[sp]Thane was already dying of kepral syndrome. That, along with being stabbed, is what caused him to die. Medigel can't solve everything.[/sp]
[sp]Then why would how would using medigel save Shepards life.. look at the blood coming out of his mouth and nose. Lots of internal bleeding probably.[/sp]

Because he/she blood could carry the oxygen needed

and even though it's completely illogical. We accept it because Bioware says it.
It's sci-fi. Not every little detail needs to be explained. As in [sp]how does Shepard breathe on top of the Citadel, etc.[/sp]

Citadel has [sp]fields which keeps the oxygen in. If I had to take a wild guess the fields where mass effect fields.[/sp]

Man, Wrex makes Grunt look like a puppy. I missed having him as a squad member.
Is buying a spectre pack worth saving for in multiplayer

[sp]Shepard doesn't have a genetic disease slowly suffocating him. He's physically fine, aside from the actual injuries, which medigel is designed to treat.[/sp]

Fixed my problem.
Shit, I forgot how to fix the sound cutting off in Mass Effect 1. Can anyone help?
I just had a thought, [sp]in the mass effect 2 DLC arrival, shepard destroys a mass relay and the explosion from it wipes out an entire solar system. So how come at the end of ME3 when the relays explode none of the systems get destroyed?[/sp]
Not sure if late but this is pretty much it
Spoilers maybe

[sp] Arrival was an unchannelled explosion. [/sp]
Grah. The Normandy in ME1 feels so wrong without the background music.
Oh hey, I finally found out that they do use the poker table in the lounge.
Once. And you have to have Kaidan. It's right after the Quarian/Geth conflict.

Funny how five minutes can ruin five years.
I was avoiding this thread until I beat the game myself, but really, what's the point?

In ME1, Shepard shoots out the elevator window to climb to the top of the citadel tower. The outside area is in a vacuum. So that doesn't make sense.
So what exactly the fuck is going on here? ME1 (and to a slightly lesser degree) ME 2 were very solid games, I'm having trouble understanding what the uproar is about.
Anybody wanna explain the bioware situation and plot(holes) in the most shorthand way possible? If it's not too much trouble. I'm not going to touch EA Origin with a yardstick so it's probably gonna be a while before I play ME3.

Of course it does, not the entire Citadel has an atmosphere. I'm not saying the last scene makes sense, because it doesn't, but [sp]presumably, with the catalyst being sapient (and a fucking AI at that), life support could be redirected or established in a certain area, especially if it's maintained by kinetic barriers and ME fields[/sp].
Also, no atmosphere for the elevators means they go significantly faster, without air friction. That's a no brainer.
What really annoys me is, in Mass Effect 1, we learn the Prothean's disabled the Keeper signal which would have opened the Citadel and returned the Reapers. This is why Sovereign had to indoctrinate Saren, then later assaulted the Citadel.
We also learn that they would have been able to shut off the relay network from the Citadel, effectively trapping everyone.
What I don't get is, why did the Reapers never employ this in Mass Effect 3? Why did they not lock down the Relays, activating them only when they attacked?

The game itself is good as hell, one of the best games I've ever played. The problem according to many who complains is the vague and open ending.

The ending is shit. Complete, and utter shit.
[sp]Bioware basically took any value out of the end "choices", the jokes about only being able to choose the color of the explosion aren't exaggerated. The ending is a huge cop out that fast tracks the plot and chooses some absurd leaps of logic and plot tools, like having a fucking Star Child be the leader of the Reapers, and removing most control of what Shepard says.[/sp]
[editline]15th March 2012[/editline]
Besides that, ME3 is damn near perfect. Of course, there are always potential improvements to be made, but it's pretty incredible as a whole. The endings are just abysmal, though. Terrible way to end a trilogy.

I remember running into them down there. Sadly you couldn't join them. The Normandy needs those Star Trek: The Next Generation poker games.

Presumably, that's what they tried [sp]when they hijacked the Citadel at the end, and brought it to Earth...also, keep in mind that we were prepared. Entire fleets guarding the Relays and such. The Reaper advance wasn't them plowing the galaxy over, they were stalled, which is incredible. It was an actual war, not a massacre. Very lopsided though it may be.[/sp]

They're prepared this time, if a Reaper even gets through they can close the Citadel and the Reapers wouldn't be able to do jack shit about it.
I just noticed something, during Allers interview about the Quarians/Geth. She says she has a question from a Batarian on Omega. There's one problem with that though, Cerberus controls Omega and I doubt they'd leave a Batarian alive.
...So is mass effect 3 worth a second playthrough?
...So is mass effect 3 worth a second playthrough?
Compared to most games it is. Its even more worth it if you unlock the locked content on the disc, careful though the developers say this is as bad as piracy... :v:
