I'm not crying. I'm not crying. I'm crying. Oh God I'm crying.
Wow. And that was made with voice cuts from the actual game. Perfect closure, somewhat :v:.
assuming direct control
We will direct this personally.
I just do like "Quariltrator" Or "FemGuard" for my MP names
Funny thought i just had, i was thinking that mass effect 3 was essentially the 3rd star wars where Anakon becomes darth vadar with Shephard [sp] Controlling the reapers[/sp] and then some random descendent of your love interest finds you on the [sp]citadel[/sp] and you fight or something.
wait a minute... so... [sp]Turian, Krogan, Asari, Quanarian and Geth fleets are all stuck in Sol as the relays are destroyed? I'm beginning to believe the hallucination/indoctrination theory about the ending is more likely [/sp]
I wish that [sp]Legion's AI was transferred/uploaded when you did the tron mission, and he comes back, alive in a different "body"[/sp] shame it never happens, though
That is what Legion says happens. EDI refutes that though by saying he died.
wait a minute... so... [sp]Turian, Krogan, Asari, Quanarian and Geth fleets are all stuck in Sol as the relays are destroyed? I'm beginning to believe the hallucination/indoctrination theory about the ending is more likely [/sp]
[sp]Not only are they stuck but, if we follow The Arrival DLC as canon (which the game seems to have done), then presumably the Sol system and every other system with a mass relay was obliterated in several of the endings. The list of plotholes and problems with the endings go on and on. The indoctrination theory is probably the only one which begins to make sense to me even if it is a copout.[/sp]
Wait, so if you call it off with Miranda [sp]She dies in the Sanctuary mission? Even if she was loyal in ME2? That sucks[/sp]
I seem to have become stuck on the [sp]'Aria: Eclipse'[/sp] mission. [sp]I chose to go the Paragon way, not releasing the psychotic asari and encouraging her second in command to step up to the plate. Apparently Bailey's supposed to contact me and let me know that Aria's stopped the release request. I've had no such message and I've left and gone to the Refugee area many times since.[/sp] Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Co-op time, add me @ Soleedus

I'm beginning to believe the hallucination/indoctrination theory about the ending is more likely [/sp]
That, and [sp]they're all dead from the Mass Relay going goodbye.[/sp]

It would have been great, if they hadn't just cut it off when [sp]Shepard wakes up[/sp]
Wait, so if you call it off with Miranda [sp]She dies in the Sanctuary mission? Even if she was loyal in ME2? It would have been great, if they hadn't just cut it off when [sp]Shepard wakes up[/sp]
Yeah but the developers really could have thought of something better than that. It's more of a lazy excuse to get another try at making an ending. Well, unless they truly wanted the most complete metagaming experience ever achieved by an RPG. In that case, they have succeeded. I felt like absolute shit, and still do, after beating the game and I have no intention of playing any games from the franchise for a long time.
This is what should of happened after the credits
I was reading Bioware forums and people were comenting about this in a thread about Joker's hidden files: [sp]"After the attack on Palavan, the Citadel is filled with panicked refugees. It only gets worse when an explosion destroys a major building and leaves dozens dead. You track down the culprit and learn that hanar religious extremists have sided with the Reapers. Commander Bailey places every hanar on the Citadel into internment camps for security reasons. You discover the existence of a Reaper base within the Hanar systems." Is that really in the game files? So the mission regarding the Hanar Ambassador we would probably be a mission at the homeworld of the hanar/drell?[/sp]
Someone has been on BSN.
I wish there was a way to ask Casey Hudson about the endings. I really want a comment from the producer or some writer, on the ending theory.
I wish there was a way to ask Casey Hudson about the endings. I really want a comment from the producer or some writer, on the ending theory.
Hopefully they're too busy working on some new endings seeing how these ones went.
Hopefully they're too busy working on some new endings seeing how these ones went.
Well, if the theory is correct, then there wasn't even any ending at all. [sp] as in Shepard never actually passed through the conduit. So the Reapers are still on Earth.[/sp]
[sp] Ah yes, "closure". We have dismissed that claim [/sp]
Krogan sentinel with all health/shield buffs is awesome
[sp]You have to warn her about Kei Lang or whatever his name is, otherwise she will die yes.[/sp]
I am aware of that, I saved her in the first playthrough. I talked to her all 3 times, by call it off I mean end the romance with her.
Well, if the theory is correct, then there wasn't even any ending at all. [sp] as in Shepard never actually passed through the conduit. So the Reapers are still on Earth.[/sp]
I believe the theory is that [sp] Shep doesn't get to the citadel but everything is twisted by the hallucinations caused by his indoctrination. Control and Synthesis are both bad endings as you have let the reapers live and so their indoctrination has broken your will. the destroy means you have broken free from the indoctrination. Therefore explaining why the secret ending shows Shep waking up on what I would say is possibly still on the citadel on back in London when the reaper beam hits him. So yer, reapers still there and Bioware would have to release dlc or a free update to give true ending [/sp]

[/sp]
[sp]It must be London. There wouldn't be such a loud sound of wind on the citadel. And since you can't survive re-entry through the atmosphere, we can only realistically assume he never left Earth at all[/sp]
[sp]It must be London, or some other place on earth. There wouldn't be such a loud sound of wind on the citadel.
[sp] Ah yes, "closure". We have dismissed that claim [/sp]
I just find quotes like this horribly depressing:
Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C. - Casey Hudson
Well that's funny, because A, B or C is EXACTLY what we got.
Just finishes. All I can say is, what the fuck?
I just find quotes like this horribly depressing: Well that's funny, because A, B or C is EXACTLY what we got.
Where did that quote come from?
