Off the current topic, but does anyone remember the medical lab on Noveria with the sick patients and the doctor (the one who asks you if you'll make a cure for them in exchange for a pass into the maintenance area)?

I think the story will be subpar as well, this 'old script' is a pretty good indicator of their direction in terms of development. You really think they've changed [i]everything[/i] out of that script? Or hell even [i]most[/i] things? No, they've probably tweaked it a bit and changed some minor things, but to assume that they've redone the entire thing in this short amount of time is laughably optimistic. Talk about 'blind optimism'. Until i'm given a reason to think the story will be good, whether by more info or playing the game, I will rightly presume that the quality of the game will be what the script and the action-y trailers have portrayed it to be.
Ignoring everything and saying 'oh it's old' or 'they'll fix it, i'm sure' is ridiculous. Related.

Then you can't really have an argument with us spoiler-junkies. The leaked script reads like a revelation and most prophecies in it turned out to be true. I have mixed feelings about the game.
I imagine the whole [sp]EDI sexbot[/sp] synopsis from the leak might feel forced and awkward in the final game, yet I have faith in Seth Green's voice acting talents and the presentation of it might make it completely hilarious and entertaining.
However that's just the tip of the iceberg and some main character deaths seem to be unforgivable. I was just thinking about the writers of ME1 and 2 and how Mac Walters butchered the story in the comics. Drew Karpyshyn seems to be the only person with true writing skills. If you read all the books you probably know that feel: His story simply breathes the spirit of the first game.
