I thought this was kind of obvious.
Hey man, I can dream. Or, I could.
*sighs*
Guess I'm going to have to come up with my own canon ending.

Or the likely DLC release of the actual ending will do that for you.
Confirmed: Bioware actually did make the mother of all fuck-ups with the ending...and it was intentional.
:(
That's like they're idiots. Complete ones at that. Or just fucking assholes. Because I can not justify this bullshit:
"Originally, with the catalyst, the star child at the end of the game, I had written that much more in the guise of a investigative style conversation, where there is something he tells you but then, you get to ask a bunch of questions and you get your questions answered. But then me and Casey talked and decided, lets keep the conversation "High level". Give you the details that you need to know, but don't get into the stuff that you don't need to know. Like "How long have they been reaping?" You don't need to know the answers to the mass effect universe. So we intentionally left those out"
This is just so rotten. Not that I'm upset with the vidogame endings, no, I'm fucking pissed off at how developers weren't even thinking about the ending. [sp]Pick one of the endings: go right - red one, go straight - green one, go left - blue one[/sp], that's what mods for a games with multiple endings do, skip the game, watch all the endings! And because of that we can't save during the [sp]spacewalk[/sp], to prevent us from watching the endings without playing the bullshit finale.
Hey man, I can dream. Or, I could.

All we can do now is either A accept it, B use headcanon, or C wait for some fancy magical DLC (that they will probably never make)
Hey man, I can dream. Or, I could.

I'll admit, I was hoping people were right. But it always felt like a massive stretch.
Man, you know you fucked up your ending when the fanbase wants to believe that it was all a hallucination.

I can't believe I'm forced to say this, but I'm pretending those endings never happened. Mass Effect 3 ended how I want it to, in my mind, not like this shit. We should have a decision on what the official endings should be, as a community, instead of having to concede to the actual hunk of rotting feces Bioware dumped on us.
I love that quote though that Gudman showed, somehow knowing all these answers about the Reapers and the Mass-Effect Universe wasn't important.

I'm more angry that they intentionally lied to us during the marketing run-up.
"All your questions will be answered."
I respect the hell out of Bioware for 99% of ME3 but man...

Indeed, there is too much EA in our Bioware.
im too sexy for my armor

According to the 'final hours of mass effect 3' they were going to have [sp]Harbringer kill your squad right before your eyes[/sp] I can not imagine the scale of the shitstorm if they actually included that.
Im still really broken up about [sp]everyone I cared about in mass effect dying a really horrible death because Casey Hudson wanted more advertising.[/sp]
im too sexy for my armor
HURRR SHEPARD
Dude you really love using my Shepard Face. :v:
So much for [sp]MASS EFFECT 2 IS THE DARK MIDDLE CHAPTER LOL THINK OF STAR WARS EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
Yeah, when they said that I thought 3 would tie everything together with epilogues out the ass and a happy celebration scene etc (if you so choose of course)
First they arguably ruin KOTOR series, then they ruined Dragon Age, now they ruin Mass Effect. And don't fucking say BU- BUT THEY CAN FIX IT! No, releasing a DLC that they'll want you to pay for is not fixing anything, not that they'll fix anything.[/sp]
Wow, I just realised when Liara is talking [sp]about her mother on the Citadel, and how she loved yellow and all that jazz, she was talking about Matriarch Benezia.[/sp]
there is too much EA in our Bioware.
Bioware is just EA's RPG branch now, like an 'EA Sports'.

That's what I'm pissed of at. Actually, I hate with passion all of this stuff. Lies, disrespect ("figure it our by yourself, fans, we know you're clever"), scrapping boss fight for being "video-gamey" (in a videogame, right, a gameplay element, why would we need it?), scrapping the answers with the argument "you don't need them". That's just... it's like they don't need fans anymore. And on top of that, the real ending is the plate [DON'T FORGET TO BUY OUR FUTURE DLCs!]
Wow, I just realised when Liara is talking [sp]about her mother on the Citadel, and how she loved yellow and all that jazz, she was talking about Matriarch Benezia.[/sp]
Yeah, had the same "Wait, she's talking about Benezia, ain't she?".

And thats how you properly play mass effect
scrapping boss fight for being "video-gamey"
How would an Illusive Man boss fight be good
How
So if they did come out an ending DLC, what would you guys do?
:v: I'd probably download it. Cause I gotta see what sort of shit they'd pull
If they don't release an ending DLC their future sales (and sales for planned ME3 DLC) are going to take a hit.
You can argue that people will just cave in and buy them but after this I don't think so.

Hahahahahaha yeah just read that. Wow. They toss out what could have been a decent ending that provides closure for the sake of a "high level" vague excuse of an ending to...cause speculation. So what if its riddled with plot holes? Or contradicts the whole series leading up to that point? Or makes 60+ hours of great gaming irrelevant? Why, that's just part of the mystery to think about!

bioware just want to watch the world burn

I'd buy the DLC cause I like Mass-Effect and hey, may as well see it to the end.
After that I'm fucking right off from Bioware (I don't even play Bioware games to begin with :v:)
How would an Illusive Man boss fight be good
How
Initially they planned him to be... like Saren-husk. You know, reaper-creature. With cannons. And all that. That could've been fun. Actually, I don't care. Anything could be better then what we have.
How would an Illusive Man boss fight be good

Would be something like this:

Yeah, that is what a "subsidiary" is.

His right hand.
Freud Freud.
Its now very clear that Bioware had the ground work for a good indoctrination and more style ending but due to EAs slave driving for a quick release date they rushed out what they thought would be provocative ending of utter vague-ism.
