Wait so [sp] The whole fucking galatic armada is now stuck inside sols' solar system? or am I wrong. Seeing how all the mass relays are gone, intergalatic travel is no longer short term. All the armada has to live in sol? Also how the fuck were joker and them going through a mass relay, and garrus and Liara were on earth moments before I got beamed up,[/sp] The endings are just full retard... Also Ninja/samurai fighters? were the browsing Deviant art when they made this?
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that [sp]the ending sequence after Harbinger shoots you is a "Test of Wills" dream sequence in which Shepard mentally fights the effects of indoctrination. It would explain a lot, such as: - I suddenly have a pistol with unlimited ammo - I'm suddenly wearing a different set of burnt armor - Harbinger pays no attention to the fact I'm getting up - My squadmates teleport to the Normandy - Anderson makes it to the Crucible, completely unharmed - Illusive Man is somehow there - "Indoctrination Effects" are overlayed on the screen whenever Shepard fights against the Reaper's desire. - Destroy is suddenly Renegade, while Control is Paragon. This is completely counter to the rest of the series.[/sp] Food for thought.
[sp]I think Destroy is paragon because it would still be counter to a paragon's beliefs, genocide isn't exactly something most people are fond of, even if its a race of assholes.[/sp]
[sp]I think Destroy is paragon because it would still be counter to a paragon's beliefs, genocide isn't exactly something most people are fond of, even if its a race of assholes.[/sp]
No he's saying the color that they are presented as [sp]Control is blue, and destroy is red[/sp]
[sp]I think Destroy is paragon because it would still be counter to a paragon's beliefs, genocide isn't exactly something most people are fond of, even if its a race of assholes.[/sp]
[sp]Right, but "Control" removes life's characteristic of free will, which a Paragon is ADAMANTLY against. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Geth will Die" stuff is a complete lie to get Shepard to choose something else.[/sp]
One more thing I forgot to rage about - [sp]Kai Leng and the other Cerberus' ninjas. I mean.. what the HELL? Ninjas in my Mass Effect. It's like someone at brainstorming came and said: "Hey, you know what our game's missing? NINJAS!" - "Hell YEAH, man! Ninjas are so cool! We'll put them in!" and they just kept adding shit that didn't make any sense for ME series managing to piss off 70% of their fan-base as the final product. I wish those ninja guys were just a bad joke. Because that's exactly how it feels. Someone had a good point earlier that Shepard almost single-handledly pacified a goddamn Reaper and then just gets embarassed by some Chinese dope? Come on..[/sp]
[sp]Kai Leng looks like Adam Jensen[/sp]
What if you never left tron world and joker is right?
The [sp]hallucination/indoctrination theories are gaining a lot of traction.[/sp]

What if you never left tron world and joker is right?
You know a game's ending is good when it's fanbase is resorting to fathoming up the most ridiculous explanations to understand it.
You know a game's ending is good when it's fanbase is resorting to fathoming up the most ridiculous explanations to understand it.
Oh it's batshit crazy, no question there. It's just odd how much sense it actually makes when you look at some of the evidence presented. [sp]Would also explain that special ending where, if you're good enough, Shepard appears to take a breath in what looks a hell of a lot like the ruin of London.[/sp]
You know a game's ending is good when it's fanbase is resorting to fathoming up the most ridiculous explanations to understand it.
I honestly don't think that the [sp]indoctrination[/sp] theory is all that ridiculous.
Guys, I came up with a great ending. Mass Effect is all a fanfiction by Harbinger because he is such a huge fan of Shepard. And Harbinger isn't a reaper. He's a giant peace squid insect alien.
snip
I'm debating on whether to get the crappy ending with 56% galactic readiness, or play the multiplayer and get the good ending with 100% galactic readiness. I think that the whole galactic readiness deal was stupid on bioware's part.
I honestly don't think that the [sp]indoctrination[/sp] theory is all that ridiculous.
Well the illusive man did have you rebuilt, and he was indoctrinated for a long time. He said that he restored you without modifications, but do you really think he wouldn't lie about making a few 'adjustments'? Also if Zaheed survived, does that mean we play as him in the next game?
Also I just noticed this;

[sp]Right, but "Control" removes life's characteristic of free will, which a Paragon is ADAMANTLY against. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Geth will Die" stuff is a complete lie to get Shepard to choose something else.[/sp]
That really annoyed me. [sp]How would the Geth be killed exactly? The reaper upgrades makes the Crucible 'know' that they're sythetics? Why would it destroy "all synthetic life"? And why was Shepard in danger? As far as I know his implants had no Reaper tech, sure the thing blowing up in his face could kill him, but the Crucible itself?[/sp] There are so many holes with the endings, I mean holy shit.
[sp]Right, but "Control" removes life's characteristic of free will, which a Paragon is ADAMANTLY against. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Geth will Die" stuff is a complete lie to get Shepard to choose something else.[/sp]
[sp]I think it wasn't a lie, because EDI still died in that ending.[/sp]
Did any other paragon players [sp] completely ignore the two renegade options when TIM shoots Anderson then yourself, only to find that you get a critical mission failure? Moral of the story? [/sp]
[sp]I think it wasn't a lie, because EDI still died in that ending.[/sp]
I honestly don't know what to believe. Everything contradicts, and there's plot holes that put ME2 to shame.
[sp]I think it wasn't a lie, because EDI still died in that ending.[/sp]
[sp]But there is the possibility it didn't actually happen, and it's just what Shepard is lead to believe will happen. Since he was unconscious.[/sp]
[sp] - I'm suddenly wearing a different set of burnt armor[/sp]
[sp] when shepard is shown to be alive after the destroy ending he is wearing the same melted/destroyed armor he was when he reached the beam so that pretty much disproves that he was "waking up" from his dream/indoctrination still on earth.[/sp]
I haven't finished the game yet, but just couldn't hold myself so I read about all the endings... asfn.afm, asczxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Edit: Why did they even do that, all endings are [sp]bad endings in my eyes, losing your whole damn team and getting the relays blown up... wow[/sp].
That really annoyed me. [sp]How would the Geth be killed exactly? The reaper upgrades makes the Crucible 'know' that they're sythetics? As far as I know his implants had no Reaper tech, sure the thing blowing up in his face could kill him, but the Crucible itself?[/sp] There are so many holes with the endings, I mean holy shit.
Because... [sp]bioware let a hamburger write the ending[/sp]
Did any other paragon players [sp] completely ignore the two renegade options when TIM shoots Anderson then yourself, only to find that you get a critical mission failure? Moral of the story? [/sp]
Renegade in ME3 is a lot more about being daring and taking the initiative, rather than ME2 where you were just being a dick for the hell of it. As a paragon I used all the renegade options when I thought they fit, [sp]punched Han'Gerrel in the gut, dickhead.[/sp]
Because... [sp]bioware let a hamburger write the ending[/sp]
I doubt it, there was very little gay sex in the ending.
[sp] when shepard is shown to be alive after the destroy ending he is wearing the same melted/destroyed armor he was when he reached the beam so that pretty much disproves that he was "waking up" from his dream/indoctrination still on earth.[/sp]
[sp]Not really, they cut back animations for memory issues. So I can see them making one "burnt armor" model. And that rubble is definitely not Citadel material, and there is wind blowing.[/sp]
You know a game's ending is good when it's fanbase is resorting to fathoming up the most ridiculous explanations to understand it.
I was being completely tongue in cheek
[sp]Another hole in the indoctrination theory is that...if Shepard only wakes up if you choose "Destroy" and you have enough EWS points...then everyone else had the Reapers win.[/sp]
And they let a fat chick write twilight too.
[sp] when shepard is shown to be alive after the destroy ending he is wearing the same melted/destroyed armor he was when he reached the beam so that pretty much disproves that he was "waking up" from his dream/indoctrination still on earth.[/sp]
No it doesn't.
