I haven't beat Mass Effect 3 yet, but what I've heard the ending sucked so bad. Is this true?
Unfortunately, yes.
I haven't beat Mass Effect 3 yet, but what I've heard the ending sucked so bad. Is this true?
It's quite true, yes. Still doesn't change that the rest of the game was fantastic. And it had such great potential, too. If only they'd have made the ending better.
Hmm, an elcor asked me to save his people on his home planet, but I can't seem to find it, where to search? Reapers attack alien homeworlds, aliens ask Shepard to save them, how is this a spoiler
[sp]Hmm, an elcor asked me to save his people on his home planet, but I can't seem to find it, where to search?[/sp]
Should be in the star system to the left of the Citadel.
I haven't beat Mass Effect 3 yet, but what I've heard the ending sucked so bad. Is this true?
It's a fine ending if you've been hit over the head with a sack of bricks, or if you particularly hate comprehensive storytelling and a story that delivers on it's promise of having all actions effect the end of the trilogy. Otherwise, prepare to be disappointed. They were so close, so fucking close, to a perfect game, and they threw it all away for... Whatever the fuck that was.
Should be in the star system to the left of the Citadel.
Name it please. I still can't find it.
Name it please. I still can't find it.
Dekuuna isn't in the solar system with the relay, it's in another part. There is an Asari colony in the relay system though. I can't quite remember the name, but it's in Outer Council Space.
Is there any way to edit how many assets you have?
Name it please. I still can't find it.
iirc it's in the Athena Nebula. But don't quote me on that.
Name it please. I still can't find it.
Silean Nebula [editline]10th March 2012[/editline]
iirc it's in the Athena Nebula. But don't quote me on that.
"Dekuuna is a large planet located in the Phontes system (Silean Nebula)," "As the homeworld of the elcor, Dekuuna is also known to have very few mountains"
Guess what I don't have Silean Nebula on my galaxy map somehow Edit: found it I'm dumb
Give Mass effect 3 the ending it deserved, and I would've loved it completely. Seriously, as I posted Earlier, the Gears of War ending is extremely similar to Mass Effect 3's plot, yet, the ending is enjoyable.
Gears of War is a game about chainsaw guns when it comes down to it though.
Gears of War is a game about chainsaw guns when it comes down to it though.
I know, but if you watch the ending, the Reapers are winning the war, then the crucible activates, kills all the Reapers, Shephard sits on the beach thinking of how many he lost to the war, next to his love interest. The end. Somewhat a better ending than we have now :v:
I haven't beat Mass Effect 3 yet, but what I've heard the ending sucked so bad. Is this true?
I just beat it. It's... not what you might expect. It's no "IT WAS JUST A DREAM" but the ending definitely comes way out of left field
Does anybody know if the N7 Edition Soundtrack is the full one?
Alright I found Dekuuna but I can't land on it, I've only managed to scan it and find some artifact.
Looks cut off to me.
The endings are not "bad" as in poorly executed or bad quality, they just seem bad as in "dark". What ever you do you get some grim-dark themed ending(cant say more without spoilertags). Everyone should still play the game, dont get influenced by all the negative feedback. The endings are really strong emotionally and the final choices are really hard to make. Its just that what ever you do, there doesnt seem to be a "... and they lived happily ever after" ending.

The problem is the fact we don't know jackshit about what happens to everything we once cared about, then they nuke the entire fucking universe in a 1 minute long cutscene.
Alright I found Dekuuna but I can't land on it, I've only managed to scan it and find some artifact.
The "Artifact" was likely the refugees.

There is literally no closure, the fuck happens to the people after the end, the fuck does Shepard do in the [sp]control[/sp] ending etc.
That's not the problem we have with the ending. That it's dark is no problem. You can either fuck yourself up, or fuck everything up. And after you've done with the fucking shit up, you get a way open ending which doesnt explain anything.
The "Artifact" was likely the refugees.
Yes, you're right. Oh well, I hoped for a mission

The Quarians have their own homeworld now? That's nice, but they're all immortal machine-people now anyway.[/sp] [sp]Joker still walks with a limp, though?[/sp] [sp]you know what, hold on a second. what the fuck even happened? All I know is that I had to kill myself so that everyone could have glowy circuitboard skin.[/sp]
Exactly. You can either fuck yourself up, or fuck everything up. And after you've done with the fucking shit up, you get a way open ending which doesnt explain anything.
So, how is an ending that doesn't explain anything good in any way?
[sp]Oh and the subject of Tali's face. A three fingered hand is about the ugliest thing you could have put in her portrait picture[/sp] [editline]0[/editline] Im not saying its, good, quite the opposite. Maybe I should have had some sleep before trying to talk, I stayed up to 5 am finishing the game and Im just disappointed...
[sp]Oh and the subject of Tali's face. A three fingered hand is about the ugliest thing you could have put in her portrait picture[/sp]
[sp]I'm not sure what's worse - the inconclusive ending or the fact that Quarians are just stupid space-elves after all.[/sp]
[sp]I'm not sure what's worse - the inconclusive ending or the fact that Quarians are just stupid space-elves after all.[/sp]
After seeing that concept art for quarian faces, I was hoping for an actual alien. Not a human with some dots on her neck.
After seeing that concept art for quarian faces, I was hoping for an actual alien. Not a human with some dots on her neck.
And then we learn that her picture is just a photoshopped human face. Great originality, Bioware.
I should stop coming to this thread before finishing the game. SO MANY BLACK LINES, TEMPTATION TO CLICK, RISING! :suicide:
