I just noticed I'm having Reaper Dreadnaught themed auditory illusions. And it's amazing.
I'd be more freaked out by it. Like the Inception horn.
I'd be more freaked out by it. Like the Inception horn.
reminded me more of the machines from war of the worlds. also, (some end game/miranda spoilers) [sp] i hate how if you romanced miranda in the second game there's little to none romance in mass effect 3. You only see her in person 2 times the rest are via comm. I don't see why she couldn't have been a squadmate with you especially since tali who also can die is your squadmate it's retarded. The whole romance with her is pointless because in me3 you barely romance with her. oh and the end game pissed me off how they didn't explain shit [/sp]
...I watched [sp]Thane and Mordin die today. There was nothing I could've done. It was... horrifying.[/sp] I can't take much more of this game. I'm enjoying it, but I can't stand watching people die. If anything happens to Legion I fucking quit
-snip-
-snip-
No. No, no no no no no no no no. I will not let that happen. No, no FUCKING WAY NO. [sp]Losing Thane made me lose part of my soul. Mordin's death nearly killed me. And... well... I'm getting a feeling Miranda might not have survived. I can't take anymore.[/sp]
-snip-
Don't hint anything.
Was anyone else actually surprised [sp]when Udina tried that coup? From the dialog with him at the beginning, he actually seemed to be becoming somewhat friendly.[/sp]
I know you've snipped it now but you have no fucking idea how depressed that makes me. [sp]THERE BETTER BE SOME WAY I CAN SAVE HIM. I'm not adding another name to that wall.[/sp] [editline]9th March 2012[/editline]
Was anyone else actually surprised [sp]when Udina tried that coup? From the dialog with him at the beginning, he actually seemed to be becoming somewhat friendly.[/sp]
[sp]Capping that motherfucker released years of pent uprage. Thank you, Udina.[/sp]
So about the ending of the game, [sp]Is Joker the old man after the credits? Because I think the planet they crashed on and the one at the end are the same.[/sp]
Anyone care to detail the alternate council if you didn't save the Destiny Ascension? Are they largely the same as Tevos/Valern/Sparatus?
So about the ending of the game, [sp]Is Joker the old man after the credits? Because I think the planet they crashed on and the one at the end are the same.[/sp]
[sp]That's impossible, it is said it was a very very long time ago so the details can't be remembered, but I don't think Joker has long term memory problems. In fact, I want that ending to be on the Krogan homeworld where they sing the exploits of Sherphard. [/sp]
Well the ending was [sp]total bullshit, nice one Bioware[/sp]

Congratulations Bioware, you actually broke my little heart. [sp]Thane and Mordin. Some of my favorite crew members. I watched them die today. It was... awful. Just plain awful. Every other time there's been a risk like this in Mass Effect, I always pulled through and saved my crew, no matter the costs. But this time... there wasn't anything I could've done. They died, they slipped away, I watched them... and no matter how things went I couldn't have changed it. A+ Bioware writers, seriously. I know I've dissed parts of this game, but this is what I knew would be part of Mass Effect. Moments that are actually making me feel terrible on the inside. Congrajulations are in order. I genuinely feel like I've watched friends die today.[/sp]
Still didn't get my email..
Ever consider contacting EA about that?
[sp]So after witnessing Legion sacrifice himself for the intelligence of his kind, I've been playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr8WslV4cEw on repeat doing http://horobox.reager.org/u/Jojje_1331392292.jpg To top that off, EDI's comment on him solidifying his persona as an individual just before dying... just... goddammit. Everything he did, he did for his kind. He sacrificed his life and honor for his native land. He was a real hero. He was a true patriot. ;_;7[/sp]
No one here seems to have mentioned that saving [sp]Mordin[/sp] is possible yet. I suppose mainly because it means sacrificing [sp]Wrex[/sp], and leaving the [sp]Krogan sterile and leaderless...[/sp] Better for his sacrifice to be worthwhile.
-snip-
I was going to say it depends on your choices. At that point you're going to [sp]lose Legion or Tali (maybe both, haven't tried), but someone is going to die.[/sp]
[sp]The more I think about it the more I realize the whole Dark Energy undertones was a red herring, the entire Mass Effect series was about the struggle between organics and synthetics.[/sp]
[SP] wasn't the dark energy shit meant as the ending originally, with the reapers p much harvesting folks so they could add more species to their think tank so they could figure how to stop all stars from dying? endings were let the reapers do their thing or convince them that the races of this cycle have a chance of figuring it out. would at least make more sense than "we synthetics kill organics so they don't create synthetics that would kill organics" but then again Drew left bioware so maybe they didn't want to keep his original path.[/SP]
I was going to say it depends on your choices. At that point you're going to [sp]lose Legion or Tali (maybe both, haven't tried), but someone is going to die.[/sp]
Well that's a NO brainer. [sp]I've lost too many friends in this war. I don't give half a fuck about Tali.[/sp]
More spoilers.
Yeah, and saying that can still be considered a spoiler to some people.
Can you honestly tell me that [sp]It's fair to Sacrifice Wrex over Mordin?[/sp] It's a no-win scenario... but one is only one death... the other is countless more.
Since [sp]the first Reaper was some nation that had that Philosophy of Synth = Destruction, maybe the Crucible was also built by them to work with the Citadel so that the race/s that built them Crucible succesfully and got someone into the Catalyst would be a worthy race that could even stop the possible Synth destruction.[/sp] Then again, Bioware writers aren't smart enough to be that deep. [sp]That's a joke in itself: Bioware wouldn't be smart enough to come up with something like that, too complex, too many variables.[/sp]
Can you honestly tell me that [sp]It's fair to Sacrifice Wrex over Mordin?[/sp] It's a no-win scenario... but one is only one death... the other is countless more.
Exactly. I was tempted to [sp]sabotage the genophage for the extra Salarian support, but seeing the Ancients and Eve...I just couldn't. They deserve a chance.[/sp]
Just beat the game today. Liara better be carrying my mutant blue children.
Exactly. I was tempted to [sp]sabotage the genophage for the extra Salarian support, but seeing the Ancients and Eve...I just couldn't. They deserve a chance.[/sp]
FUCK the [sp]Salarian dahlatess. What a jerk. Really? Sterilize the Krogan again? Also, aside from my own emotions, who would you rather have on your team? A Race of barbaric dinosaurs, or some skinny frog aliens? This is another nobrainer.[/sp]
Siding with [sp]the Dalatress[/sp] gets you the most possible assets.
But you have to alienate characters you love. How lame.
