How important is the galactic readiness % thing? Because I can't play multiplayer, I just tried and it would seem everyone left or something midloading and the game never started, and its just too much of a hassle to play it. Anyway, is it really important?
You'll need it if you want the absolute best ending, otherwise, you just need the most effective assets possible. Try to get over 2800.
I fucking hate banshees
Hardest enemies in the game. I mean, I was using the claymore shotgun, and these things are so fucking thin they can withstand 3 shots from the god damn thing. And I 2 shot most big enemies with it. Plus, I have to make sure all of my squad shoot at them. Definitively the hardest enemy in ME3.
[sp] When you are in London and stuck on the roof waiting for an evac, if you chose Morinth over Samara in ME2, Morinth shows up as a banshee[/sp]
Can you fuck her this time?
So when do I get to have hot, sticky, antibiotic laden sex with Tali again? Love dem Quarian hips. :v:
No need for antibiotic this time soldier, you're into familiar grounds.

2.8k total or effective?
Can you fuck her this time?
She was a succubus even when she wasn't a Reaper man, this is written bad idea all over it.

But...[sp]I'm about to enact the fight against the illusive man, and my effective is only 1.8k, what did I do wrong? I suppose I might have done a lot wrong...what more can I do?[/sp]

Ouch. Well, finish the game, take your ending, then a save will bring you back before the point of no return. Then do all the sidequests. Otherwise, I'd say you fucked up really hard in the storyline areas.
Of course, if you haven't attacked the cerberus base, do the side missions first.

They always kill my squad instantly and then I'm left running around with nothing to distract them. They were a pain during the last fight in London.

[sp]But who else could I have possibly gotten? What else could constitute 1000 thingies?[/sp]

That's all fine and dandy for Shepard but what about Tali? MY Shep isn't into Necrophilia. Dunno about yours.

That's exactly what I meant. Actually, that's Tali who says that, and not Shephard.

Have you done the journalist reports with Danna something? She sometimes give 100 bonus effective assets.
Otherwise, story-wise, you must've messed up pretty bad. What happened during the Quarian-Geth Recruitment? The Turian Recruitment?

[sp]turns out I shouldn't have killed the quarians because i woulda gotten both of them anyway :downs:, time to go back 3 hours, I've done enough for one day.[/sp]
So when is the Point of No Return anyway? Is it the [sp]Cerberus Base? I just finished on Thessia and they added the Cerberus base as a priority.[/sp]

Kind of. [sp]After the base you can still move around the galaxy but the citadel is moved to the Sol system so you can't finish any existing fetch quests or go back for other reasons[/sp]
Man, I never beat ME2. I should go do that, never flew through the Omega 4 Relay.
Well, I guess it had to end eventually.
I had hoped that this game would be the exception to the "third game has shittiest ending" rule, but alas...
The curse of the Three-quel lives on.
Fuck I am so fucking disappointed I cannot unsee that ending all that work whyyyyyyyy

Yeah, it's rare I wish to unsee endings, but Mass Effect 3 counts as one of the worst and most disappointing ending I've ever seen in my time.

I could disagree, at least this ending is conclusive. You've made it out alive and all is well.
To be more serious, this is a super nintendo game. We're in 2012, endings like the one we've got is seriously very low quality compared to what we had back in Mass Effect 1 (m4 by Faunts during the credits is an instant win) and Mass Effect 2 (Closure to the dead characters, sequel bait, and you can play after the game is finished and get some more closure on the characters.)
Yeah, it's rare I wish to unsee endings, but Mass Effect 3 counts as one of the worst and most disappointing ending I've ever seen in my time.
I don't think I'm the only one in saying that it's not only ruined the game but the series as a whole for me. I don't see how I'm going to play any other Mass Effect game knowing that this is how it will all end.
I loved ME2's ending where you see all the Reapers approaching the galaxy.
YEAH
[sp]Just used the renegade interrupt after you defeat KL. "That was for Thane, you son of a bitch."[/sp]

[sp]yay, my game is fucked up because i couldn't load an ME2 save, that's so great, oh well, I'll just get my readiness to 100% and maybe then I'll win[/sp]

Well, I can still see myself playing Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. I loved the story of both, plus they have good endings.
The problem is not lying in the past for me, but in the future. I've grown to fucking love the mass effect universe, and then we're thrown this ending that breaks any chances to see the future of Mass Effect 3, and renders Mass Effect 2 useless.
Shorter : I still love and will play Mass Effect 1 and 2. Mass Effect 3... not for sure. They have to fix the ending before I do any other playthrough of the game.

God, this game was SO FUCKING CLOSE to being well done. The writing was great for everyone, Jack, Garrus, Tali, Wrex, Liara, Joker, Cortez, Kaiden, even James. The moments with your squad on the citadel are amazing, I'm just so confused on where they were trying to take the series.
IDK why but I have a huge fucking feeling that EA stuck there noses in this.

Give Mass effect 3 the ending it deserved, and I would've loved it completely.
Seriously, as I posted Earlier, the Gears of War ending is extremely similar to Mass Effect 3's plot, yet, the ending is enjoyable.
I haven't beat Mass Effect 3 yet, but what I've heard the ending sucked so bad. Is this true?

As true as the Reapers are.
