[sp]How the fuck do I save both the Quarians and the Geth? I don't want Geth to pay for what the Quarians did, and I don't want to doom the Quarians. FUCK.[/sp]
[sp]I don't think that's possible. Either geth or quarian. I'm all for geth though.
Too many people are dying in front of me. fffffffff[/sp]

[sp]You can actually save them both. I think that you need to pass a speech check or something, though.[/sp]
[sp]You can actually save them both. I think that you need to pass a speech check or something, though.[/sp]
And you need to fulfil certain conditions from Mass Effect 2.
[sp]So, I've thought about it, and Control's the best possible outcome. The main problem with these endings are that the ME Relays get destroyed, right?
Well if you're in control of the Reapers, you can just say "build some more o them mofos" and they'll do it. Then everyone can be super-happy and not stranded in space.
Even if they, for whatever reason, can't just build some more Relays, the Reapers were still able to reach the universe within half a year or so. That's a really long distance done in about a tenth the time it would normally take to reach it.
So there /is/ one ending that doesn't suck balls. But only one.[/sp]
[sp]Hah, haven't thought of that. Since good old Shepard controls the reapers now, he can just rebuild everything that was destroyed technically. I also forgot that the reapers have the best FTL technology out there.[/sp]
[sp]You can actually save them both. I think that you need to pass a speech check or something, though.[/sp]
[sp]Really? I don't remember seeing anything greyed out. Probably didn't appear. Can you confirm this?[/sp]

It was in the leaked script and at least one person has done it successfully enough to guide someone else through it.

[sp]Nice, now not everyone has to die in front of me.[/sp]

[sp]Dammit, now I have to remember it. +2 points for destroying Heretic geth, +2 for not getting Tali exiled, +1 for solving the Legion/Tali crisis in ME2 without taking sides, and there are two N7 missions in ME3 each worth +1. You need 5 with a maximum of 7 to enable the option, then a good paragon or renegade check to go through with it.[/sp]
Meeting the Prothean in Collector armor...just doesn't seem right
So I lost my ME2 save files but thought np I'll just download a similar one from the save file websites.
Now downloaded 3 put them all in the bioware/Save folder and none of them are appearing as options ingame. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?
Alright, I'm currently placed 6th in the leaderboards for my country, anybody else ranking high in theirs?

You have to make a folder with your character's name. Read about it here - http://www.masseffect2saves.com/import.php
Just got my collector's edition.
It smells factory-fresh.
wait the multiplayer has an effect on the single player? thats fucking stupid + gay
multiplayer games suck i want all story
I kinda like the idea, the multiplayer now makes sense in a way.
Though it really should only act as a helper. I did quote a dev here who said it's not needed for the best ending but I'm starting to doubt it myself.

Also I really don't regret buying the From Ashes DLC as soon as I got my copy of the game. Why in the hell is it not a part of the game? You get a fucking [sp]Prothean squadmate,[/sp] that's somewhat a big deal.
Also the gun you get is super OP. Especially when both my mates use it too, Garrus and the DLC character. Infinite ammo, yay!
I'll do a second run on ME3, when I re-install both ME's. And get different things. I don't know if [sp]Miranda is a squadmate though[/sp]
Up to the part where Ashley [sp]finally joins you[/sp] and little after that.
Anyone else disappointed hearing about Elcor ground troops, Krogans riding ancient dinosaur rhino battlemounts and things like that and not being able to see them during the final battle?
Has anyone got a N7 defender/argus rifle DLC code for Xbox360 i can buy or have? I have some things on steam to trade.
Turns out you don't get the DLC for reserving the game instore. Extremely upset about that, it said on the blockbuster site you'd get it for pre-ordering. Now i have none of the pre-order DLC at all and i can't get it from anywhere else.
Yeah, I had a shower with that Traynor chick. Properly the only imitate lesbian relationship so
far.
Also inb Joker and EDI porn. EDI has a team member is awesome.
So far, the war progress has been shit.
[sp]Oh, lol Udina got he deserved, the reapers got him, didn't kill Ashley[/sp]

That's fucking annoying. [sp]Doesn't rewriting the geth give something? It IS a paragon choice. Why would they fuck up some people playthroughs like that?[/sp]
I'm probably just slow, but how do I upgrade weapons? Can't seem to do it on a bench, and I'm seeing V level weapons in pics. Mine are all I.
e: Turns out I'm blind. Found it.
That's fucking annoying. [sp]Doesn't rewriting the geth give something? It IS a paragon choice. Why would they fuck up some people playthroughs like that?[/sp]
It's because it makes the Quarians less trustworthy of you. All the decisions that lead up to it are you pandering to the Quarians/Tali pretty much. The Geth don't care.
In my Starter pack Was a salarian engineer
That's fucking annoying. [sp]Doesn't rewriting the geth give something? It IS a paragon choice. Why would they fuck up some people playthroughs like that?[/sp]
Because not every paragon choice has good results, and not every renegade choice has good results.
This is a good thing.

I hope my choices didn't fuck my entire playthrough now...
I hope my choices didn't fuck my entire playthrough now...
Bioware needed more choices that can actually fuck you over in the next game. The [sp]Geth-Quarian conflict[/sp] is probably the only part where your choices make a big difference.
Because not every paragon choice has good results, and not every renegade choice has good results.

True, but annoying nevertheless. I don't want to doom an entire species because I didn't pick up that little information back in Mass Effect 2 or something.
So guys, I haven't checked the thread in a while but whats the verdict on ME3?
True, but annoying nevertheless. I don't want to doom an entire species because I didn't pick up that little information back in Mass Effect 2 or something.
It's still possible to get the best outcome even if you did rewrite them IIRC.

7/10, most of the singleplayer is awesome but the endings are a huge letdown and there are some issues in the SP as well. Multiplayer component is solid.
[sp]So, I've thought about it, and Control's the best possible outcome. The main problem with these endings are that the ME Relays get destroyed, right?

This is what I said.
[sp]Don't forget with control ending, the Citadel also survives.[/sp]
In my Starter pack Was a salarian engineer
Same here.
I've been thinking about the endings.
[sp]In ME1, Saren talked about synthesis of synthetics and organics and that he wanted to achieve this. He was right about a possibility of this way.
In ME2, and in ME3 too, Illusive Man had a goal to control Reapers. He was right too.
In the end, we have a choice to fuck everything up (Destroy Ending), do what Saren wanted to do (Synthesis), or do what Illusive Man wanted to do (Control).[/sp]
