Tali and Garrus were the other two thirds of what I call THE BRO BRIGADE Joker's triumph over the collectors made him an honorary member
Sorry, but was this posted? Spoilers by the way.
To be honest, I would be pretty bummed out if that was the ending too. It's so guddamn predictable. But it's better than what we have in the game right now.[sp]For a machine of that scale, and that it's blueprints have been passed down from cycle to the next[/sp], if that's all it did, that would be pretty lackluster. [sp]In my opinion, the ending should have played out nearly the same but without the stupid ghost child, and without the Synthesis choice, because that one is totally outlandish (I laughed so hard my sides hurt when I saw the leaves in the jungle glow because they were half synthetic.). Also, Joker wouldn't be in FTL while the crucible is deployed because that was moronic, so no stranded on some random jungle planet. Then finally, the Mass Relays and Citadel will remain intact after your decision. The catalyst will just be the Citadel so there's no need for ghost children. In replace of the ghost child, it would be the voice of Harbinger, because right now, he literally has no role in ME3's story. Why they dropped him so fast after ME2, is beyond me. His cameo in ME3 was pretty much just "oh hai humans, i herd u like lazors!" then you never see or hear him again. Also no fucking epilogue, that was dumb as fuck.[/sp] [sp]All those war assets you collected could also factor in to how far your Shepard makes it in the final battle. So maybe you could permanently die in different sequences like a cinematic during the final stretch depending on how many war assets you have. Then the game would load back before the assault on the Ceberus base and would give you a notification telling you need more war assets. The requirements wouldn't be too large to get to, so people who didn't feel like doing every single one of those fetch quests aren't totally fucked. Finally, once you meet the highest war asset amount requirement, Shepard would finally make it to the bitter end, and that would convince Harbinger, that organics aren't just a mutation of blood and flesh. Therefore he would give Shepard the option to either, control the Reapers, destroy them or just say fuck it and Shepard blows his brains out. Blowing his brains out would just be a instant failure for shits and giggles. Control will actually be Renegade and destroy will actually be Paragon, like it should've been. [/sp] Anyways, that's my two cents, and I'm sure it has a bunch of holes. But it beats the dumbness of the endings right now.
If you don't you end up where I was in my first play through. Something like 3800 instead of getting over 4000.
I did it right, and I didn't get over 4000 EMS at 50% Readiness. Probably about missing the from Ashes DLC and missing a few opportunities. Would've gotten in the 5000 if I had played any multiplayer though.
-snip0-
I'm just angry this conversation was partially cut out of the ending. I posted it earlier, but damn it's good. Spoilers, obviously.

I played MP but my whole experience was more or less just me being kicked from the lobby. Not really interested in MP anyways, especially in a game I play for the SP story.

And Remove the fucking readiness multiplier. it's bullshit. In fact, they should've set the readiness at 100%, and depending on how much you play multiplayer, you actually GET A BONUS instead of a Debuff.
What kind of commander was shep...then?
Given the triple bars on Shepard's dress uniform, he's actually technically a captain
this video kinda clears things up
this video kinda clears things up
It does if the INDOCTRINATION THEORY IS RIGHT. People are in such denial of the ending they assume the ending was all a dream. There's no physical hint before the ending that shephard would've suffered any indoctrination in the past to begin with. I'm 100% sure this indoctrination thing isn't what Bioware planned. [sp]Besides, if it was an indoctrination really happened during that part, then the game is far from over. The Reapers would still be around and destroying the Earth, and the Crucible never fucking worked. It's an even worse ending because Shephard failed at the task and the Reapers have probably destroyed the Citadel/Crucible and doomed all civilization. [/sp]
[sp]Should of shot twice quickly or else Anderson would of lived, the ending I got was everything being wiped out, sad, and the Normandy surviving on the planet, with a door opening, why wasn't their four choices to choose from....I forgot something, also I don't remember if I can save in the citadel.[/sp] Also need help importing a save for ME3. Do I have put Char in front of the me2 save? Save_0225.pcsav is a file
People are in such denial of the ending they assume the ending was all a dream.
Scrotie McBoogerballs syndrome.
It does if the INDOCTRINATION THEORY IS RIGHT. People are in such denial of the ending they assume the ending was all a dream.
People are just spitballing things. Stop getting so upset.
Not upset, just saying that the indoctrination ending is a theory and nothing more. It shouldn't clear anything up.
Not upset, just saying that the indoctrination ending is a theory and nothing more. It shouldn't clear anything up.
If Bioware had intended it to be indoctrination they would've made it far more obvious. It really is just another sad attempt at convincing themselves that the ending(s) we were given must be fake or have a deeper meaning.
i love how there was a total oh shit moment when you saw the [sp]destinctive glowing eyes of harbinger before you get lazered[/sp] and then they kill it by doing nothing with it
What if we were indoctrinated to think the ending was an indoctrination?
this video kinda clears things up
This video misses so many more awesome points and arguments that support this theory. But even here it all made a lot of sense. [sp]Why couldn't we ask questions to Kid-alyst? And he clearly was able to clear things up. I mean, even souverign answered some questions, and he was in no way that friendly or even neutral.[/sp]
What if we were indoctrinated to think the ending was an indoctrination?
Those god damn BioReapers. [editline]12th March 2012[/editline]
This video misses so many more awesome points and arguments that support this theory. But even here it all made a lot of sense. Anyway, the theory doesn't work because it still dooms the entire world.
I got a imported save, with a character named Paul_30_Infiltrator, but with other saves like me3 it has some numbers and a letter. Not sure what to do next.
No wait I got it This is all a VR Nilus set up to see how we'd do as a spectre

i'll be pretty pissed off if i find out there was some artistic choice bioware made that pissed everyone off. it's the briefcase from Pulp Fiction all fucking over again
No wait I got it This is all a VR Nilus set up to see how we'd do as a spectre
OMG!
People are so shocked by the ending that they believe THEY are in some kind of dream after paying $70 dollars for that ending, appa
I paid $60 for a good singleplayer RPG with a good bit of replayability and an extremely fun coop experience v:v:v

I wish Verner was a squadmate in ME3 it would've been so damn awesome
[sp]Anyone else able to see why BW didn't go with the dark matter ending? Its just to easy to comprehend. They need to solve something and they don't want to fuck around with organizing civilizations so fuck it, just put them together and make them think. At least the to destroy organic life has a measure of why to it? Why the fuck does it have to be this way? Why is this the only solution. It has meaning but the entire logic behind it isn't as easily understood.[/sp]
If Joker doesn't [sp]walk out at the end of the game... it means he died, right?[/sp]
