Just finished ME3. Brilliant game, with very few missteps and terrible textures. I've resolved myself to trying to read the [B]520 posts[/B] that you lot managed to post in the 24 hours it took me to finish 100% before I share a coherent opinion, but I will say this
Against my better instinct, I ended up spoiling the ending long before I got my copy, however [sp]in a way, knowing that Shepard would die in the end made the build up to the last battle more meaningful to me. Being able to contact pretty much everyone I had a major relationship with since [b]2007[/b] genuinely made me feel as though it was the definite end to my Shepard's journey. [/sp]
I am genuinely sad that this has come to an end...
EDIT: Oh, and yes, that is 24 hours straight, barring toilet breaks and meals. I need sleep now

God, this makes me so pumped. I fucking loved mass Effect 1. The sense of wonder, stepping into a completely new fleshed out, bright, exciting world...

I loaded ME1 back up and holy shit there's a crouch button. And the animations are way better.
Maybe I'm judging ME3 too early, seeing as I'm only just an hour in but it feels... off. Mass Effect had that "just right" feel to it, it drew you in. Mass Effect 2 felt a bit different, and FemShep lost her unique animations but it was easy to adjust to and it still had the same feel.
Mass Effect 3 just feels wrong. I really hope I get used to the changes, but I just can't shake the uncomfortable feeling. I recently replayed ME2 because I lost my saves. It was my 6th or 7th replay and I still enjoyed the heck out of it, hell I even played it for 6 hours without getting bored of it.
An hour into ME3 and all I could think is "god I can't be bothered with this today". Maybe I'm just exhausted from ME2 but, ah I'm babbling.

i agree, i thought the game was solid overall but i do not feel the urge to play through it dozens of times over like the last two games for some reason. i just started another playthrough as a vanguard, im at the first visit to the citadel and im already kind of bored. its sad really only after just 1 playthrough

Anyone having a problem connecting to friends for multiplayer today?
4 of us are trying to play, and 3 of us can't connect to each other, and only one can connect to the 4th.
Is it something with the servers? Everything was working fine in the beta, and most recently on Thursday.

What's wrong with the non combat zone jogging animation? The in-combat sprint is bad yeah, but I thought the jogging animation was fine. At least you don't have a limp anymore.
