Also another weirdness with then ending is that [sp] Anderson appears to be controlled by TIM or Harbinger as he says he can't use the terminal [/sp].
Any ideas?
I've been listening to all the credits music non stop after finishing the game.
All us being upset about the [sp] 'not being with squad endings' [/sp] just shows Bioware succeeded. Succeeded in making a world and people we care about. Succeeded in making a game like no other.
I would like to say thanks Bioware, thanks for one kick ass journey.
I would call the Mass Effect serie easily the best serie I have ever played. Even with the dodgy ending it still scores way better than any other serie.
Ending spoilers
[sp]To be honest, i don't really want a ending where Shepard survives. The series just doesn't feel like something you would walk away from. It feels right that he sacrifices himself. I do however, hope that the current ending was indoctrination and that the true ending to the Reapers is different.[/sp]
[sp]I always feel that in series where the enemy is made out to be so much more powerful than the protagonists (like Reapers vs... everyone) that it's almost the dignified thing to do to kill the main character at the end. I mean imagine how pussyish it'd seem if Shepard defeated the Reapers, and then 3 years later was killed be a merc, or got cancer and succumbed to it. It'd seem so... stupid. Shepard retains that larger than life persona if it took something seen to be almost as powerful as a malevolent god to kill him.[/sp]
It feels like Bioware made the endings as vague as possible just to leave the backdoor open for later games so they can milk the franchise.
[sp]That said. I also fucking hate losing a character I've come to get so attached to. Fucking conflicting thoughts![/sp]
I just thought of something.
[sp]At the end, when you choose one of the three endings, and it starts going through the flashbacks with Joker and Anderson and then whoever you romanced in ME1, I think it should show whoever you romanced in ME2/3 as well. Just to add depth to it.
Plus I thought it would be really deep/emotional to see, if you romanced Tali in ME2/3, to see what Shepard saw in ME2. Tali without her faceplate. That, I think, would be an immensely powerful flashback.[/sp]

I wanted to see all of them. Joker, Garrus, Grunt, Jack, Miranda, Tali, etc.

Talk to the merchant, gtfo the citadel and look at the newest mission in the kite's nest system.

I don't think it's a glitch. I'm pretty sure it shows whoever you romanced in Mass Effect 1, because I've seen it show Liara, Ashley, and IIRC Kaiden as well.

Well since it is a Turian watching it burn, it would be the world for them.

Not necessarily. Just like they might not call their satellites 'moons', or their stars 'suns'. It's just something humans do when they write sci-fis because it's, well, easier.

Good point. That never occurred to me.

The Geth-Spitfire. Quite a nice gun, but terrible at long range.
It isn't supposed to be used at long range :v:
Notice how the Spitfire is only located in places with a Geth Prime.
Hint hint hint
Who cares that it's not long range? It's ROF increases the longer you hold down the trigger!

Go speak to the salarian guy at the weapons shop (opposite edge of courtyard thing to apollos cafe).. he says he wants artifacts... go to normandy.. go to bottom right of galaxy (it should have some objective about collecting an artifact)... mine the planet.. come back..).. renegades get the easy way out of just topping him i guess [/sp]
Best mission in the game IMO
[sp]Quarians acted like huge idiots for centuries and finally Gerrel snapped and lost his mind. From my point of view the Geth are much more deserving of life[/sp]
But the Turians and Salarians fucked over the Krogan acting like Genocidal idiots, the Krogan themselves started going around declaring war to everyone. I don't understand how are the Quarians less deserving of peace and tranquility then the other races, because they bullied synthetics they created themselves, and which rebelled against them.
Edit:
Even humans have had their dark spots. But should they get fucked over for retaking Earth?
I was like, shit how am I going to take out all these geth prime... hey whats this?
4 geth prime dead in like 20 seconds.
But those Banshees were the only enemies I did not look forward to fighting. It's the fact that you have to run.

I think this can accurately describe what happened.

Also, what's this important piece of lore that Javik reveals? Tried searching for it on BSN and Youtube but couldn't find it. Or is it just that [sp]Protheans helped Asari develop? [/sp]Cause that's pretty much revealed on Thessia anyway.
Yeah, apparently it's a bug and the only solution I found was restarting the mission (Menu -> Load -> "Restart Mission" or something - it's one of the saves, throws you back to when you entered the Citadel the last time).
Oh dear.
I've continued to play after this.
Essentially I'm screwed, right?

The Eclipse don't give you that many assets to make you worry about it if I recall.

Defending the Thanix missilelaunchers near the end was hellish until I realized you can hide from the Reapers beam behind the buildings, dodging 3-4 Banshees, Marauders and the beam was...interesting.

You can also lead the Reaper beam into the Banshees and Brutes to instantly kill them.
