[sp]I believe you have to have used the paragon/renegade interrupt.[/sp]
That damn well better not be fucking true. I'll be damned if I'm going to have an entire civilization rest on [sp]whether or not I was able to yell over Legion and Tali's pathetic fighting[/sp] [editline]8th March 2012[/editline]
[sp]Rewriting Heretics is not a "fucking mistake". You just must complete both side missions on Rannoch, but if you destroyed Heretics, you may not do those side missions and still get the option to make peace with geth and quarians.[/sp]
If it's making it harder to do this peacefully it was a mistake. [editline]8th March 2012[/editline]
You could always, you know, live with your decisions instead of trying to find an editor or trainer to put yourself into a better situation. Part of Mass Effect is making decisions and living with them, for good or ill.
No. Fuck that. I didn't make my decisions so an entire civilization could crumble. That's horse shit. There's no reason I can't [sp]take Tali's comm and yell at Gerrel to back the fuck up[/sp] just because a year ago I rewrote some heretic geth.

Just finished the game.. that was so freaking incredible! Haven't felt like this since I finished Halo 3 when it was released. No, wait.. This is infinitely times greater.. I'm in awe.
Haven't finished the game yet, but I think I'm pretty close, though i don't know if my game is bugged or not. I've encountered [sp]the illusive man on the citadel, and I'm in the progress of talking him out of his plan to rule the reapers.[/sp] I've not gained a single renegade point up until now, and the reputation meter is filled completely with paragon. Yet I'm grayed-out of the supposedly final dialogue option. Up until then, I had access to even the renegade options, despite having a grand total of 0 renegade points. [sp]Specifically, the dialogue option after Anderson states that the repears already own Illusive Man, and Illusive Man takes his gun and is about to shoot him. I've completed every side mission I've gained and the rep bar is filled with paragon. Am I not supposed to be able to talk him down?[/sp] If my game is bugged, or if I haven't somehow managed to get enough paragon points, then I'm going to try and find a trainer or something to try and up my paragon and try and fix it. Anyone know of any such thing, in case my game certainly is fucked?

So basically I would like to know also
I cheated it and gave myself the highest possible paragon and then I tried highest renegade and they still don't work. So basically I would like to know also
I'm starting to think it has something to do with the mission success (mine was 'even') and war assets, but even then i went through every single galaxy getting 100% and gathering all the war assets. I also allied eveyrbody i could, and didn't ever fail anything when it came to recruiting motherfuckers, iirc I had 4k EMS
Is Origin really nesecery for Mass Effect 3 if I'm not going to play the multiplayer?
Origin is required to install and play Mass Effect 3. If you're not going to play online, just run Origin in offline mode.

Went into my game files and gave myself 100% ready status rather than play MP, did all the side quests, gave myself 0 renegade, max paragon, and still nothing. Must be missing something...

A shitty situation that is a result of previous decisions over the course of the series is still better then a perfect outcome that came about out of cheating the game itself.

I'm going to do a run through of a renegade character, but I'm too lazy to re-collect all the war assets and get up my military strength again.

is there a way to save [sp]jacob?[/sp]

Tali and Legion were BOTH Loyal. What the hell does it matter how I got them loyal? [sp]And how does the game figure that having rewritten the heretics is BAD? Even LEGION admits it was a mistake. They should have helped Shepard not joined the Geth Collective[/sp]

GAHHH my roommate is pissing me off by owning this game without playing the first two I played the first two and had to put up with this baeutiful plot combined with all the waiting and speculating for ME3 and my roommate is just going to play ME3 right in front of me and he's not going to appreciate anything about the story at all and he's going to say stupid shit about the game and he's going to make awful decisions and he's just going to BUTTFUCK the game right in front of me. other than that he's alright I also hate how they made Ashley with let-down hair and tried to make her look "hot". She's a fucking marine and I swear to god I thought it was Miranda when I saw her in the demo
is there a way to save [sp]jacob?[/sp]
Didn't die for me. Did you do the loyalty mission in 2?

Ugh. Hanar diplomat side quest bugged, can't access even the first terminal. Hope it isn't anything important. And I sure as hell hope there aren't any other bugs like this one. Other than that, I'm absolutely loving it. Thanks to whoever said I should go with Vanguard, so much more fun than Soldier.

[sp]It determines whether the Hanar homeworld is saved or not[/sp]
So uhh, I got the CE and now I'm trying to install, but Origin won't launch after updating and my shortcuts won't work.
That side quest is important. [sp]It determines whether the Hanar homeworld is saved or not[/sp]
.. You have got to be fucking kidding me. Let's double-check: after you enable that thing, whatever it is, [sp]at the Spectre console in Embassies, the next thing you do is check the terminal in the Embassies, next to the windows to the office space?[/sp] In spoiler tags, just in case.
Try changing your reputation too?
Didn't even know ME had reputation. If it does I'll have to look into that as well. Also custom FXAA profile I setup for ME3 http://www.zilefile.com/files/18030_ntqvi/fxaaME3.rar Place the 4 files in Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32 Don't recommend using if you plan to play Online as I don't know how these kinds of mods are treated.
So, did anyone run into trouble on the mission on Tuchanka where you need to find the downed turian ship? I think my game's bugged a bit, I get to a point where there's supposed to be a huge fight and no enemies spawn, so I can't continue. It sucks, my last save before starting that mission was three and a half hours of gameplay before.
Trying to complete Mass Effect 2 in two nights. When I started tonight I was only on Horizon with no loyalties and only one dlc complete. I will do it all.

I guess I can understand the endings, but I'm really disappointed in them. [sp]I can understand the whole "One final sacrifice to save/fix everything" thing, but it has been run in to the ground since forever, and I was really disappointed that that's the direction Bioware went with. If only destroying the reapers and not fucking everything else up was an actual option, then maybe I would've found it more acceptable. I tried to play through ME2 the same way I had ME1, as a paragon maleshep, but I couldn't get over the voice actor, so i ended up going back through and playing ME1 as a complete paragon femshep, did the same for ME2, getting everyone loyal and so on, no deaths etc, romanced Garrus because he has always been a bro. Come ME3, and after all the arguable character development, you die. Even if the cliche wasn't overused, dying in the finale would have been a major let down, I would have loved to see Shep afterwards, finally being able to relax. I even promised Garrus I'd be back, which made me feel pretty terrible considering there wasn't even an option to let the cycle continue. All the endings are the same; the mass relays get destroyed, severely fucking over everyone, and you die. or become robocop.[/sp] Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way about the endings. ME2 was a step down from ME1 in many ways, and an improvement in some others, but everything about ME3 has felt okay-ish. Then the endings ruined the okay-ish. I kind of liked the music? That's about as much as I could say. Oh, and if there ever is a ME4, I hope it doesn't get screwed so much. I spent £40 for 35 hours of okay-ishness, which was let down by the endings. :(
Ok, so I am freaking out right now. I got a message from Miranda telling me to go to docking bay D24. When I went, [sp]I had to defend the citadel[/sp]. Is she gone forever now? I'm about to flip shit.
