I can't explain why, there were many paintings that were more spectacular. That one just feels... familiar. Like being in a place you go to school or work after hours when there's no one there. That's what it feels like.

I honestly would of preferred a cliche "shepard defeats the reapers and survives, everyone celebrates", at least that would have spared the god awful writing and plot twists

While I agree, I have to say that an ending like this wouldn't be even slightly possible.
I mean, Reapers obliterate humanity/etc and have obliterated other races during previous cycles and you expect this to go "just as planned"? Come on.

It's amazing how Bioware managed to get one of the best scenes in gaming history (space battle) within 30 minutes of the worst (game ending)

It's not that I wanted that to BE the ending, but at least it would have made coherent sense instead of some inconclusive, inconsistent ending that does nothing but leave everything unanswered and only raise more questions.

If they hadn't disabled game saving in the endgame, I would have saved 1 hour, because I wouldn't have had to listen through the dialogue 3 times in a row. :|
