[sp]There are two more terminals, both in the refugee dock area.[/sp]
I'll try them first then. Thanks. I'm not the biggest fan of the Hanar but [sp]I can't let them just get destroyed.[/sp]
Ok, so I am freaking out right now. I got a message from Miranda telling me to go to docking bay D24. When I went, [sp]I had to defend the citadel[/sp]. Is she gone forever now? I'm about to flip shit.
No she comes back, don't worry.
oh thank god
oh thank god
The [sp]Citadel attack[/sp] isn't triggered by that event, it was just coincidence that you happened to be heading back to the Citadel for that reason at that time. Also it's pretty awesome when she does come back.
Well, I finally finished. [sp]Godspeed Joker, wherever you are. I'm sorry.[/sp]
I cheated that also just to try it. Went into my game files and gave myself 100% ready status rather than play MP, did all the side quests, gave myself 0 renegade, max paragon, and still nothing..
what lines do you edit to max your ready status?
Is Bioware really going to let this game have 3 "shitty" endings? Judging by the reports here, they really half-assed it, or made the endings total shit/screwed up.

But I think they will make a DLC with a better ending, tbh.

Played it for 14 hours straight. My eyes hurt
Honestly I don't really care about the ending other than the stupid fucking mcguffin that they went with. But sure it's grimdark but I didn't really expect anything else, I mean, it's the fucking Reapers, if it's not grimdark you're doing something wrong. Also the fact that [sp]IT'S A FUCKING BEDTIME STORY[/sp]

At this point, I wouldn't give a shit if it was paid DLC or not, so long as there was some form of non-shit ending. I wouldn't even buy it.
So, is there anyway to get my beloved kestrel armor or Cerberus assault armor back?
is there a way to save [sp]jacob?[/sp]
I've saved him, but I don't exactly know how [editline]9th March 2012[/editline]
So, is there anyway to get my beloved kestrel armor or Cerberus assault armor back?
They can be purchased from the citadel stores

I recall someone mentioning a free reinforcement pack through a website. Can anyone confirm that?
[sp]Don't have to kill off the main character to be grimdark[/sp]
So they wanted a sad ending, can't really blame them. Honestly I would've been more mad if the ending was all happy fun times Reapers dead walk off into the sunset with friends and loved ones.
An ending I think would've been interesting, [sp]You don't defeat the Reapers outright, there is no unconditional victory, you only repel them. Civilisation survives in an odd state, decimated but more than able to defend against the Reapers, and rather than be defeated and take significant losses, the Reapers choose to retreat. The Reapers cannot build up their forces, but civilisations rise and fall, unity and vigilance cannot be maintained, at some point they will weaken and then, they will strike. Shepard wins a temporary victory, but the threat is still there. Over the generations people may forget or give up but in that moment, they will be annihilated once more. It keeps the mystique of the Reapers and the threat while still giving somewhat closure, but probably looks too much like a sequel hook.[/sp]

But these endings are, in my eyes, almost offensively bad. In my opinion, they're a gigantic "Fuck You" to the fans who busted their ass throughout the entire trilogy. And you know what? This entire problem could have been avoided if they included a single semi-happy ending. That's all they needed. I'll go into more detail on this later, once I've figured out a rewrite.

I hate to see a series end with such terrible endings.

Well.. I guess I'll just keep playing without Wrex then.. Stupid Virmire in ME1. If he survived though does he become a squadmate in ME3?
The [sp]Synthesis[/sp] ending didn't really seem that sad [sp] Yeah the mass relays were blown up but its a temporary set back with the reapers as your friends[/sp] I think they should of gone with a slide show ending kind of like New Vegas and Fallout 1 + 2 that told what all things your actions did and the future.
It's still one of the few game endings ever in any series I've ever played that made me feel anything at all.
Yeah, but if the feeling is complete disappointment mixed with betrayal and "What. The. Fuck." then I'm not sure that's a good thing.
Anyone else notice the little reference to the combat dialog in ME1 during Grissom Academy? "I will destroy you!"
Yeah, but if the feeling is complete disappointment mixed with betrayal and "What. The. Fuck." then I'm not sure that's a good thing.
I love sad endings to things, like I said, I'd've been more pissed off than this ending if it were a happy ending. That would have been the generic ending we've all seen a million times over, it doesn't make me feel anything anymore when people put a happy ending to their stories. It's just done to death, I don't feel anything when it ends happily, the first few times I see it sure, but it's just that every story ever ends happily and it's just boring now. "Oh look, shepard survived and all the people who he's come to love are alive and they're all living out their lives happily ever after, what a surprise."
[sp] Ehh, I went with Synergy anyways. Shepard dies, we all become augmented, best ending IMO. [/sp]
Damnit y'all fuckers need to stop talkin' about the feckin endings until I finish
So was i the only one who thought that Asian ninja guy was kaiden? Come on i cant be the only one that thought that. Those of you who saved kaiden since your gay then obviously not.
