So Casey has completely reversed this...
I was more amused by this:
When they talked about choices mattering in the series, they were really talking about how many War Assets you'll get in ME3... ... Or were you guys suspecting it'd be more then that?
Thats what I was expecting. I didn't have a big problem with it, it makes sense getting someone on your side would let them help you in the game. What i was bothered by was not getting people into my squad and instead just getting a number saying they were an asset. I can deal with this even its not bad I still enjoyed ME3, but the ending(s) [sp]no matter what you did are always the same besides some minor changes[/sp]. Thats not how it should be if you have that many war assets and that much support, or that little support and few war assets.
Lol Edi has a Miranda suit
Lol Edi has a Miranda suit
Both of them.
Oh, thanks a lot, that was for me. [sp]So I see EDI can replace Miranda with her own catsuit.[/sp] ninja
Wow. One thing they certainly didn't fuck up is the soundtrack.
Complete with camel toe:
Hahahahah

Jesus... I remember me laughing when they showed Miranda for the first time and her "perfect" female look. But with EDI I think they went maybe too far. That camel toe... Also I really should stop being surprised by Bioware's recycling of models.
The OST's are one of the best around.
I still think Quake 2's the coolest one though
Huh. Slightly more evidence for the Indoctrination theory. I don't remember those trees being there when I was sprinting down.
I don't remember those trees being there when I was sprinting down.
it's sort of annoying how most of the evidence for the theory is probably just Bioware being incredibly lazy
Huh. Slightly more evidence for the Indoctrination theory. I don't remember those trees being there when I was sprinting down.
You aren't supposed to turn around
it's sort of annoying how most of the evidence for the theory is probably just Bioware being incredibly lazy
Indeed. Though I have to admit, if turns out this was Bioware's intention all along to give us subtle little clues and have us figure it out...I'll be impressed. Not impressed enough to ever buy one of their products again, but impressed nonetheless.
Wow, Hudson really missed the point of the fantalk there.
If you asked me, he seemed to be deliberately avoiding the questions people wanted answered and twisted other statements to make things seem more positive. Because there's a difference between [sp]leaving things vague and open and completely skipping out on any sort of explanation or reason over what you just witnessed.[/sp] It seems like this whole ending thing now seems to be for the purpose of [sp]trying to leave some sort of open...ness for the fanbase to constantly theorize on for ages to come (Like Blade Runner or Inception) but in the ends it seems like they did completely wrong, since the whole open thing came right out of the blue and only left people angry and confused.[/sp]
I don't know, the way they avoid or ignore things and don't say "yes" or "no" leads me to believe they're planning something. Bethesda did the same shit with Were-Wolves in Skyrim, to be fair. That's not Bioware and also a minor feature, but my point is. Developers seem to have a fetish for keeping things a secret.

If these crazy theories are correct, Bioware cut out the ending and is withholding it at the expense of the company's reputation. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?
Because they had a game to release and a limited time to do it? My only guess.
Which, of course, is an unacceptable reason. If the game isn't finished, it doesn't get released. You don't withhold what you advertised and what your customers paid for. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline]
I don't know the exact reason, obviously, but I'm guessing money is involved.
They're losing money and fans by the day.

[editline]14th March 2012[/editline] They're losing money and fans by the day.
if your publisher wants it out, they want it out now. I doubt Bioware has any real push or shove. The game was already delayed once or twice.
I am quite curious as to what function having such a thing plays in a robots existence.
Well, considering how the original robot was supposed to infiltrate and interact with organics a lot, it would probably help to, you know, being as close to an actual human as possible. Implications unpleasant
They're losing money and fans by the day.
Purchases don't necessarily have anything to do with fans. If you've already got their money, what does it matter if they're satisfied? Besides, even if they are bleeding money somehow, it's all just a well-played gamble. At this point all they need to do is release the proper endings as DLC, and they've regained everything they've lost, plus the original purchases and some support for actually "fixing" things. One thing EA isn't going to lose is money. And fans aren't what make money - buyers are.
Well, considering how the original robot was supposed to infiltrate and interact with organics a lot, it would probably help to, you know, being as close to an actual human as possible. Implications unpleasant
But EDI's naked body has none, just a line running down it.
But EDI's naked body has none, just a line running down it.
...space magic?
I am quite curious as to what function having such a thing plays in a robots existence.
I'm willing to bet people would pay tons of money for a sex robot.
