Anyone tried shooting that "godchild" yet?
I want to know if that's possible.
I honestly wish that were a possible ending choice.
Without the head the rest of the Reapers might fall into disarray.
Hey guys i'm back.
Playin through ME3, shit's good. I just got up to settling the [sp]Quarian / Geth dispute[/sp]. How much further roughly have I got to go till the endgame starts?
That's like the end of the second act out of three.
[sp]Shepard himself says, that TIM "was right after all". Maybe TIM wasn't that evil, maybe he really cared about the destiny of humanity. Well, at least before indoctrination. After getting indoctrinated, he practically ended up in a loop - hopelessly trying to resist the Reaper influence, but failing to overcome it. (part of him wanted to control the Reapers in order to stop them) But the Reapers just wouldn't let TIM control them.[/sp]
[sp]Yes, Shepard said it - he was basing that statement upon what that Kid-alyst told him. That was dumb of Shep, like the... thing behind the Reapers wouldn't try to defend itself. Oh look, another plothole. The fact is - after being faceplanted by two fucking examples for how not to interact with Reapers, and told by the Prothean program about "those who wanted to control the Reapers" one has to be an idiot to try and mess with them.[/sp]
And with that vague semi-spoiler, i'm out of the thread again till I finish the game.
My apologizes.
Definitive proof that the "From Ashes" DLC character is on the disc:
1. Open Coalesced.bin with this http://wenchy.net/me3-coalesced-utility
2. Search for this:
MemberValidCID=22, MemberAvailablePlotLabel=IsSelectableProthean,
3. Replace with this:
MemberValidCID=, MemberAvailablePlotLabel=,
That's it. Javik the Prothean is now unlocked. "From Ashes" not required

Bioware has done nothing but lie about Mass Effect 3 this whole time

Do I get to make a Bioware version of this except with Casey Hudson?

Here's something a bit comical I found on Sur'Kresh. Before you enter the SGT base you can look around and etc, but behind Wrex is on the containment pods where you can interact with the console. The Salarian will begin asking for you to stop touching it. :v:

I don't need this. [sp] I already have a fecal matter analyzer. [/sp]

Related to this
[sp]Currently making a save to play in ME3 and can't really remember what some of the choices did, I found this list:
Brokering peace between the Quarians and Geth depends on a 7 point system;* you need at least 5 points to save both sides:
DESTROY the Heretics in Legion's ME2 loyalty mission (+2)
Prevent Tali from being exiled WITHOUT revealing the information about her father's experiments (+2)
Resolve Legion and Tali's argument in ME2 WITHOUT losing either one's loyalty (+1)
Save Admiral Zaal'Koris vas Qwib Qwib in ME3 (+1)
Shutdown Geth fighter squadrons in ME3 (+1)
The heretics were the ones you could reprogram back to normal geth right? Why is destroying them a point giver if the reprogramming one isn't?
I remember the tali parts well so that's not needed, so I pretty much have to destroy the fighter wings and rescue that annoying qwib qwib guy to get the good ending of that part of the game.
If anyone could correct me if I'm thinking of the wrong geth heretics feel free to correct me on this, also an opinion on which would be worse for the geth in the long run, destroying the fighters or destroying the heretics [/sp]
So, this is my new favorite ending theory
http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/9764576
It can't possibly be the true ending, but it makes sense and is kind of cleverly written like how the rest of Mass Effect 3 was.
[sp]Or a better explanation is that it's a shitty ending for an otherwise great series being produced by a developer that we all know has been getting worse and worse as time goes on, their insistence that it's all just to keep people from datamining is borderline conspiracy theorist. Even if they release a DLC (it'll cost money, of course) that "fixes" the endings, it means Bioware is at the point in it's development history where they're willing to make people pay for a good ending.[/sp]
spoilers but hilarious

Anyone know of a save editor/generator where you can pick all the plot options?

is..is this for real?
Meh ending.
[sp]And holy christ, my rep bar was just about full Paragon and I still couldn't use the final Charm option on TIM. Why is that man so hard to please?[/sp]
Genius!

Nobody can.
Probably late here, but in the ME3 concept art book, there is a picture of a Normandy SR12

Badass.
Just looks like a stealth cruiser than a stealth frigate.
So, I wonder what the Mass Effect team is going to do now that Mass Effect is over. Other then DLC

Hopefully fix the ending first. Then I believe they're considering an MMO.

[sp]Nobody can use final paragon option. End of game dumps you before cerberus hq, pretty much says for "wait for dlc".
DLC added between then and cerberus base, new paragon part in it.
Paragon option for TIM enabled? New Ending?[/sp]

[sp]Final paragon option worked fine on my game. Made TIM shoot himself after screaming "Shepard I...I tried! *BANG*"[/sp]
AmbASSador Udina.
