I haven't played any class other than the soldier yet, but that's of course the Omni-Blade. Biotics get a nice biotic punch, I believe, and engineers overload their omni-tools with a ball of fire and punch with that.

Also, here's something else that threw me off: The demo is EXTREMELY stripped-down.
- No weapon customization
- No Codex
- No Journal
- No weapon/armor choice
- Never more than two dialogue options, and you only get to choose what Shepard says 5-6 times. He says everything else for you.
I've been racking my brain to figure out why the demo felt so off and hey, there you go. It didn't feel like Mass Effect.
Sounds like what I tried at Eurogamer. There weren't no codex or opportunity to customise anything asides from assigning skill points.

Sounds about right. The game felt FAR more like Gears of War in the ME universe than it did an actual Mass Effect game.
I have to imagine this stuff was just stripped out for the demo though.
Where are all those concept arts from? It looks like some sort of book.

Sounds exactly like the E3 demo I played at Eurogamer (just the Sur'Kesh part though).

Others on BSN are facing similar issues as well. I guess I just got lucky. A possible solution is to uninstall the app and then reinstall it. The app apparently remembers all codes that you've unlocked so they should show up upon reinstalling.
Just tried the ''view your codes'' again, got a Normandy avatar item.

It all probably is for the sake of the demo. Hell, you're probably playing a [i]slightly[i/] improved version of the E3 demo. It'll probably be a hell of a lot better in the end.

They really only fixed voice acting, model clipping and some textures. Then scrapped a lot of interesting game content like weapon modding, take a look at JeanLuc's second demo review for example.

Also this is my first time playing Mass Effect on the 360. But I did try the ME2 PS3 Demo (I wanted to check how it looked and check out that comic for new player)
