I thought the dream sequences were out of place and annoying.
I thought the dream sequences were out of place and annoying.
Yeah, they did feel rather forced and kind of dumb. Like they were saying "This is a kid. He died and you care about him because he was a kid and he died. Feel sad now."
I thought the dream sequences were out of place and annoying.
I somewhat agree. They just felt like another way to force you to feel sad. I mean, the logic behind them is not that bad, but why is that fucking child all over the place? Seriously, my shephard went through the Batarian raids and never saw any children die?
my shepard survived thresher maws and watched people boil into black piles of mush but he remember some dumb fucking kid that gets laser beamed in a shuttle
my shepard survived thresher maws and watched people boil into black piles of mush but he remember some dumb fucking kid that gets laser beamed in a shuttle
Imagine if you didnt save everyone in ME2 - You witnessed Kelly melting alive in front of you, but a random kid dying breaks your heart.
Maybe the race Sovereign was built from was just a race of assholes. Like something similar to the Vorcha. That would also explain why they left his ass behind. "Uh, yeah, you're the, uh, vanguard for our return! Very important! Just... Just wait here for a few thousand years. We'll be back."
Sovereign told the Vorcha of Gavorn's tricks.
Fuckin' Bioware man. It's like they got lazy and just pumped those endings out in like five minutes. And the fucking dream sequences, oh my god. It was like one of those cheesy fucking Hallmark movies.
Just beat it. Er... um... I don't even know what to say. I feel sad that it came to this. Everything was SO incredible, up to the final five minutes... and then it just... wow. Ugh.
Wow, I just realized how bad my first ending was. [sp] I chose the destroy ending, every one on earth dies, and when the Normandy crashed, I just got the door popping open and then the credits rolled. Now I'm even more depressed. :([/sp]
I will be incomplete in life until Bioware gives me a happy ending.

The door opened and Joker, Liara, and Javik stepped out onto a world with no means of getting off.[/sp]
Wow, you got the ending with under 1800 assets. Ouch.
The real kicker is that it was my good profile too. Every one was alive, [sp]united the geth and quarians[/sp], blew up the base.
The real kicker is that it was my good profile too. I can't wait to continue the legend with DLC!!!!!!!
Really sucks that the ending depends on the assets you have, and they shrink down your assets with Multiplayer requirement AND disreguard your paragon/Renegade points.
The thing about it that I really hate is the multiplayer adding to you're assets. Not because its there, but why the hell would I play the multiplayer before I finish the game?
Just some thoughts on the ending. [sp]In all honesty, I don't think the endings (well, the ending I chose) were bad. I destroyed the reapers, I played through the whole game as a Paragon with little renegade thrown in. Everyone seems to complain that they're decisions didn't mean squat. In my mind, this whole thing is bigger than Shepard. Throughout Mass Effect 1 and 2, I saw how much decisions did make differences, but what it comes down to is this one, final decision. Nothing else could affect those decisions; me saving the rachni queen would have no effect on what decision I made in the end, and I chose what I thought was right. From the moment we first learned about the reapers, what they were capable of, and how our whole mission, our goal was to stop them. That's why I destroyed them. Shepard said it himself, we are not ready to have this kind of control and power, so Shepard couldn't have controlled them. I think in Shepards mind, he always knew he would die to save humanity, and he was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the universe. Also, the destruction of the mass relays may have been a good thing. This cycle may not have been ready for this. I don't know, I just finished the game 5 minutes ago, and that's how I feel. My opinion may change, but as of now, I feel as if I am one of the few who /likes/ the ending.[/sp] TLDR: I think I like the endings. Also I just realized I got the perfect ending? [sp]Joker/Tali/Garrus got out of the Normandy stranded, and then it shows Shepards body in ruins and he starts breathing. Yet I didn't have 5000+, but I did have 99% readiness? I'm a bit confused. [/sp]
Fucking stupid that the third game of singleplayer trilogy requires you to play MP to get the best ending.
According to Bioware, you can get the best ending entirely with singleplayer.
With all DLC. I've yet to see someone achieve 5000 effective war assets without playing MP.
According to Bioware, you can get the best ending entirely with singleplayer.
I've been told that even after doing all the side quests it's not enough unless you play MP. And I shouldn't have to do all of those boring fetch quests anyway.
With all DLC. I've yet to see someone achieve 5000 effective war assets without playing MP.
What DLC? Aside from Javik, the rest of the DLC is armor and weapons.
You can get around maybe 4500 entirely in SP. I'm not exactly sure since, I did miss a few side quests and I also did some MP to get some small boosts(I finished with 4444 assets).
I had about 5900 without touching MP. [sp]Still got a shit ending[/sp]
I had about 5900 without touching MP. [sp]Still got a shit ending[/sp]
Effective or Total?
I have 4643 Total Military Strength 99% readiness Rating Yet I still got the 'perfect' ending, so what gives?
I have 4643 Total Military Strength 99% readiness Rating Yet I still got the 'perfect' ending, so what gives?
Not the perfect ending. It's the slightly better ending. The perfect ending lies in Newgame + apparently.
Somehow I had 4999 Total Military Strength before the last mission :v:
Effective or Total?
Effective maybe: would have to check it, but I'm in no position to do so ATM.
