Just completed the game about two minutes ago, I... [sp]Had the destroy ending, Joker, Tali, and Liara ended up on that planet (threesome anyone?) And it was hinted at the very end that Shepherd survived.[/sp] I honestly don't see what people's problem with the ending is, maybe the other versions of the end are absolute crap but I was more than happy with mine and it left me feeling satisfied that I'd spent my time with this series.
[sp]Everyone on Earth dies, the entire galaxy is cut off, every colony that isn't fully self-sufficient will starve, there was no closure, Shepard's choices were all the same resulting in almost all civilised life being wiped out rather than all of it. The starchild uses completely flawed logic and a stupid tautology to "prove" that it's right when it demonstratably isn't.[/sp]
There's practically nothing in the ending that makes sense and a lot of it breaks established lore.
[sp]Also, this "Sythetic life will always wipe out ALL life" crap. This is untrue even on the face of it. Not only has this NEVER HAPPENED (because there's still, you know, organic life still knocking around) but the very idea that it can happen in the first place is a logical fallacy. To say synthetics see organics as having no reason to live implies both that a) the people programming the AIs were stupid enough not to program an inherent value to life into the AIs but also, b) synthetics would go out of their way to remove their reason for being, thereby making THEM have the exact same problem as organics. And c) that under such insane troll logic the sythetics would feel the need to destroy EVERYTHING, regardless of whether it's alive or not. Do planets have a reason for being? I don't think so.[/sp]
That has more plotholes than the normal ending(s)
[sp]Shepard and Morinth create an orgasm so powerful it affects the future, and everyone has massive orgasms.[/sp]
You're telling me that the ending where Shepard has an orgasm via Morinth which disables all reapers in the galaxy has plotholes in it? SERIOUSLY?!?!
No that part makes perfect sense.
Also first 88 war assets with doubled values, the ones with 0 I left at 0
http://www.pastebin.ca/2128509
This hasn't been tested, it won't change your game if you already have the asset in a saved game. You have to change your save manually. When I finish more Ill add them and upload the Coalesced.
wait is that picture that describes getting stranded on the jungle planet and stuff actually the ending
because if so, christ that was bad. please don't tell me it is the ending
also i'm not even going to finish this game because i can't let both the [sp]quarians and the geth[/sp] survive, i love [sp]legion[/sp] equally as much as [sp]tali[/sp]. i suppose i would let the [sp]geth[/sp] survive over the [sp]quarians[/sp] because the [sp]quarians[/sp] are self righteous pricks but come on... I mean I made, morally, the correct choice in me2 and still i don't get to see a good ending to this damn conflict
So using superdinoman's coalesced reset all my character stats to level 1, and now the save I had backed up doesn't let me move in game. Solutions?
I have full control of my mouse movement, but WASD doesn't do shit.
Remapping movement keys didn't do shit.
using his .ini worked fine for me
the plot of this game is so flawed anyway because there is no way in hell the reapers wouldn't know that the [sp]crucible was being built,[/sp] and that would probably be the focus of their efforts of attack initially. i mean, you can't just pop out a [sp]crucible every few days anyway, and plus once the first one was destroyed the races probably would lose hope and not try to build another one.[/sp] it's ridiculous to begin with
[sp]Shepard and Morinth create an orgasm so powerful it affects the future, and everyone has massive orgasms.[/sp]
How about you actually play the game before you start ranting about something you know nothing about.
How about you actually play the game before you start ranting about something you know nothing about.
you're right, i actually haven't played the game yet, i've been pulling all of these plot details out of my ass
sorry

How is that even possible? Didn't touch the leveling stuff, didn't change any of the binds, and all I did was add binds to nonmapped keys. If anything like that did happen I'd recommend save editing it back to what you had, unless its MP. If its MP stats then I can't help you there those reset on me all the time. I forgot to mention that actually, I don't recommend using mods if you want to play MP, it breaks the game.
using his .ini worked fine for me
Yeah, his INI defaulted my shepard to regular face, reset me level to level 1, and now the only save it didn't do that to I cant fucking move.
How did this happen to me and not others?

As for how it only happened to you I have no clue.

I know, I have no clue how your Coalesced did any of this, mine was the exact same thing, besides the key bindings, which is why I installed yours. No clue what happened but I will figure it out.

Yup, reset binding to default, still persists.
I'm curious on how Bioware is going to make a new Mass Effect game after this

I'm curious as to how they are going to unfuck themselves and unfuck ME3

still wondering why this post is dumb
I am going to attempt changing my position in the world, perhaps I am caught in the geo.
Dumb ratings for trying to fix my broken save? Err?
still wondering why this post is dumb
I don't know about how the Crucible is remained a secret, but the game is stated to take over the span of months or at-least weeks (Hackett I am pretty sure mentions weeks, I think Tali mentions months at a later scene).
I also don't understand what you get with "destroyed" there was never another crucible. The plans weren't finished till now, and any race that tried was from the last cycle, thus 50,000 years ago
I am going to attempt changing my position in the world, perhaps I am caught in the geo.
Wait a second I think I know part of the issue. Did you by any chance press Numpadzero?
The ghost command is completely broken.
still wondering why this post is dumb
It is dumb because you are not far enough into the game to know what you are talking about, and you are ranting is completely invalid.

Negative.

I don't think Bioware is going to recover for this one. Not completely, anyway. They've pissed off way too many people over the last week and a half, and the infuriating "Final Hours of ME3" is just bringing all the fury back.
Sad thing is this. I feel no sympathy for Bioware as a company, but I do feel sympathy for the genuine, hardworking people that clearly put a lot of heart into the bulk of ME3. It's a damned shame that it's all come down to this.

you don't seem to understand what i mean
what i'm saying is, there is no way in hell that the crucible would remain a secret. the reapers are the most intelligent race in the galaxy, the geth themselves say that the thoughts of a reaper are so immense and complex that they are themselves unthinkable to the combined minds of the geth servers. yet, somehow, in spite of the constant communications to and from the crucible about its construction, and somehow in spite of all of the ships coming and going to and from the crucible to build it and to send people to build it, and somehow in spite of all of the shit they are doing to bring it into existence as the "ultimate reaper fighting weapon," the reapers with their supreme intelligence still do not find out about its creation. that in itself is ridiculous

Well damn. I would offer to look into the issue but I've never had it after all the edits Ive done.
still wondering why this post is dumb
So say you're a reaper and you know them filthy organics are making the crucible. What do? You don't know where they're building it [sp]No worries an indoctrinated man of power will tell you[/sp], cool, lets now [sp]seize the last thing them dirt organics need; the catalyst! Sweet now they can't finish this[/sp].... oh wait THEY DID DO THAT. They literally [sp]focus all their efforts on stopping it being finished or did you miss the whole ending fight?!?[/sp]
Plot holes:
[sp]-Where do your squadmates go when the reaper beam hits
- How does Anderson go behind you into the beam and beat you to the control panel
- Why is Joker mass jumping away from Earth?
- Why doesn't Shepard question any of what the child says
- How does Shepard collapse, almost dead, then wake up fine after the elevator
- How do your squadmates get from Earth, post reaper beam, to on the normandy
- How does Joker crash land the normandy vertically with no engines?
- How does the crucible distinguish between reapers and normal life?
- How does Shepard survive if she/ he is partly synthetic?
- Why does Shepard wake up in concrete rubble if he / she was on the citadel?
- If Shepard was on the citadel, how did he / she survive it blowing up and the subsequent free fall to earth?
- How is Shepard able to breath / not decompress on top of the citadel?
- Where does TIM come from all of a sudden?
- Why can't Shepard use medigel?[/sp]
And that's just for starters.
Indoctrination theory.

no what i'm saying is they would've found out sooner than that. hell, they probably would have known about it back when the protheans were devising that. you can't put so much resources into devising something like that and then later building it and not expect a being of supreme intelligence to find out about it. if the protheans were really as smart as they claim to be, they would have found out about the crucible during the last cycle and destroyed any evidence of it. they also wouldn't have let any protheans survive in stasis, but somehow that managed to happen too.

I'd say this is because no organic race has ever A) completed it or B) completed it and used it successfully. If its never worked before, why would the reapers care?
Hey harbinger, the organics are gunna try that crucible thing again.
heh, silly organics...
