Can a collection of electric signals sent down a wire achieve a point where it's lost half of its radiological activity?
Any reason why its not letting me connect to the MP? I own BF3 and all.
Just to the holstering issue. I don't really feel it's a big problem but because it's has such a small functionality I'm surprised the consoles can't handle it. Does it really require that much RAM?

I believe animations take up a lot of space.
Them cutting that might mean that the game will be nice and expansive, though I haven't read the entirety of the script.

Yeah you know science metaphors in a science fiction thread.
ITT: A foreigner explaining you your language.

No, I was actually asking. No need to get so defensive, man.

Decided to try my own go at the banner to help Tuskin with his horizon line. Dunno if there is any use since it is more of a logo, but thought you all would like to see it.
Put the Facepunch symbol in the empty space under the V17 :v:
So has there been an early demo release for PS3/PC players? 360 is the only current-gen platform I don't own. :v:

Dead pan doesn't work over the internet I guess.

Not that I know of, no. PS3 might be getting something, but I'd be lying if I said I thought that was very likely.
Someone is streaming the mp demo here: http://de.twitch.tv/deinonychus
I really need some people to play this with. It's pretty hard alone.

it's like i'm really playing diablo
It's actually a pretty clever system because it's divided into two categories (veteran and recruit) and the items are completely random. I'm not sure if the "uncommons" will be a good thing, because unique or rare items usually create greed. I know Call of Duty is frowned upon here, but when I still played it (COD4 was the last one) the fun levelling up and getting new weapons was great. Prevented the game from becoming stale for a very long time for me. If you can customize your class even better, but who can tell this now? I guess the early MP mode won't allow us to see the game in it's true glory.

Now does credits mean in game currency from playing MP, or some sort of bought currency?
Someone is streaming the mp demo here: http://de.twitch.tv/deinonychus
Playing Krogan looks fun, but I want to see some Asari adept or Human Infiltrator.
Fuck you bioware, i'm this close to cancelling my pre-order.
I'd recommend you don't
I mean how many good games are likely to come out in Q1/2 so soon
Now does credits mean in game currency from playing MP, or some sort of bought currency?
Im playing MP and im not getting any credits. I think its credits from SP.

Just watch the MP stream, credits pop up occasionally and seem to be free. At least I hope so.
Im playing MP and im not getting any credits. I think its credits from SP.
I think you need to win a mission to get them.
Alright, im heading off my computer. If anyone gets their xbox demo MP working, you know who to add.
So the running total of hoops to jump through to get all the content in Mass Effect 3:
Getting "all the content in a game" is kind of a pipe dream in this day and age. Not really worth it for most games unless they're offline only.
Wait the multiplayer demo has started already?

Aww man come on, we wouldn't even have to answer the same old questions all the time if people would read the last page on their own.
Don't be a square, get in the stream:
Yeah except I could just watch a playthrough to find out what happens in the story. Fuckit I might as well just rent the damned thing.
Seriously, there's no way in hell i'll be able to play through the game without thinking "if only i'd bought THIS thing then my experience would be complete" since, try as I might, i'm not a fucking millionaire that can buy every godammed fucking piece of shit dlc that bioware decide to pump out of their putrid decaying hamburger helping waste of a shitty romance writing excuse for arses.
Is it really that big of deal? I mean, isn't most of the preorder DLC is just a couple new guns or some crappy-looking armor? The only DLC I got for ME2 was the special armor you got for buying Dragon Age, and I never even used it. And I could give even less of a damn about new guns, most of them feel the same and no one buys Mass Effect games for the gunplay.
I don't like preorder DLC, but I don't really mind how Bioware does it. Preordering gives you a nice little bonus, but it's not like LA Noire where you miss out on entire missions if you don't preorder it from some specific retailer.

I agree that some weapons and armor aren't a big deal, but that "exclusive character" included in the collector's edition pre-order may cause some immense rage depending on what it is...
Watching the stream, seems like MPs pretty fun.
Oh fuck you Bioware.
So the running total of hoops to jump through to get all the content in Mass Effect 3:
- Pre-order N7 Edition
- Pre-order from gamestop
- Play KoA Demo
- Finish KoA Demo
- Play ME3 Demo
- Buy ME3 Statues
- Buy a bunch of crates and hope you get good items.
Fuck you bioware, i'm this close to cancelling my pre-order.
I don't know why you're whining about the KoA Demo when it's freeeeeee.
I don't know why you're whining about the KoA Demo when it's freeeeeee.
I conclude his argument was merely that you have to do perform a number of superfluous tasks to achieve access to a number of costless accessories.
