Makes it easier, but you can still get the best ending without it. It acts as a multiplier.

Well, you need a minimum of 4000 (meaning 8000 with 50%) for (Ending Spoiler) [sp]Shepard to live in the Destroy ending, and only if you save Anderson. Otherwise you need 5000 for Shepard to live.[/sp]

I don't know about that really. You need a minimum of 4000 to get the "best" version of the [sp]Destroy[/sp]ending and that would require 8000 War Assets, which I don't see how it's possible. I ended up with 7200 or so (with 100% readiness) and that was with every War Asset I could find. I don't know where the other 800 was, but I just don't see how I missed anything, I got 100% of the assets from every system I could

Right, so [sp]Javik the Prothean[/sp] is a total douche. [sp]When we gathered artifacts from the Cerberus base, our shuttle pilot didn't respond and Javik said "He is likely dead." He also seems to feel entitled since he watched our civilizations grow up from cavemen[/sp]. That, and nobody looks at him any differently than they might look at Garrus. He's damn useful though, and [sp]that pulse rifle he gives you is completely overpowered[/sp].

Here's the problem: I don't own Mass Effect 2 anymore, yet I need it to get my savegame to work for Mass Effect 3, that's why I wanted to download the game via Origin :/
Just picked up my copy, installing now.
Also, the collectors edition sucks dick. The artbook is friggin' tiny, the comic is like a PS2 game manual (speaking of which, there is no manual :( ), and the lithographic print is literally a post-card.
Ingame content just aint as cool as something physical :(

Remember how I said GAME hadn't gotten any Collectors edition on PC in? Well I called them again and asked when they were going to get any, they said they wouldn't get more at all. AT ALL. So I'm stuck with a 1000 SEK game card (about 147$, the price of CE edition on PC here) and no GAME stores around here have CE for PC either.
I'm so fucking mad, I preordered this shit 8 months - 1 year ago.

GAME in sweden is pretty up to date here though, lots of new PC games in store.
Do the weapon upgrades I pick up around the world automatically upgrade all the weapons of that class? I picked up a scope of some sort for SMGs, which I assume would increase accuracy. Did it "get installed" to every SMG right away?
