Bring biotics for biotic explosions everywhere. By that time I was killing brutes and banshees on Insanity in <10 seconds.

I just lured all the Banshees into the laser, Warp'd the Brutes and hid in that corner shop thing until my squad lured them away, then jumped back in. Rinse and repeat.
Even so it took me like five tries just to get a strategy down.
I did it in one go due to Black Widow and cloak

proud to say i did it my first go on insane 8)

Its almost impossible without biotics. Especially as an Engineer.
Drone did a lot of damage on the regulars though, gave me a chance to hit the Banshees hard.
I stayed off from this thread for months, I didn't watch any trailers, I unsubbed from multiple youtube channels, later on I stayed off the Internet and dodged all the picture media and spoilers.
I loved mass effect, so much, the 3rd one had amazing, fucking incredible moments, made you feel a lot of emotions, amazing squad dialogue and jokes, I liked all of it more than any game I think I've ever played.. but...
[sp]It all fell to pieces for me after seeing Tali's picture, she was exactly how I hoped her NOT TO LOOK LIKE, even the way you saw her sucked ass, (lazy much BioWare?), should have just kept the mask on....
And the ending... I just finished the game 2h ago, but Mass Effect, as a series barely means anything to me anymore since we got no closure at all to the things we did. It just BLEW ASS, but I think you guys have talked a lot about it already, heh.[/sp]

I'm surprised at the amount of people who play soldier. It just seems so boring when you have biotics with explosions, and all the different tech abilities.

Infiltrator is really fun with that whole slowmo zoom in.
I play Vanguard because of the sweet biotic charge. Although it gets me killed usually because I think I'm like invincible.

It actually was a really awesome combo, with the Paladin being useful out of cover with a scope at long ranges, the Vindicator useful in cover, since it has too much recoil out of it, but does a ton of damage in cover, and the Hornet being useful at close range due to it's high rate of fire. Combined with constant biotic combos, going through Insanity was a blast.
The Paladin is so good once I got it. It one-hit kill anything and tore through armor like swiss cheese.

First time I ever played Mass Effect I came from Halo so I went with soldier. After that I found out about the differences between the classes, when I play now its usually Vanguard simply for that ridiculous charge.
