Meh ending.
[sp]And holy christ, my rep bar was just about full Paragon and I still couldn't use the final Charm option on TIM. Why is that man so hard to please?[/sp]
I could. I just chose only Paragon option, if you mix renegade\usual\paragon, than you cant use last options for both P\R.
AmbASSador Udina.
I was actually starting to like him :(
Anyone else really bothered by this?
AmbASSador Udina.
I want to know why he and a few other characters suddenly had hair that was dyed.
Mid-life crisis or something?
Wow.. (Some pretty big spoilers maybe?)
[sp]I'm doing all renegade for the most part, and I sabotaged the cure for the krogan. After I talked to the Asari councilor on the Citadel to go to Thessia, Wrex stops you from boarding the Normandy, and he found out. I also didn't stop the bomb, which blew up on Tuchanka. He was pissed, and he starts shooting at you, and I did all the Renegade interuptions, and you shoot him multiple times, smash him through a window in the docking bay. Then Bailey comes over and says something like 'just another mess to clean up'. Man, that just wrenched my heart, no wonder I never play renegade.[/sp]

That guy was ridiculous from the moment I saw him.

That's just fantastic and a nail on the head. Considering I was full Paragon besides some Interrupts.
ME2's system was contrived, but at-least I could do renegade interrupts and still do all the paragon responses (because shooting a LOKI-Mech = Bad?).
I did at most 3 Renegade interrupts, and all my dialogue choices were Paragon.
[sp]I'm not really sure why I don't like the ending. Felt like everything's there. Reapers destroyed, Shepard implied to be alive, Liara's not dead. Still, something just pisses me off about it...[/sp]

He's Martin Sheen, you need Tiger blood and Reaper blood to charm him.

[sp] I wonder how the people who defend renegade are going to defend the newer renegade options. Most of them paint Shepard out to be a genocidal maniac, who only cares for things that interfere with their interest. [/sp]

[sp] Like the fate of the Galaxy being left open and your crew getting ass chunked? I don't even mind the endings, I mind the lack of closure they give[/sp]
By the way, this is hands down the best armour in the game.

I also love the Black, White and Red colour scheme.
I found a desert camoish combo to be pretty sweet and fitting.

There's no closure beyond what your mind makes up. It also goes contrary to Shepard's established character and destroys the backbone of the ingame universe.
That might be why.
That guy was ridiculous from the moment I saw him.
Him and those weird phantoms and all those sword-wielding guys were silly. Some sort of anime/Kojima hybrids that completely broke the style of Cerberus and the genre and game profile.

Well shit, you just made this a whole lot easier for me to understand. And be mad at.
This is how I felt playing Bioshock. The game was great all the way up to Fontaine, and that was so bad it time-traveled and made the rest of the game bad.

But some aren't even that bad. Shooting a Loki Mech in ME2? [sp]Taking the shot and killing Udina before he kills the Asari councilor[/sp] or how about [sp]Buying the soldiers a round of beer at the bar and saluting them[/sp]
Probably late here, but in the ME3 concept art book, there is a picture of a Normandy SR12

Reminds me of the Pellaeon class SD

You know what else is weird? Shepard nor Anderson seem to note that the plan went to shit, they're the only two alive and your whole crew (for all you know at that point) is dead or gone.
You'd think they'd react, especially if you brought your LI on the mission. (Considering some people say their bodies are thrown around, I never seen my squad-mate's though)

[sp] I honestly think they're going to merge all the endings like they did in Deus EX for their MMO. [/sp]
[sp] I honestly think they're going to merge all the endings like they did in Deus EX for their MMO. [/sp]
That makes no sense, How could you merge [sp] Controlling the Reapers, while also destroying them and combining all life into synths?[/sp]. Hell if they do that, you realize ME's universe will be literally forever changed. I mean, all the endings already did that, but I think on an even bigger level.

[sp] Not talking about the ones in ME2, but let's take an example in ME3:
Mordin is ready to sacrifice himself to cure the genophage, you shoot him in the back as he walks up the elevator and he bleeds out as he reaches the top. [/sp]
[sp] I honestly think they're going to merge all the endings like they did in Deus EX for their MMO. [/sp]
[sp]In which event Bioware are complete bastards for sacrificing their entire trilogy just so they can make an MMO.[/sp]
As I said a while back though, I doubt that Bioware intended this reaction to happen.
[sp] I honestly think they're going to merge all the endings like they did in Deus EX for their MMO. [/sp]
[sp]So... Shepard is merged to destroyed Reapers that he controls?[/sp]

Yeah, that's true. But same game where I renegade interrupt to buy my guys a round of beer.

Well, then let's hope they do something about it.
[sp]So... Shepard is merged to destroyed Reapers that he controls?[/sp]
[sp] Makes about as much sense as why the Reapers are doing what they do still. [/sp]
That's just fantastic and a nail on the head. Considering I was full Paragon besides some Interrupts.

Cant disagree, P\R system was great for ME1 and ME2. I could fill Paragon scale with some awesome renegade interrupts.
Female version of Shepards priceless reaction to EDI's joke.

Alright, I just beat the game.
I have one thing to say.
That was the worst fucking ending to any video game I've ever played, and that includes Halo 2.
oh? i did it, i didnt think it required anything special. i just did absolute paragon decisions on everything and bam
People are saying you needed to do specific things in ME2 and [sp]save the civilian ships before attacking the geth fighter base[/sp]. I didn't even get the option to do the paragon decisions in the dialogue.
I didn't import a save since I played the others on xbox, so maybe that's why.
