I like to think that my Shepard, with his 10^10^100 paragon points, would manage.
Perhaps, but still don't wanna put a bet on that. The only good Reaper is a dead Reaper

Exactly why I picked [sp]destroy[/sp], but I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the outcome.
[sp]I wish Shepherd said 'Assuming control' in that ending[/sp]
[sp]The game should have ended with Shepard boarding Harbinger, somehow finding a way to control him, and saying I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.[/sp]
Man, I feel like maybe this game wasn't finished, because I dunno, most of the writing was decently done and didn't feel like how the ending goes.

[sp]While that is true, I'd rather choose control, even with the possibility of reverse indoctrination.
To each his own I guess?[/sp]

I suppose.
Blasto 6 - the best movie in the galaxy
I suppose.
I suppose you can say that [sp]The Reapers are incredibly powerful and old, and wouldn't allow someone to control them just like that.
But at the same time, the plans and effects of the crucible have been passed down from cycle to cycle countless times. The best minds from who knows how many civilizations, all working to make sure it works without a hitch when the time comes.
I'm fairly sure some of them would have thought about reapers indoctrinating the one to control them, if that one decides to do so.[/sp]

Me too I don't think the endings sucked because of bad writing but because they didn't want a cliche ending
And neither do i think they are milking it ME3 was supposed to be bigger and better and the end of ME but there was alot of stuff they couldn't fit in time, although they need to make that shit free

I honestly wouldn't have minded if they got rid of some-things to make the main game better.
Like Fetch-Quest garbage? Chop that out.

[sp]The AI/supreme consciousness in the citadel fully controls the reapers. the crucible is just a device that allows the citadel to transmit a signal through the mass relay system. I think.[/sp]

[SP]except the people designing the crucible likely did not know about the choices presented there. Asshole McGlowychild said himself that no organics had ever been there before.[/sp]
I don't understand one thing in the ending.
[sp]How does Anderson get to the control panel at the end? I mean there's only one way to go there and that's the way you come from.
Also there can be a sequel if the cannon ending is Control.
How? Well... You play as a fucking REAPER. You do missions for other Reapers. And also there's more romance options.[/sp]

I liked that, actually. It was a pleasant change from SHOOTYSHOOTYSHOOTYSHOOTY

Doesn't mean those dudes couldn't have put some kind of super scifi shit in there to make it work.
Ah well, I'll just enjoy my ignorant happy end.
IGN has got information on the endings.
[sp]If the Collector Base was saved:
EMS <2050: Earth is destroyed.
EMS 2050: The Control ending saves Earth.
EMS 2350: The Destroy ending saves but devastates Earth.
EMS 2650: The Destroy ending saves Earth.
EMS 2800: Synthesis ending unlocked.
EMS 4000: You can save Anderson, and if you do so, Shepard lives in the Destroy ending.
EMS 5000: In the Destroy ending, Shepard lives whether you save Anderson or not.
If the Collector Base was destroyed:
EMS <1900: Earth is destroyed.
EMS 1900: The Destroy ending saves but devastates Earth.
EMS 2350: The Control ending saves Earth.
EMS 2650: The Destroy ending saves Earth.
EMS 2800: Synthesis ending unlocked.

They wouldn't be so bad if the game TOLD ME WHERE TO GO.
Either it says just the PLANET or just the SYSTEM or just the CLUSTER or NOTHING AT ALL
Its great too, dunno about you guys but I had no chance to [sp] Save Anderson[/sp] Max Paragon, Max Reputation and I was unable to do the 4th and final dialogue check with TIM.
Seriously what the fuck.
So is it possible to go into the final battle with just the normandy like they said?
Alright, I'm too worried about spoilers to check back the last 2500 or so posts, but after reading on reddit about the whole "banned for playing a game where the host changed the credit gain" thing, is playing multiplayer basically Russian Roulette at the moment? I don't want to risk playing if there's a chance to get seriously fucked.
This game made me think less of the Quarians and better of the Batarians.
i'm really torn on whether to get ME3 or not. on one hand, i've put 20 hours into ME1 and 44 into ME2 (single playthrough on both) but on the other hand ME3 sounds like a more actiony extension of ME2.
I'm just curious as to why the Quarians have a Yiddish accent.

ME3 is a delicious game worth the money but with a terrible aftertaste.
