Yeah that was around 4 or so days ago. Hoping it has something to do with the ending.

Save it, Mike. Please.
EDIT: The game I mean, not save the rhetoric for someone who cares. I genuinely mean save the series.
Okay, edited my ME2 save so I have Ashley alive, and all of my Cerberus crew alive because It was depressing seeing Ken in engineering without Gabby.

It's going to be pre-Earth DLC.
Mac Walters was 100% responsible for the ending. The man is a good character writer, but his plot skills are...well, lacking, to be polite.
Same thing that happened with LOST. The characters were very well written up to the very end, but the plot... God damn the plot made no sense.
I kind of wish they left the responsibility of writing the Reaper's motivations to the guy who actually imagined the reapers in the first place, Drew Karky-whatshisname or whoever it was.

You're lucky you even got to the denial stage. My pattern last night was
Depression. Anger. Depression. Confusion. Depression. Rage. Depression. Sleep.

I'm sure he mean't to say, get ready to hand over your wallet.
I just noticed one of the main writers (one out of 4-6) is Chris Hepler, is that... Hepler's husband?
:v: now we play the Bioware waiting game till they push out some kind of DLC
What if Jupiter was a Reaper superweapon?

[sp] I wished that the endings would have actually shown shepard setting down with his LI etc, shame that it didn't happen [/sp]
After listening to long-time fans of BioWare and their games – especially the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series – the inescapable sentiment is clear: fans, and particularly super-fans of these games, feel betrayed. BioWare may disagree, and may think that the gamers are ranting for no good reason. And I have no reason to believe that BioWare isn’t trying to make great games for their fans.
The problem is one of perception. Videos like this, which contradict so much of what BioWare and EA have been saying about the downloadable content, only serve to shatter that trust even more.
Here’s what gamers have been saying:
1. Since BioWare joined forces with EA, their games have gone from cerebral, complex, and unique to simplified games that sacrifice gameplay for story.
2. Worse, for games built around story, the mythology, at least in the Mass Effect franchise, has been changed in ways that make what was supposed to be a progressively unfolding plot incoherent. Many of the complaints I have heard are similar to those of Lost fans, disappointed with that show’s bizarre finale. As a Lost fan, I can certainly empathize.
3. The day-one DLC gives off the impression that BioWare and EA are more interested in squeezing cash out of their customers than in providing a quality game from the start.
(There are many other complaints, but this is the primary trifecta.)
The above video will only add fuel to the fire. With BioWare stating that the “From Ashes” was not developed alongside the rest of the game and not included on the disc, and a simple hack showing that this is not the case, it’s hard to see how the developer can possibly respond in a satisfying way.
As I’ve said previously, I want BioWare to succeed. I think many of its fans (and former fans) do as well. When your biggest fans start “ranting” about things like day-one DLC, the best thing to do is to listen and try to figure out why. That old adage “The customer is always right” applies here. Of course it’s not always true that the customer is always right, but it’s certainly important to take customer concerns into account rather than merely deflect them. It’s good for business.
Even Forbes is getting into this.

and not some fucking XENOS
I got this yesterday morning and I've played it for 20 hours, coming up to the end.
I'm guessing I'll be disappointed because everyone else seems to hate the game.

A Future for the Krogan, I'm Sorry, Leaving Earth, The Fleets Arrive and An End Once and For All are the best songs out of the OST, easily.

Stop when you finish with the Illusive Man.
Make up your own ending.
Anything is better than the one given.

That and because Jessica Chobot.
IGN would have been right if it weren't for the ending though. :/

I don't think people hate the game, they just hate the ending.
I'm still sure quite sure if it was mentioned in mass effect 3.. Or if I've been paying attention or not... Does it mention who created the reapers and/or etc?
I was really surprised there was no Cerberus Network analog for this game. In ME2 you got a bunch of free DLC, now you get day 1 on-disk DLC bullshit. Like the VIP packs in Bad Company 2.
Fucking EA.

Please add The Fleets Arrive to that list, thank you.

I won't speak for everybody, but personally, and what I think the general sentiment is, is that the ending sucked in ways none of us could have foreseen, but the game itself is still fantastic. Only in the last ten minutes or so does it go to shit.

oh yeah that reminds me; fuck jessica chobot, why is she in the game at all she's fucking execrable
