Okay why do you have to be such an ass to begin with? We know your stance, I agree with it, no need to force it down everyone's throat. I'm not going to buy a DLC that changes the ending unless it adds considerable content, anyway. It's been a few days I've completed the game, I still feel like shit, but I can't deny the indoctrination theory is pretty well funded and hilarious too. Even if they worked with that theory, they'd still look like idiots because the community came up with it first and they'd admit they didn't sell the complete game. Plus, I don't know if they could charge for a DLC if that's the case, because anyone who bought the game are entitled to the ending.
Seriously! There are several things I have problems with in ME3, and I am fanboy because I have faith in Bioware? Wtf?
youtube comment Child: Did that all really happen? Old Man: Yes, but some of the real endings were lost in time. It all happened so very long ago. Child: When can I see the real ending? Old Man: ....one day my sweet. Child: What will be there? Old Man: Any ending you can imagine... our game has millions of fans. Each of those endings, can have real closure... that real closure, could please real* fans... and every fan will have their special story of their own.
I completely agree with you. They're releasing a game, which has actively been marketed as finishing an entire series with a very climactic ending, only to have the ending only be effectively half done. Not even really ready. It's competely wrong. I'll only buy any DLC if it's related to the ending. Then im completely done with bioware. The fact that they've forced you to pay them to finish the entire series the way you want to is unacceptable to me.
So you are done with Bioware because EA has control of their marketing model? I guess people don't understand how being a subsidiary of a large corp that sells products usually works in the video game industry.
Congratulation You have beaten a grate game Love bioware
And then a big pat on the back as this shows up.
So you are done with Bioware because EA has control of their marketing model? I guess people don't understand how being a subsidiary of a large corp that sells products usually works in the video game industry.
The problem is that EA has problems with not putting their long corrupted tentacles all over game companies we love. It's hard not to blame EA when we've heard of how they treat their workers in the past.
Just finished. I'm assuming this is what's on everyone's mind- I'd have been good with the ending if it had atleast given some closure, even in the form of a slideshow like the Dragon Age one. Really enjoyed the rest of the game aside from that though. Also I'm looking for a video series on youtube of Mass Effect 2 videos with ridiculous situations, such as shepard having a Keeper model as his body, having a giant head, being small, etc. and I figured this would be the best place to ask if anyone can find them for me

I JUST finished ME3 so now I know exactly what everyone means by a shitty ending. And after the credits? I mean come on I have seen that image all over Google, isn't it a wallpaper for fuck sakes? Doesn't help that they already did this with Tali's face so Bioware really dropped the ball. But come on! Three games promising so many choices and multiple endings and it all comes down to that? For those who have beaten it you know I'm talking about the [sp]three choices that decide how the game ends[/sp]. It's so freaking disappointing....
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mass-effect-3-datapad/id506847903?mt=8 Mass Effect 3 Datapad companion app is pretty sweet, and free.
"What do you mean 'my next bed time story will cost money', Grandpa?"
Now you're nicely going to think back about all the plot holes, find yourself even more confused, read the indoctrination theory and get some hope for the ending DLC. Welcome to the Club, homie.
I guess the best thing to come out of this so far is the Charity Drive on the BSN. At least some people will be happy.

It's just horde mode with 3 different enemies.

The Mass Effect series, that just ended on a pretty bad note. The Old Republic series, which I've heard the MMO is not a big success. I don't really know what's next in Bioware's agenda, but I'm not sure I'll be interested in it.
As someone who paid over 60 bucks for this, I think I have a right to a complete product. And when some guy comes along and tells me everything will be alright if I just buy more DLC when it comes out, I think it's pretty understandable that I'm a little annoyed by that. This is about more than this shitty ending, and if you defend the release of unfinished games, I don't see why I should respect someone who supports that. And me being an ass for using the word fanboy? Grow up.
Seriously! There are several things I have problems with in ME3, and I am fanboy because I have faith in Bioware? Wtf?
No, im trying to keep my faith in bioware too. But things are looking really bleak.

And this is the internet, you don't need to respect anyone, just don't expect anyone to pay attention to what you say if you treat everyone like shit.
I would be disappointed in bioware if the true ending dlc cost money, you never know they may be good and give it for free. Until then I'm cool with waiting.

I am annoyed just like you are. And now you are telling me to grow up because you don't know how to be respectful towards other people's opinions? Stop being an ass, and for the love of god stop putting words in my mouth and assuming that I support everything bioware has done with Mass Effect 3, or Bioware themsevles. Seems like you are the one who need to be growing up a bit.

A shame, I would have loved to be able to read the codex entries wherever I wanted. Perfect toilet reads etc
In a more pressing matter: my laptop stopped working this afternoon and won't turn back on. Not only can I not play mass effect I have a horrible sinking feeling that if I can't get it working I've LOST MY MASS EFFECT SAVE FILES FOREVER! FFFFFUUUUUU!!!!
Calling someone a fanboy is now equal to treating them like shit? Wow.

Writing something instead of rating may also be something to consider if you want to bring up growing up and respect and all that. I don't respect people that respond to anything I say with "hurr ur dumb" either, I'm sure you understand that.

And you are STILL going on about this.

Anyway, the lack of respect is something mutual.
