when i got up to the Salarian STG facility i had hopes of seeing Mordin again and seeing all the wonderful things that could happen in the save game unfortunatly i haven't played Mass Effect 2 in a year and it didn't specify who died so who do i get? [img_thumb]http://www.wickes.co.uk/content/ebiz/wickes/invt/214284/High-Performance-Mould-Protect-Paint_large.jpg[/img_thumb] painting a better tommorrow for the Krogan
Just ended the game, i feel that the ending i chose was.. i feel that i'm missing out on something. I want to know how the rest of my team made it, like a few month after the ending. I wouldn't call the ending i chose a good closure to the series.
[SP] wasn't the dark energy shit meant as the ending originally, with the reapers p much harvesting folks so they could add more species to their think tank so they could figure how to stop all stars from dying? endings were let the reapers do their thing or convince them that the races of this cycle have a chance of figuring it out. would at least make more sense than "we synthetics kill organics so they don't create synthetics that would kill organics" but then again Drew left bioware so maybe they didn't want to keep his original path.[/SP]
[sp]They seemed to present a few possible main themes for the series in ME1, and based on dialogue in ME2 it seemed like Drew wanted it to go the Dark Energy route. Still, reminiscing on what could have been won't change what we have now, and the whole organic-synthetic relationship is fine as-is.[/sp] Actually, [sp]now that you mention the organic-synthetic relationship, didn't Catalyst say that it created the first organics or somesuch? That's where I got the whole thing about divinity.[/sp] [editline]9th March 2012[/editline]
[sp]As I said before ME3 came out, I'm sure there would be plenty of finer points that we could argue about what they meant and all that stuff people do for literature but really that stuff probably went straight over Bioware's head and they just did whatever. The Symbolism probably has no depth and it's a matter of what you interpret and read into it.[/sp] You know, like they made you do with books in high-school. Everything has a deeper meaning, doesn't this small choice of words change everything?
It's a real shame considering [sp]the unintended symbolism is one of the only things going for the ending.[/sp]

I hate when idiots don't go to the extraction point at the end of the round. How stupid do you have to be to not follow a simple direction?
[sp]http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af134/gnosblax/yodawgme.jpg[/sp]
If you think about it from the perspective of an [sp]immortal god-machine[/sp] you're not really [sp]doing anything that bad.[/sp] [sp]There's 49.9k years of civilization thriving and advancing, with .1k years of harvesting the race into another immortal god-machine shell.[/sp]
[sp]http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af134/gnosblax/yodawgme.jpg[/sp]
GENIUS! WE HAVE GENIUS!
So do you get [sp]The Normandy crash landing on that planet[/sp] no matter what ending you choose?
Also, I really couldn't careless about the ending symbolism. I just want to know what happens with the characters you have played with for over 150 hours through the entire Mass Effect Saga. They all had plans for the future, they all shared it with you, but with the new world, how do these plans turn out? [editline]9th March 2012[/editline]
So do you get [sp]The Normandy crash landing on that planet[/sp] no matter what ending you choose?
Yeap.
Actually, [sp]now that you mention the organic-synthetic relationship, didn't Catalyst say that it created the first organics or somesuch? That's where I got the whole thing about divinity.[/sp]
Well I can't remember that part, but if you're right that's fucking stupid and out-of-place
So do you get [sp]The Normandy crash landing on that planet[/sp] no matter what ending you choose?
[sp]Apparently, if you have a low enough readiness rating, Joker and the others won't survive the crash.[/sp]
Well I can't remember that part, but if you're right that's fucking stupid and out-of-place
Welcome to Mac Walters quality story writing.
And can you prevent [sp]Anderson from dying after the confrontation with TIM, or is that supposed to happen?[/sp]
[sp]Apparently, if you have a low enough readiness rating, Joker and the others won't survive the crash.[/sp]
Its true I did an edit and removed my readiness. [sp]The normandy crashes, door opens, credits roll[/sp]
Just got my copy but the ME2 Save Editor site is down so I can't import my ME1 face fuck
Its true I did an edit and removed my readiness. [sp]The normandy crashes, door opens, credits roll[/sp]
How do you do this edit?
I decided to make my own ending: [sp]After Shepard is given his three choices by the Child/God/AI, he struggles to pick is torn body off the ground, looks at the Child, and says: "I should go." Suddenly, his wounds heal and the Normandy flies in and picks him up. The Reapers, inspired by this, also deiced to "go" and are never seen again. Shepard and all his squad members, including Mordin, Thane, and Legion who didn't really die after all, fly off to fight evil wherever they are needed. [/sp]
Here's something my friend asked me to spread around SPOILERS http://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/qor8h/if_you_think_about_it_there_is_a_lot_more_hope_to/?sort=hot GODDAMN SPOILERS MAN
[sp]"Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong." It doesn't get any easier the second time around.[/sp]
Fuck I want a trainer for money. I want the cool looking shit.
Well I just finished the game and im terribly disappointed in the ending I got. I did EVERYTHING I could, but I just didnt have the time to play multiplayer. [sp]got the ending where they crashland but survive[/sp] I just wanted a generic happy ending so I can comfortably go to sleep today, not this :(
How do you do this edit?
At this point I haven't posted how because its game breaking. Im searching through the files trying to find some basic way of doing it, otherwise you need to make a lot of backups or else your game is permanently broke. If I find a better way I'll post it, until then its not worth it.
Fuck I want a trainer for money. I want the cool looking shit.
Why get a trainer when this works? http://facepunch.com/threads/1160336?p=35067402&viewfull=1#post35067402
Nevermind I just gave myself 675 million with cheat engine. Now I can play like I usually do.
Well near the final missions, better go Multiplayer farming now for the best ending that won't fuck me over

"I only forget to recycle the Normandy's air when I find something truly interesting." Shepard's face was priceless.
Oh wow this is a new level of bad for Buckley.
I'm so going to fuck the reporter and the communication chick, but I'm disappointed at the lack of Legion.
Nevermind I just gave myself 675 million with cheat engine. Now I can play like I usually do.
How... Did you have a money issue? By the last third of the game you should have like 400k+ in the bank.
How... Did you have a money issue? By the last third of the game you should have like 400k+ in the bank.
I just got on the normandy. Saw inferno armor. Was some few thousands low because I bought roses, chocolate and a poem since I thought I could give it to Ashley to get laid. :suicide: There ain't no rest for the gear-fetishists.
