[sp] Get over 5000 and do the destroy ending and Shepard survives. I just can't see how he/she would get off the Citadel now that all tech has been destroyed[/sp]
Thats the only way they could continue, unless they made another ending...
What exactly is there to do after the ending? The threat is gone, do you just chill out in space and scan planets?
What exactly is there to do after the ending? The threat is gone, do you just chill out in space and scan planets?
Seeing how fast you run out of fuel, and seeing the Normandy is out of business....
I got a question about a decision in the game; I was watching a video concerning the [sp]Quarian Genocide[/sp] and noticed that the paragon/renegade options weren't greyed out, but completely missing.
When I was [sp]confronting The Illusive Man[/sp] I had access to the first three or so paragon/renegade, but at the moment of truth both were not mission, but greyed out. Does this mean I had enough points to choose them, but I just chose the incorrect things to say in the conversation?

[sp]No, there is no playing after the main story. It drops you back before the Cerberus base and says "WAIT FOR DLC".[/sp]
seriously I can't describe the reapers without making them sound retarded

Arl Foreshadow from Dragon Age might as well turn up with a datapad containing a 42-week DLC plan.

If you don't have enough of the "points" from ME2 and ME3 [sp]You don't get a paragon/renegade choice in the Quarian/Geth conflict. And you need max paragon/renegade/reputation to get the final Illusive Man paragon/renegade choice.[/sp]

Immortal God-Machines forged in the likeness of some abyssal sea monster?

Just send her the video of Sovereign. Don't mention Mass Effect 3.

False. The final decision is affected by Full Paragon/Renegade AND ASSETS. Over 4000, I think.
Oh god.
You know what's just fucking awful?
Trying to explain what a "Reaper" is to a friend of mine.
She... she just wouldn't stop asking. I told her I couldn't explain them in a way that would make them sound cool.

Sentient living spaceships hell-bent on the complete and total annihilation of any and all sentient life who are capable of space travel and/or have the possibility to pose as a threat. They live outside of the galaxy, between galaxies in the dark void waiting 50,000 years to begin their mass genocide, which can only be described as some kind of ritual the species performs perhaps out of boredom. Face it, if they didn't want anyone to fight, they'd stay on all the planets they conquer and never allow a single creature to evolve.
And yes, this is how I'd describe the Reapers to an outsider.
[sp]He has yellow lights and shoots faster than a normal Reaper. That's about it.[/sp]
Also, can I mention how bad the "running and tripping" animation was for that part?
dear GOD that part was so bad!
It ended up for me being:

Don't mention the fact they exist because they have to stop organics from destroying themselves. :downs:

EA you fuckers. Why not create a fulfilling end to your amazingly successful franchise instead of just saying "Sure, we can make this game perfect, for $15 more."
They really should have made Javik free. The more and more I have him in my squad, as well as talking to him regularly, the more and more I feel bad for people who don't have the DLC.[sp]The Athame part on Thessia was fucking awesome. Does that scene even play out similarly with a different squad member? Does Liara go to his quarters after the mission? Does Liara even learn the Asari's history was a lie?[/sp]

They don't have to stop anyone from destroying anything. The Reapers don't give a shit about anyone else, what do they care if a civilization kills itself off?
Edit:
Remember, the Reapers allow civilizations to advance to their "apex" before they are destroyed.

Unfortunately not, but I found Liara's [sp]dialogue about how Thessia is being glassed[/sp] morbidly hilarious.
Garrus about Palaven? Yeah he's upset. Shepard, Ashley and Vega? They're angry. Liara? "[sp]Oh my god a Reaper just landed there this is so awful why is this happening to us my world is coming to an end.[/sp]"
It's like four thousand years of blind arrogance is ripped from their eyes in seconds, only to be replaced by the destruction of everything.
I might get a disagree from this, but [sp]the Catalyst ending would've still been perfect if they at least provided some closure following your decision.[/sp]
I really want, at least, something like this for all the decisions you made.

I played the mission through with Kaidan, up until the temple. Once I saw what the artefacts were, I reloaded and played through with Javik instead. SO much new dialogue. I'm pretty sure taking him to Thessia is the only way to get the Liara/Javik conflict on the Normandy...

I really wanted to tell her to shut the fuck up. I mean, you're the last species to get nuked, and this is how you react? Mind the other species too lady, the Batarians are completely extinct.

Nah, I went through it with Garrus/Liara and she still confronted him about it.

It would've been fine if they even at least gave us this, but nope, gotta milk the cash cow.

Well the way she was reacting to everything at the beginning of the game, she doesn't even really believe they could win. She asks Shepard multiple times if he/she thinks the Reapers can be stopped. [sp]And then seeing her home planet get destroyed kind of reinforced that.[/sp]
Also I looked over the other endings to ME3, and [sp]I'm still finding the way Shepard dies in the "Control" Ending the best. I mean the way he's just struggling through immense pain while he's disintegrating to hold on, while images of his friends and allies flash before his eyes was really powerful to me, in conjunction with the music.[/sp]
God fucking damn it, it is about time. I finally finished my most recent run through of ME1. This job I got recently has absolutely murdered my free time, it took 2 weeks for me to get from Virmire to the end of the game. Looks like my ME3 copy is going to be sitting for a while until I complete ME2.

I brought Tali and Liara and Javik fought.

Make little blue babies with Liara.
Make little blue babies with Liara.
You're [sp]technically able to do that even if you aren't in a romance with Liara. All you have to do is talk to her while in London and before Anderson.[/sp]
Just beat it.
Fuck you EA/Bioware.
Fuck you all.
[sp]Ending could have honestly been 800 times better if they had replaced the kid with Harbinger. Still would have been incredibly shitty, but not so shitty that I'd request a refund like I am right now. So fucking disappointed.[/sp]
So I noticed something I found hilarious:
[sp]If you go recruit Javik before doing any other missions, then go to Palaven, you CANNOT TAKE JAVIK TO PALAVEN. To me, this implies that Javik was never meant to be part of the original game, and someone came up with the idea to have him close to release day. Or perhaps he wasn't meant to be day 1 DLC but they moved it up in a bid to grab money and didn't have time to program him into the Palaven mission.
Fuck you greedy fucks.[/sp]

Or he wasn't meant to be there because it was the first mission and Bioware didn't expect anyone to go out recruiting before doing anything.
