The mass relays were the only other things that blew up, but we were told that would happen. And I guess Joker was in FTL between relays when the pulse went out? Really, we haven't seen much people dying besides things we were told would be destroyed.[/sp]

I'm pretty sure i would do the same if i were Joker.
I mean, the poor guy has a bone disease, in all of the games only thing he's done is sitting in that damn chair and flying you in and out of several missions, except for that instance when the collecters hit Normandy.
It's only fair that Joker would get a chance at love before the shit hits the fan. EDI even started to like Joker and copy his humor in ME2. That was the beginning of a great friendship between those two.
Well that's only me airing my opinion.
