The game is great but it doesn't deserve a 10/10, maybe a 7.5.
The story is interesting and exciting to follow and the graphics aren't all that bad in motion but are a downside since much better can be made today. The are some major flaws here and there tough, the ones that grinds me the most is the retard walking animation for FemShep. They gave ME2 a 74/99.
Which is weird, because I see lots of EA adverts on their site. I guess even though they get paid by EA to advert their shit, they're still not biased?

I dunno about you, but the scene with the kid at the start of the game felt out of place.
That and [sp]the nightmare part of it too was kind of forced drama, not to mention that the kid's model teleported into the other place right in front of my eyes. Wut.[/sp]
Oh, and when you come to [sp]visit Kaidan/Ash after he/she got fucked in the ass by that robot, it kinda felt liked forced drama too.[/sp]
And in both situations I couldn't help but cringe at the cheesy writing.
The facial animations aren't that good either, but every BioWare I've played had rather crappy facial expressions, so that's not a surprise.
So yeah, the game does deserve 7.5.

I don't think it was out of place so much as it was lacking impact. The music and visuals worked together beautifully, but we were really never given a chance to care about the kid beyond "Hey. It's a kid. Feel bad."

Disable the music. The music is the only thing leading that scene. Without it, there are absolutely NO other sounds. (aka nothing else to lead the scene except for the graphics, which aren't that good either when compared to other modern-day games)
What is the maximum War Assets score you can get? Sitting at 6822, or 6412 because of 94% readiness.
Just wondering how much more I can squeeze out before finishing.
Just to confirm (ENDING SPOILERS) [sp] Even with a 6200+ asset rating and 100% on galaxy at war, I still only got the choice between control, destroy and synthesize, but (and I'm not sure if this was already in the equation before) after the Normandy crash when Destroying, it cuts back to Shepard and you see him start to breathe. One thing that annoys me a bit about the combat is that every single enemy seems to be afflicted with a case of "Only shoot at Shepard" syndrome. I can be halfway across the room with Garrus right up next to them, but who gets shot and killed? Me?

Which is all well and good, but man it makes for some frustrating fights. The challenge is fun though and immensely satisfying when I succeed, even if I occasionally want to make a hole in my monitor.
