As far as superfluous tasks go, trying a demo for a surprisingly decent game is one of the better ways to go around it. I hope EA continues with this kind of cross-promotion in the future. It's harmless and pleasant marketing, and it rewards the players regardless of whether or not they enjoyed the demo.
Ahhh, Uni pays me £384 randomly for no reason this thursday. Something tells me to buy Collector's Edition for £60. Something else tells me to get the regular version, although Collector's does seem like it has a lot of content. Originally I wanted a new monitor but I could wait for reductions at around £120. I dunno D:
The Multiplayer looks fun, but it doesn't seem like something i'd play for more than a few days.
Multiplayer seems cool but I don't expect it to translate well for the PC.
The controls, interface and mechanics are all designed around a console and controller.
You can't even change individual X and Y aim sensitivities on the console - you just have a camera sensitivity option like in Mass Effect 2.
So im playing ME2 And holy FUCK this game is awesome. I just did the part where you meet up with ArchAngel and have an epic defense moment, but then the gunship came, TOO BAD I SABOTAGED IT. Felt like a fucking badass.

I would. It is not like you are going to make foam and plastic weapons to wear on your back with it. People will get the reference if they played it, and others who hate video games will just ignore it.
I really won't feel like I'm missing out if I don't pre-order or get a collectors edition, its a just a few guns, I'd probably never use them anyways.

I bought the Collectors Edition for the soundtrack alone. For those of you who have yet to experience the demo...dear god in heaven, the music is FANTASTIC.
I mostly got it for the art book and the soundtrack. Besides, a new character and set of weapons is always nice.

Do you honestly have to ask? Yes! It's, I think, the best made hoody I've ever gotten (the older one was at the time, and the newer one is even better than it was), it has about 5 pockets (which is good, 'cause I love pockets), it's warm as all hell, and it looks awesome.

I've already played a bit of ME1 yesterday. I must say, Hale's voice acting was better in ME1, at least it sounds like she's trying. Come time for ME2 it doesn't seem like she gives a shit anymore.

It really is remarkable how much Meer improves with each installment. His acting in Mass Effect 3 is fantastic, from what I've seen.

PC will arrive at 10am PST and will require Origin.
Xbox 360 will arrive at 2am PST
PS3 will arrive at 4pm PST
