More or less, the plot was very neat, but the ending(s) are utter shit.

Piece it together from what everyone has been saying for the last 50 or so pages. Mostly everyone hates the ending.

The best game ever made and will never be surpassed for another 100 years.
But the ending is shit.
Yeah but at least I can [sp]save Anderson[/sp]
Ahrem. [sp]"Save Anderson." You just talk TIM into suicide. If you do talk him into suicide, Shephard truly SURVIVES. Anderson will always die[/sp]
Ahrem. [sp]"Save Anderson." You just talk TIM into suicide. If you do talk him into suicide, Shephard truly SURVIVES. Anderson will always die[/sp]
[sp]By Survive you mean that little breath thing he does after the credits?
Can't you get that without the final P/R decision with TIM?[/sp]

It's a good thing that mostly everyone hates the ending, that shows Bioware how wrong they were when they cut out the good stuff.

The game was great, the endings were shit.
You'll enjoy it if you quit out after the last gameplay sequence and make up your own ending.
[sp]By Survive you mean that little breath thing he does after the credits?

I will be clear on this.
[sp]AT 4000 EMS, if you talk the illusive man into Suicide, Shephard will breathe at the end.
At 5000 EMS, even if you don't talk the illusive man into Suicide, Shephard will breathe at the end.
In any Case, Anderson will still die, The Catalyst will always be a fucking bitch ending scene.
[/sp]
Ahrem. [sp]"Save Anderson." You just talk TIM into suicide. If you do talk him into suicide, Shephard truly SURVIVES. Anderson will always die[/sp]
Oh. Well I was able to do that anyway. Even when I had just around 3000 EMS.
Oh. Well I was able to do that anyway. Even when I had just around 3000 EMS.
I couldn't, 3800 EMS. Don't know, it seems you need to fill a few pre-requisites that aren't too clear yet.
I also did the [sp]destory ending but didn't get the part where Shep survives[/sp]
I think [sp]"Save Anderson"[/sp] is code for [sp]TIM not outright killing Anderson. He still dies no matter what.[/sp]
They seriously need to introduce class unlock points that you can get from crates. Where you can choose what class you want to use it on, and not where you get everything by chance. I want more customization for my engineer, not bunch of useless upgrades for guns and classes I don't touch. There could also be weapon upgrade points you can use on weapons you actually use.
I apologize if I'm late

I recall downloading nearly 800mb of content when I was downloading From Ashes.

Should have used that picture of Casey's face someone posted couple pages ago.
Hey everybody! EA discriminates against the fanbase!
Pretty sure the only thing on the disc was his Squad-Mate code, not his mission or anything.
So if thats true, than actually Bioware sort of can't be blamed there.

This too, pretty sure its made of his mission, dialogue and the CGI
Just finished the game now after 28 hours. So I can finally read through this thread.
I went with the [sp]Synthesis[/sp] ending.
Really good trilogy of games, I will miss it :(
also the character design for EDI was fucking retarded
Giving EDI a body was an excellent idea, lots of themes and social commentary that could have been done (this is, after all, the point of science fiction)
and they waste it on G-cup tits
don't get me wrong I [del]don't mind[/del] like G-cup tits but I don't think they belong in Mass Effect
Minor spoilers in the tags, but I think just about everyone knows about this by now. Anyway, two things:
The majority of criticisms of Mass Effect 3 stem from the fact that [sp]ending was so bad.[/sp] If that wasn't the case, then all of these nitpicking critiques would have been cast aside and the game would have overwhelming approval. Of course, I'm disappointed too. This had so much potential, and now it's been completely squandered.
Second is that I'm still hoping for [sp]end-game changing DLC, akin to Broken Steel.[/sp] I would love to see the problems rectified, but I'm unsure if that will happen. However, I'd never pay for it. If this ever happens, it should be free. I shouldn't have to pay for something that was supposed to be good (indicators in Anderson's last bits of dialogue). Again, there was so much potential that was squandered here.
All in all, I loved Mass Effect 3 for its story, development and gameplay. Everything was nearly perfect [sp]up until the last few moments.[/sp] Oh well.

I always had a 70th year feeling from her "hair", like the hair style from the 60th or the 70th.
Mass Effect: where catching a hamster in the bowels of the Normandy takes priority over saving the Galaxy.
Also, who's the douchebag that made me play scavenger hunt for my model ships (which would be awesome as airfix models in real life).
Someone on Reddit was messing with the ME3 Gib editor and found this option...

We always knew Verner was the key to saving the Universe.
