You know things are bad when biodrones start attacking bioware.
Creations... attacking their creators...? By God the ending is canon in real life.

[sp]Okay, so I hate the ending alot less thanks to the indoctrination theory. I just have the intuition that you are indoctrinated at the end.[/sp]
[sp]Okay, so I hate the ending alot less thanks to the indoctrination theory. I just have the intuition that you are indoctrinated at the end.[/sp]
Welcome to the club, brother.
oh god I'm describing the endings to a friend of mine who's a die hard fan of the series since the first one, but won't be getting the third... It's like telling someone santa's not real, he's dying
I really wish that the forces you acquire made appearances in the final push towards the [sp]Citadel Beam[/sp]. Imagine Geth falling from the sky saying "Do you require assistance, Shepard-Commander?" Or Grunt and Aralakh Company showing up and beating down a bunch of the Rachni Reapers, or Krogans on those Kakliosaurs that you cloned.
Or those fucking rad Elcor Tanks.
They definitely missed an opportunity there.
They definitely missed an opportunity there.
Murderously: Ingest some of this, Reaper scum.
[sp]The indoctrination theory is very plausible and makes a lot of sense, and as much as I hope that its true, my gut is telling me not to get my hopes up as this doesn't really seem like something Bioware would do. I've been disappointed too much by them already (DA2, TOR, ME3's ending) to have any hope that this was all their original plan.[/sp]
I feel like I've just killed a man I explained the [sp]Synthesis[/sp] ending and he honestly just went speechless [editline]13th March 2012[/editline]
[sp]The indoctrination theory is very plausible and makes a lot of sense, and as much as I hope that its true, my gut is telling me not to get my hopes up as this doesn't really seem like something Bioware would do. [sp]Seeing as how they really changed ME2 with Shadow Broker and Arrival, I think it's safe to say that the ending is not set in stone at all. They've got to say something about it soon, though, and make whatever plans worth the grief that's been caused through this whole ordeal.[/sp]
oh god I'm describing the endings to a friend of mine who's a die hard fan of the series since the first one, but won't be getting the third... It's like telling someone santa's not real, he's dying
He should still play it. I thought the game was fantastic up until the last five-ten minutes. You just have to[sp] pretend that the indoctrination theory is real[/sp].
Has anyone else saved before Going to Earth, then put the game of indefinitely? I'll... I'll.. I'll play it when it's finished.
I feel like I've just killed a man I explained the [sp]Synthesis[/sp] ending and he honestly just went speechless
Just show him the video on youtube.
He should still play it. I thought the game was fantastic up until the last five-ten minutes. You just have to[sp] pretend that the indoctrination theory is real[/sp].
I've crushed his soul though :C
If they do DLC retcon, they'll do the [sp]Indoctrination[/sp] theory then claim it was theirs all along, I call it now
Or perhaps it was their intention all along.
Or perhaps it was their intention all along.
then I'd be pretty fucking pissed that they intentionally left the ending shitty for DLC? no company would do that
oh god I'm describing the endings to a friend of mine who's a die hard fan of the series since the first one, but won't be getting the third... It's like telling someone santa's not real, he's dying
Make him a delicious meal, like the best meal he's ever had, then hit him in the face with a frying pan. Then he'll understand ME3's endings.
Make him a delicious meal, like the best meal he's ever had, then hit him in the face with a frying pan. Then he'll understand ME3's endings.
best analogy I've heard
Or perhaps it was their intention all along.
I'm quite doubtful of that. While i completely support the theory myself, i don't honestly think it was ever their plan. They would have included slightly more proof if that was the case. Alot can be explained with the theory, but the only concrete proof it has, is the [sp]Destroy Shepard alive cinematic[/sp] which can still also be something else. It's also only in one of the endings. If indoctrination was true, every ending would have had something similar in some way.
Part of me thinks (and hopes) that they will release DLC [sp]about the indoctrination theory and redo the ending[/sp]. But the other part of me thinks they won't. Think about it [sp]They have to get everybody's voice actors back, redo cinematics, rewrite the story, and admit that they sold a game with a false ending. I really hope that this was their plan all along and redo the ending, but I really doubt they will[/sp]
then I'd be pretty fucking pissed that they intentionally left the ending shitty for DLC? no company would do that
Oh I 100% agree, I was just joking when I said that :P I would be very disappointed in Bioware if they did that.
Any summary pages of all the endings? I just finished up and I'd like to read how mine fared against others.
Has anyone else saved before Going to Earth, then put the game of indefinitely? I'll... I'll.. I'll play it when it's finished.
when you finish the game it puts you back to before the cerberus base.
Any summary pages of all the endings? I just finished up and I'd like to read how mine fared against others.
All the endings are mostly the same. Not much to compare other than [sp]Control, Synthesis, Destroy. I chose control, and ever since i discovered the indoctrination theory, i've regretted it.[/sp]
Any summary pages of all the endings? I just finished up and I'd like to read how mine fared against others.
They're all the same
Geth Flier question [sp]Was anyone else wondering if the memories that Legion showed you were all actually from one of the 1183 Geth in his platform? The way he responds when you reply to some of them just seem to only apply to him, for example his sniper rifle response.[/sp]
They're all the same
No, they are not.
