i hate mass effect whatever i do my character ends up looking like a shaved baboon
[sp]So helping the geth kills Tali, so I can save her if I don't?[/sp] I have a save before that boss anyway.
[sp]Too bad about the extinction level event ending[/sp]
okay that's dangerous amounts of spoiling but i saw that coming anyway. i like endings like that. it shouldn't end like a made-for-TV movie where everyone says what they are doing after high school.
Well it had better of been a damn good threesome, or maybe something better than that since we're just making things up.
Pretty much, but I still don't think one can compare relationships in real life with fiction. I won't be there to admire the story and it's ending after it's over and I'm dead, you know.
[sp]So helping the geth kills Tali, so I can save her if I don't?[/sp] I have a save before that boss anyway.
[sp]You can save both[/sp]
[sp]So helping the geth kills Tali, so I can save her if I don't?[/sp] I have a save before that boss anyway.
[sp]On the first choice, you let legion start the upload. After that you'll be able to do a P/R choice and save both of them, you need to have done a few things to be able to save both though[/sp] [editline]0[/editline]
-Rewrote the Heretics (0 points) -Destroyed the Heretics (+2 points) -Tali is NOT exiled (+2 points) -Tali has been exiled/You did not do the Loyalty Mission (0 points) -Resolved Legion/Tali conflict either using the Paragon or Renegade options (+1 point) -N7 Mission: Save the Admiral on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point) -N7 Mission: Destroy Geth Squadron on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point) -Completed Legion's Mission in ME3 (or no peace)
[sp]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8f88cXUB2s&feature=related Ending of Mass Effect 3, tehehe.[/sp]
Hey, I have a renegade question relating to Ashley/Kaidan. [sp]If I never visit them in the Citadel, will they die when Cerberus invade? I only visted Ashley's unconscious body, and she just emailed me about her getting the Spectre offer.[/sp] Also I edited this save for renegade to play through ME3, and made sure Wrex was killed on Virmire was checked, [sp]but he's still at the diplomat meeting[/sp], no matter though, I like Wrex the best anyhow.
One of the strongest scenes in the game, or any game: http://youtu.be/ih5bhxsI534?hd=1 (Massive spoilers)
Well i just finished the game, i expected more from endings. [sp]I hope i only could choose 2 options in the end: reapers will destroy organics and new cycle begins or you will destroy reapers, everybody is happy and you will live with "little blue kids". But no.. Well in any case, in all endings all relays are destroyed, which means more than 90% of galactic is destroyed. And why should Normandy be somewhere away from Earth? The ship should stay near it.[/sp] I dont think that this is Bioware fault. Its EA fault. May be they asked them to hurry with game release. Or i dont know. Damn it, something died in me 1 hour ago. [sp]All i just wanted to see happy Sheprad's family, and may be Garrus on a beach.. Well this might be stupid, but i still have hope that bioware will add other endings, because i dont want to see these three.[/sp]
One of the strongest scenes in the game, or any game: http://youtu.be/ih5bhxsI534?hd=1 (Massive spoilers)
[sp] Renegade interrupt for Mordin was far more moving to me. [/sp]
One of the strongest scenes in the game, or any game: http://youtu.be/ih5bhxsI534?hd=1 (Massive spoilers)
[sp] talis death scene was cheesy as hell, the way that she dramatically turns around and spreads her arms while falling made me crack up to be honest and that paragon interrupt is useless, looks like bioware was trolling [/sp]
Too bad I never got a happy ending now live in peace with your waifu and your creepy hybrid children while you use Conrad as a chair
This experience is giving me hope that maybe Episode 3 is taking so long because they don't want to half ass the ending.
[sp]I was trying to figure it out but failed, if you kill Maelon, destroy data, and Mordin dies, can you still cure the genophage?[/sp]
There's the thing I can't understand... Why is [sp]Destroy portrayed as bad ending - renegade-red one? Red explosions, red aura, while Merge/Synthesis is portrayed in blue-paragon color? Destroy seems like a logical conclusion to the trilogy - reapers are defeated, Mass Relays are destroyed in all endings, so that's not the case, every organic species are left with their free will (and ME supposedly is all about choice and free will of a given individual).[/sp] It really does feel like BioWare are messing with us, no wonder people are already theorycrafting out there, and on massive scale.
I think Mass Effect 3 had as good of a story as Mass Effect 1 up until the end.
I still think ME1 handles the "end run" better. That scene where you step out of the elevator and see the closed-up Citadel lights all around you, and then start running towards the giant Sovereign on top of the tower is amazing.
Well they were hyping her up an awful lot in ME2. It was like "oh hey I got to do some stuff but I'm capable of compressing steel into a coffee cup now so if you do that I'll work with you", so they were just kinda saying that she was awesome now but you'll have to wait for ME3 to get her. Also, did [sp]Palaven's moon[/sp] remind anyone else of that bit from Starship Troopers a lot?
I thought the moon was probably the best scene in the game. The whole description about [sp]Palaven[/sp] was amazing too. [sp]Reapers offer cities the chance to surrender. Not a single one does. When the Krogan arrive they start nuking the Reapers, destroying cities in the process.[/sp] This is why Turians are my favorite race in Mass Effect. And the Yahg.
[sp]Has anyone figured out how stupid the Crucible is yet? How on earth would any species ever be able to use it if the Reapers attack through the Citadel each cycle cutting off the entire relay network? If the crucible needs to attach itself to the Citadel then no race would ever be able to use it and it is pure chance that this cycle was able too. Plotholes...[/sp]
My EMS was around 6000 when I finished the game and I had pretty much every "good" option still up, [sp]saved Anderson from being killed by IM outright etc [/sp]. Then I got to choose the ending and went with Synergy, but now I feel like shit cause the [sp]indoctrination theory[/sp] actually feels plausible.
Is it normal or weird to get a small crush on a fictional character in a video game?
Is it normal or weird to get a small crush on a fictional character in a video game?
You have a crush on soverign ? If that's the case, that's normal.
You have a crush on soverign ? If that's the case, that's normal.
That voice could make Rick Santorum gay.
Yeah he's just so big and handsome

And the Yahg.
Yahg have no science, no refinement, no ideas, they'll be outdone in some way eventually. Turians are up in the top order though, right near Brogans and Geth.
Is it normal or weird to get a small crush on a fictional character in a video game?
Mostly yeah, it's fine. As long as it's no worse than the kind of attraction to a celebrity or someone in any other fictional medium, there's nothing wrong. People are bound to invest themselves a bit and form attachments to story elements, it's a part of literature.

The Geth will die too, invalidating Legion's sacrifice, it will also kill EDI, and any other synthetic in the Galaxy.[/sp]
And then the Yahg evolved into Shadow Brokers
Man I remember Portal 2 left me really satisfied with the ending. I'm sitting here now feeling empty. It feels like ME3 is not finished and it's really bugging me.
In my opinion [sp]Synergy[/sp] was the best ending if [sp]the kid was telling the truth and you weren't being indoctrinated. I mean, it saves all the organic and synthetic life in the galaxy and ends the cycle of destruction, and from what I could gather, everyone still remains alive and has free will. [/sp]

Ed Shepard will forever be my true Commander Shepard. Thanks for giving me tips on how to romantically engage Asari species, I'm sure it will come handy. Only if you weren't so damn idealistic at times. And Garrus still owes me a drink. Supporting character spoilers: [sp]I rather disliked Mordin in ME2, but his death scene was truly moving and memorable. Job well done here.[/sp] There was a massive shitstorm around BioWare and EA, but I expected it worse. Much worse. But I actually enjoyed the last Mass Effect like a guy, who really liked the two previous games, should enjoy it. Couldn't care less about the probable after-game DLCs. My Shepard's story is at the end. Finito.
