I'm really buying into that whole [sp]hallucination/indoctrination[/sp] ending. It works, good amount of evidence ([sp]go back and watch the child scenes. I think he died in the lasering of the house right before shepherd finds him in the vent. [/sp]), and honestly it'd give me faith in the writers again
Pre-ordered back in February, they still haven't shipped my order. People have been trying to spoil it all week so I'm gonna ask one question. I want a yes or no answer, not a "most likely" or "almost always." [sp]Does Shepard die in every single ending?[/sp] I don't want any other details, just that one part. I don't want to know how or why. I'm going to ask another straightforward yes or no question: [sp]Is Shepard's death basically the entire ending or is it still exciting and cinematic besides that one point?[/sp] Again no specific details, just a yes or no.
Reply Hazy, Ask Again Later
[sp]Does Shepard die in every single ending?[/sp]
No.
Just finished. The ending was... interesting. Now I go back to Mass Effect 1, start a new character and play allll the way through the games.

Holy fuck, that is the best zing I've ever seen. Also, I thought you guys would find this amusing, excuse me in advance if it's already been posted.
Asari are so damn scaly
This is just silly and seems like wishful thinking Especially that whole "Free!" thing. http://social.bioware.com/forum/Mass-Effect-3/Mass-Effect-3-Story-and-Campaign-Discussion-Spoilers-Allowed/I-believe-in-quotThe-Truthquot-DLC-actual-ending-Do-you-9934885-1.html
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/me3_endings1.png[/img_thumb] can't wait for the dlc to actually cost money and cause more outrage

I laughed way harder than I should have.
If they change the ending, they should get rid of Galactic Readiness, and make the EMS requirement for the best ending 3000.
If they change the ending, they should get rid of Galactic Readiness, and make the EMS requirement for the best ending 3000.
If they removed Galactic Readiness we should need 7000 for the best ending. Pretty sure you can get that without too much trouble. I ended up with 6700 and I missed quite some things [sp](Miranda died, Eve died, etc).[/sp]
[sp]I just replayed the final couple missions with Liara and Javik, but for the final run to the beam, I changed my squad to Garrus and Ashley just to see what happens. Garrus and Ashley didn't walk out of the Normandy after all the shit happened, but Liara and Javik did. Did I just accidently kill the indoctrination theory. :'( [/sp]
If they change the ending, they should get rid of Galactic Readiness, and make the EMS requirement for the best ending 3000.
Getting rid of Readiness and making it 3000 would be dumb. I have over 3000 already and haven't even gone to the Quarians/Geth.
If they change the ending, they should get rid of Galactic Readiness, and make the EMS requirement for the best ending 3000.
ahahahahahah BEST ending. sigh, and it's only a easter egg bullshit that doesn't make any sense. If they change the ending, and if you want the bestest greatest "Shepard lives, LI gives him a blowjob, Garrus goes at the beach with him", it should cost a lot, without implying the EMS.
how I did every side quest, united the krogan and the turians, and made peace between the quarian and geth and my EMS is only 3200
Getting rid of Readiness would get rid of EMS since it wouldn't be multiplied by 50%.
how I did every side quest, united the krogan and the turians, and made peace between the quarian and geth and my EMS is only 3200
With EMS, yeah. But if you were to remove Galactic Readiness you wouldn't have to do 7400x0.5 = 3200 EMS. [editline]Fuck[/editline] Fuckin' ninja'd. Get bent, GetBent...
With EMS, yeah. But if you were to remove Galactic Readiness you wouldn't have to do 7400x0.5 = 3200 EMS.
yeah I didn't think about that
-snip, misread-
Also, I would love to see someone that has like, 7000 borderline with 100% galactic readyness, and during the last mission it drops to 99% and he gets the neutral endings.
I definitely don't think so. Getting rid of it would invalidate the ending just as much as it is. You could just breeze through to see the best ending, which goes totally against the series. It robs your choices of value and importance (just like the ending).
yeah and so does forcing the player to play multiplayer in order to get the best ending
Also, I would love to see someone that has like, 7000 borderline with 100% galactic readyness, and during the last mission it drops to 99% and he gets the neutral endings.
It wouldn't matter, the highest value that makes a difference is 5000.
yeah and so does forcing the player to play multiplayer in order to get the best ending
Sorry, read 'Galactic readiness' as 'Military readiness'.
It wouldn't matter, the highest value that makes a difference is 5000.
I meant, if the value was 7000 and you were borderline. I very well know the value of all the endings, I've posted them several times :v:
Hey guys. Look at this, notice anything? [t]http://i.imgur.com/0VuLO.png[/t] It's from /vg/ though. So who knows if it's real.
hopeful hooray
ahahahahahah BEST ending. sigh, and it's only a easter egg bullshit that doesn't make any sense. Thanks for the indirect spoilers.
I knew that kid was up to no good
