None of the endings really felt right for me, the ending choice was really the weakest part of the game.

Yet they could have had a real shot at defeating the Reapers if Shepard had failed. They were on the cusp of developing space flight according to the game, yet the Reapers passed over their homeworld without destroying everything. They have incredible promise. Stronger than Krogan, they'll definitely follow their leadership like the Turians, and from seeing the Shadow Broker we can be pretty sure they're quite intelligent as well. Only things they lack or we just don't know of yet are the Krogan survivability, Krogan / Asari longevity, and the speed of Krogan reproduction. The races of the galaxy in the current cycle got what, 5000 years of reign before the Reapers? The Yahg could potentially get 50,000. I'm sure that would be enough for mounting some serious resistance, ESPECIALLY if they find [sp]one of Liara's time capsules[/sp].
So even if Shepard fails, the Yahg will claim the galaxy and prosper.
Ok, popping back in the game properly rested this time. In my first hour though I really like what they did with Cerberus. In ME2 they seemed suave and you kind of got to like them a bit, then with the [sp]husked cerberus operative[/sp] it snapped you out of it and made you realise "oh fuck I've been working with a mad man".

[sp]Shepard himself says, that TIM "was right after all". Maybe TIM wasn't that evil, maybe he really cared about the destiny of humanity. Well, at least before indoctrination. After getting indoctrinated, he practically ended up in a loop - hopelessly trying to resist the Reaper influence, but failing to overcome it. (part of him wanted to control the Reapers in order to stop them) But the Reapers just wouldn't let TIM control them.[/sp]
just got quarian/geth alliance. i have 4500 ems from single player alone, im pretty sure ill be able to get 500 more before the games over?

There's a difference between effective and total ems, you're most likely talking about total, while you need 5000 effective ems, which is pretty much the total cut in half.
