What if you chose Cortez or Kaidan? Does he go into great deal about the horrible dialogue exchange between them?
I'm gonna start a new character in Mass Effect 1. I just feel like playing the whole trilogy all over again.
[sp]I don't understand. My Shepard had hot, steamy lesbian sex with Samantha Traynor in a shower. Did the stargazing old fuck include THAT in* his story? What kind of grandfather is he?[/sp]
Here's a better question, HOW DID HE FIND OUT?
Edit: did he have cameras?
I think its really ridiculous how fast you guys are to discredit Bioware, do you really not believe Bioware put any work into the ending? The company that has given many of us hours of genuine top-notch story-telling? I believe they had a plan for the ending because Bioware has never done me wrong, I believe in them (never played Dragon Age so i don't care about DA2's failure)
Plan or not, they're handling this very badly. IF they're withholding the ending for some reason...it's backfired.
He did. Wouldn't make sense to tell your kid the story out of order.
Unless he's future george lucas
Unless he's future george lucas
probably, he rewrote the endings so you didn't know

Has it? Mass Effect has garnered attention for its ending, a lot of attention at that.
Bad Effect.
Not too bad of a theory though, Not sure even Harbringer died.

The person disagreed with me must be a fast reader who went into the thread. :p Liar.
I could swear your post said just "bad effect" earlier. Of course I took it out of any possible context, assumed it was a bad pun and disagreed, because ME is good :v:
Has it? Mass Effect has garnered attention for its ending, a lot of attention at that.
And it's overwhelmingly negative attention. Thousands and thousands of people have traded in their copies and people everywhere are swearing Bioware off for good (myself included). I don't think that's what they wanted.

Check for updates on Origin. Mine just updated with a 24mb or so patch.

Awesome grandfather, at least.
Does anyone else have these clusters on the map they can't access? I can see the reaper hovering over them but the red circle isn't there and when I click on them nothing happens.
[sp]"You know kid, I heard she had a really bad camel toe problem." "Isnt that the thing that EDI has?" "Thats right!" "What is it?" "...I'll tell you when you're older."[/sp]

I have to agree with this, who the hell would put a terrible ending to a franchise to gain positive attention? It just doesn't make sense.

They never could have predicted their childish fans
Does anyone else have these clusters on the map they can't access? I can see the reaper hovering over them but the red circle isn't there and when I click on them nothing happens.
I think that just signifies known clusters under Reaper control. A lot of the clusters from the first two games don't have anything going on in them in ME3, so there's no point in making them accessible, I guess.
Has it? Mass Effect has garnered attention for its ending, a lot of attention at that.
You know what else garnered a lot of this type of attention recently? Duke Nukem Forever.

And you just tossed your argument clear out the window. Go read this for a very well explained discussion as to why the fans are not just whiny bitchers.
I love how An End Once and For All is the purified version of Leaving Earth, without the Reaper bloops in between. The OST really brings up emotions with little things like that.
the endings bring closure but not without lots of plotholes that really destroy your hours of immersion
and then brings not only closure and plotholes and don't forget anger, but most of all sympathy for shepard because of his pointless death that could have been avoided by better writing.

Oh please, I know exactly what everyone is talking about, the difference between you and me is that I don't call it quits because the ending sucks, like a child, I enjoyed the game immensely, and the ending not being so good doesn't change that. I also put a lot of faith into the indoctrination theory so that helps me find more solace.
They never could have predicted their childish fans
Oh right, you know, like we are so childish that everyone of us can spot glaring mistakes in the ending.
[sp]Squadmates teleporting, space magic, A literal Deus Ex Machina, and an ending that kills off every species in the universe.[/sp]
Plus the fact that they lied several times about the end product. What is the mature way? Accept what is thrown at us blindly and cherish it? Nobody got anywhere by just "Accepting" whatever happens to them. If you have any single love for the Mass Effect franchise, you have to accept that the endings are completely worthless and lazy. They don't even make sense in the lore!

And this is the one funny ass thing, suddenly Bioware is bad writers because of the ending, ignore the great writing for 20 hours, the ending is all that matters right? :downs:
Well, you haven't seen any Colonels because that rank doesn't exist in the Alliance Military.

I thought that it was common knowledge that they used Navy officer ranks

That's where the theory comes in, and the developers sure aren't denying it, I believe it, and I believe in Bioware, unlike the children who simply go "oh ending sux therefore bioware all sux forever!", I believe they are capable of such a twist, so we shall see.

So basically, you're saying that the indoctrination theory makes Bioware geniuses? Ah, right. We have dismissed that claim.

Yeah, actually. They managed to make the ending so bad it ruined the game itself.
