Oh my god I love this so much. It is the best.
I swear to god people are really dumb in regards to extraction in multiplayer, it's always one of the lower points players trying to get a tiny bit more of points and we always get partial extraction
I always picture them going "LEAVE ME BEHIND FRIENDS, I WILL STOP THE ADVANCING ENEMY SO THAT YOU CAN SAFELY EXTRACT, GOOD BYE."
...Alright that's it. I'm done writing this shit.
I'm going to go sleep, do my homework, succed in school and live a good healthy socially accetable life.
/goes back to writing.
Jeremy Jahns commenting on the ending. Spoilers obviously.

I like his Garrus impression. Pretty good IMO.
One of my professors kinda sounds like Garrus but without the flanger, ofc.
Well playing GAW gives you better endings anyway. So keep playing multiplayer, just for that. Though I enjoy a good round of it. Since I never barely played at LANS.
And Jeremy, I think he/she lives, if that breathing shepard easter egg appeared. So nuh!
[sp]You know, they can build technology, when earth survives, reapers are destroyed, and find a new way to get to planets[/sp]
Despite the endings and the DLC's the Mass Effect series have been wonderful.
I don't think I've ever been as attached to the characters in a game as in Mass Effect. I genuinely care about the characters, even thought they just are pixels on the screen. It's awesome, but at the same time damn depressing when they pull off endings like the existing ones.

That's what makes the ending so brutal. I love the series and the characters in it so much that this felt like a gut punch.

I don't understand why people who care about characters get so much hate... Well I can understand Twilight getting hate; I just don't understand something good getting hate.
I don't understand why people who care about characters get so much hate... Well I can understand Twilight getting hate; I just don't understand something good getting hate.
It's really relative on how YOU can understand why a character can be cared about.
I mean, a person might like a "My little pony" character, and most people can't understand or don't like the series at all, so they're pretty much ignored. (The characters)
This is the Mass Effect thread, lots of people here played the entire series and spent around 100 hours learning about those characters, so we care about them. For anybody else, they wouldn't understand.
I think the trick is that we aren't too loud about it. We don't go around yelling "I LOVE GARRUS VAKARIAN" in every threads of the forums, like some MLP fans or like what Twilight fan does in broad daylight.

Yup, you know the flashbacks you get. Man they were fucking killing me, shed some very manly tears.
Doesn't matter how many times I replay Mass Effect I always find something I haven't seen before. Finally did the Conrad stuff in ME1 and ended up shooting him in the foot in ME2. Can't believe I missed that scene after all this time.

I hate to say it, but that's yet another thing I don't like about ME3. You don't really have to find anything. Everything is pretty much laid out right in front of you.
If there is one thing I love about Conrad, it's that he isn't Twilight freaky about his obsession with Shepard.
Speaking of Conrad, does anyone know what he does in ME3 if you were a dick to him in the previous games?
Refitted Normandy SR2? More like snake jungle if you ask me.
My Shepard's gonna trip one day with all of these wires out and about
Refitted Normandy SR2? More like snake jungle if you ask me.

And that space hamster's going to shock himself and blow up the entire ship one day.

I didn't actually know the Volus banker, Barla Von is in Mass Effect 1.

I really love the part right before the end where you can talk to all your squadmates a bit and the stuff they say.
Also, you guys can add PatrickLB if you want to MP on Origin, I play MP a shitload.
Currently playing the Krogan Sentinel and good lord, fully upgraded tech armor for damage reduction and fully upgraded rage for damage reduction, I just run around with 70% damage reduction at almost all time since Rage is really easy to kick in and just spam the heavy melee, I decimate waves.
My biggest problem is how the melee "lock on" sometimes just doesn't do jack fucking shit, I heavy melee someone and then my Krogan just fucking rushes at the guy, push him out of the way doing absolutely no damage then just melee the air.
Or then guys you fight just have small bouts of invincibility, I heavy melee'd a phantom 5 times before it started taking damage and that shit happens to me on alot of guys.

I don't get the press going all "well the fans are just acting entitled, bleh."
You're damn right I'm fucking entitled. I'vespent over €300 on the Mass Effect series, I've spent five years visiting this world, getting to know it's characters and it's lore. Then Bioware/EA go and shit all over it in the last 5 minutes and the press are too fucking smug and up their own asses to actually look at why the fans are upset. All we get is "well the hero is supposed to die at the end of an epic saga"* or "the fans are just whiney because they didn't get a happy waifu ending."**
*There is no sense in this arguement, the entire trilogy has been about doing the impossible and changing the galaxy, hell the first 2 games both end in successful suicide missions.
**I just busted my hump saving EVERYONE I could and even spared people I really wanted to kill, damn right I want my fucking happy ending. I would have settled for bitter sweet ending.
Refitted Normandy SR2? More like snake jungle if you ask me.

Well you do know it was in the middle of being refitted when the Reapers hit Earth, hence why there are boxes scattered about and wires all over the floor. They weren't finished.

Glad to see more support.
And that space hamster's going to shock himself and blow up the entire ship one day.
Can you actually find the space hamster in ME3? I ran all over the Normandy and all I found was my model ship collection.
Not to mention they never returned my ship collection after playing with them.
Found more snakes in the captain's quarters, dangling on top of my bed.

This is the only media where I've nearly cried over it.
I'm fuckin' serious.
The last conversation you have with Garrus in London, really tore me apart.

Yeah, that was also damn sad.

It's in Jack's former dark pit of emotion.

I was joking about the wire thing but yea they really never had the time to really clean things up. I just miss my sleek interior from ME2
One of my friends, fan of the Mass Effect series since the first game, just finished it.
He's really depressed. Poor guy.

Aren't we ALL fans of the series since the first one?
