did liara's chest get a lot bigger than it was in the previous games. it looks pretty ridiculous now. i swear it was smaller in lotsb
not to sound creepy but is it just me or did liara's chest get a lot bigger than it was in the previous games. it looks pretty ridiculous now
Yes, it's pretty stupid. Everyone got implants or steroid injections.
Yes, it's pretty stupid. Everyone got implants or steroid injections.
Which makes Mass Effect 3 the only space Jersey Shore game!
Which makes Mass Effect 3 the only space Jersey Shore game!
I don't see the tans yet
Where can I get the theme for Eve? I just finished the Shroud facility section (she [sp]died though for me[/sp]) and it's really one of the better pieces I've heard so far in ME3. I'm really liking how some decisions I've made have been good, while others bad. Personally? [sp]I'd destroy Maelon's cure again, just the sequence of events where Shepard tries to atone for past actions and there are obvious consequences personally is a lot better then "everything's going great."[/sp] Nevermind, found it:
I don't see the tans yet
Luckily we have avoided that so far
Ho Boy guys, time for Quarian/Geth Conflict

Plenty of great new tracks mixed with a TON from Mass Effect 1 to bring back that electrosynth feel.
