How... Did you have a money issue? By the last third of the game you should have like 400k+ in the bank.
Well, I did buy the 275 000 credits sniper. Then upgraded it fully.
Still totally worth it, one shot headshot every enemy in the game, and 3 balls per clip to work with.
[sp]honestly, i think it's presented to appear that shepard dies before picking what to do with the crucible[/sp]
[sp]honestly, i think it's presented to appear that shepard dies before picking what to do with the crucible[/sp]
Nope.
I kind of wish there was one ending that [sp]Just has Shepard and co. defeat the Reapers, no strings attached. Sentient life proving they can once and for all break out of an ancient cycle of genocide and for once finally draw their own destiny instead of being subtly guided (i.e the Citadel being made to ensure sentient life makes it a foothold in space.
There wouldn't be any sort of need to shoehorn a tragedy in to make things more dark like some of the official endings do, there's already the fact that thousands of millions of people were killed during the invasion, and that the galaxy is still going to be in a state of turmoil even after the reapers are gone. (Including the Batarians having lost their homeworld and a good chunk of their population, the possibility of remnants of Reaper forces still alive etc. but that would probably be seen as a sequel hook.)[/sp]

Yeah I hated that [sp]destroying the Reapers also destroyed all Mass Relays.[/sp]

That would only make sense if nothing happened with the Crucible and the cycle continued as normal.
Just read this post, its supposedly from a guide to the game
Straight from the Collector's Edition from the guide (I will type this nearly word for word, credit goes to Prima Games):
[sp]
EDIT: The game assumes if you do not import a save then you DESTROYED the Collector's Base
If you saved the Collector's Base in Mass Effect 2, then:
If your Readiness Rating (War Assets multiplied by Galactic Readiness, will be called EMS from here on out) is below 1750, Earth is destroyed regardless of your final choice.
If your EMS is 1751-2049, if you choose to destroy the Reapers, Earth is also destroyed.
If your EMS is 2050-2349, if you choose to control the Reapers, Earth is saved.
If your EMS is 2350- 2649, if you choose to destroy the Reapers, Earth is devastated but still saved.
If your EMS is 2650-2799, you unlock the third (Synergy) ending.
If your EMS is 4000-4999, if you choose to destroy the Reapers and "saved" Anderson, Shepard lives.
If your EMS is 5000+, if you choose to destroy the Reapers and did not "save" Anderson, Shepard lives.
Saving Anderson means not letting the Illusive Man kill him outright.
If you did not save the Collector's Base in Mass Effect 2:
If your Readiness Rating (War Assets multiplied by Galactic Readiness, will be called EMS from here on out) is below 1750, Earth is destroyed regardless of your final choice.
If your EMS is 1751-1899, if you choose to control the Reapers, Earth is also destroyed.
If your EMS is 1900-2349, if you choose to control the Reapers, Earth is saved but devastated.
If your EMS is 2350- 2649, if you choose to control the Reapers, Earth is saved.

Proof that I have the guide (hope you all can read it):

Hope this helps everyone. The guide also confirms there is a special gift from Liara if you buy the Prejek Paddlefish in Mass Effect 2, and it survives through Mass Effect 2, to Mass Effect 3, and through a Mass Effect 3 NG+. Good luck! (feed your fish).[/sp]
You know, ending spoiler again [sp]I would be half as pissed as I am right now if the Mass Relays weren't destroyed in the process. At least the Mass Effect universe wouldn't be completely raped [/sp]

[sp]I just realized this is gonna screw up every ME RP Site out there if it ends up being considered as the canon ending.
Including the Cerberus Daily News one that was linked earlier in the thread that everyone liked.[/sp]

[sp]Well, think about it. The Reapers crossed from dark space over to Earth within the space of half a year. That's a REALLY fucking long distance to go, even faster than any ships that exist within that time-frame. So, all you need to do at this point is find a dead Reaper, analyze its technology (whilst somehow avoiding being indoctrinated), and there you go - things are half-way back to normal.
Alternatively, just exert your Space-Jesus powers onto the fuckers and control them. Then all you need to say is "build some more relays bitches" and you're basically the God Emperor of Mankind from then on out.[/sp]

So, this means you DO need the fucking multiplayer to unlock the "best" endings. What bullshit this is. [sp]Also, it seems you can only live in the Renegade ending.[/sp]

[sp]If Shephard is space jesus at the end, why did he made the reapers leave Earth immediately? Couldn't we have seen what he was going to do with the Reapers? We don't even know if he actually control them or he just stops them from being mean for now. Plus, the Mass Relays probably needed extreme resources, plus the fact that most ships were disabled due to the large energy explosion. The control ending doesn't solve much because we don't even see the extent of control Shephard has. Plus, the Reapers WOULD have to travel across the entire galaxy several time to build the Mass Relays, which could take centuries. During that time, lots of species are either stranded in space or crash landed on Earth. [/sp]
[sp] With so many ships and so much effort put into building a fleet, why wasn't there an ending where the Alliance didn't even need the Crucible?
Honestly I feel the ending should of gone like this:
Alliance Fleet beats the Reapers, Shepard tells the God Child that it is wrong, Epilogues for every character and a final symbolic scene with Shepard looking suitably heroic.
Its like everything in the series you did was a waste, all the endings are dumb and very poorly executed. In fact, the whole Super Weapon bullshit was so cliché it shouldn't have been put in.
And the Tali photoshop job is by far the laziest and most disgusting thing I have seen a top quality developer pull.[/sp]
How do I make reaper alertness go down? Their bwong noises scare the fuck outta me

[sp]Well yeah, but it's not like you get the opportunity to say that you will be able to travel several times faster than light within a few centuries.
And the resources aren't even that much of a problem when you've got lots of little Reaper ships running around the galaxy, peeling uninhabited planets clean of minerals in the most brutally efficient manner possible. You would get enough things eventually.
Whichever way you cut it, the universe has been bettered infinitely more than in any of the other endings. The Mass Relays have potential to exist again, the Reapers have either fucked right off or are actually HELPING now, it's not impossible at this point to get some of the Reapers' incredibly valuable technology and at the least Shepard is in a position that one would call "control".[/sp]

I did every side quest and all the main quests and still in the end I only had a little over 3800. Not sure if I missed anything but I also spent a few hours scanning all the systems I could and still couldn't get higher than that.

Do a mission, any, where you get out of your ship and shoot things.
How do I make reaper alertness go down? Their bwong noises scare the fuck outta me
Complete a Priority or N7 mission, and the reapers will clear out. If you're fast enough you can scan and get stuff from the system even while they're chasing you.

[sp]I didn't read anything in the codex about it, but didn't the Alliance and Turians have Thanix Cannons? I didn't see any of them used during the battle, not even the Normandy used it. I would imagine they could do some damage to a Reaper. Instead they all used the conventional guns. I guess I'll go read the codex and see if it says anything about them.[/sp]

Who did you side with in each ally decision?
Sweet! Too bad I own them all.
Well if you wouldn't mind, could i get the promo code, haven't played me1 and been having to use the save editor and half the time that never works.
I romanced Liara in the first game and stayed true to her in the second, completed the Shadow Broker DLC and all that. Now when I go to visit her in between missions, all she says is "Good to see you again" or "Thanks for coming by." Is there any more dialogue or moments between the two?

Probably later on. I've heard Liara's romance was bugged though.

You could give me that code. :(
Wow, Protheans were dicks.
Who did you side with in each ally decision?
What do you mean? I did a pretty much straight paragon play through if that means anything. Well besides [sp]killing the general when I needed to get Aria's support[/sp]
I also had every ME1 and ME2 DLC and had every character from ME2 still alive. Those characters [sp] were in ME3 and gave war asset bonuses[/sp]

Also, how appropriate. I just found a Volus Dreadnought War Asset. It is described as being armed completely with Thanix Cannons.

It doesn't matter. No matter what you do you can't get the 8000 to get 4000 at 50% readiness.

[sp]What did you do for the Geth-Quarian decision? That right there gives like 1k readiness if you get both on your side.[/sp]
Wow, Protheans were dicks.
I always imagined them as an enlightened race of scientists, explorers and artists or something, not imperialist brutes.
