So what did we decide on the Shepard indoctrination theory?
I don't really want to carouse 455 pages of ME3 general thread to find out.
Nice theory, but irrelevant to reality, in which Hudson and Walters got an idea to shit on their promises and make the ending bullshit on purpose, to make fanbase speculate on it endlessly. And they succeded at that, can't argue with that. But I'm fairly sure this descision will backfire.

So little faith in Bioware's writing teams.

You do know that they themselves said that they made the ending shit on porpouse, right?
It in the "Final Hours" (or how it's called) thing
With the upcoming N7 challange, you know what would get Bioware's attention? If everybody stopped playing MP in protest.
Some statistics from the multiplayer:

Man this so is awesome. Especially 1.30 and onward.
Mass Effect soundtrack is fucking amazing.

I'd say too much faith in them from my side. Chek it out yourself. Images got deleted, but quotes are still there intact: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/9999272
Has there been any word on included text chat into MP? That key binding was in the demo, we all saw it!

It's really worth buying the OST-disk. I have it and it's the best shit ever.

On Deciding the End of the Game
The illusive man boss fight had been scrapped... but there was still much debate. 'One night walters scribbled down some thought on various ways the game could end with the line "Lots of speculation for Everyone!" at the bottom of the page.'
Fuck you Bioware.
This is the last game I buy from you.

Just one more lie to add to the list, IMO. The one that the tacked on multiplayer would not affect single player development.
It seems plainly obvious that they ran out of time or resources to flesh out the finale.

Which only helps the theory that they'll be coming back to the ending when they GET time and resources
oh nevermind, was the wrong scene

I was about to argue against that, but then I remembered that almost all of the side missions were either the same fetch quest copied about 30 times or shoot outs on multiplayer maps.
Extremely disappointed in the ending however I wanted to know two things:
1. [sp] How does the Collector Base actually affect Mass Effect 3?[/sp]
2. [sp] How did Cerberus obtain the Human Reaper if I blew up the collector base? Makes no sense[/sp]
Battlestar Galactica did it(minus the boneitis)
Except she was actually organic so that's a bit different

best mission IMO

It doesn't. TIM brings it up once in conversation on Mars and that's it.
It's funny how Shepard always does the 'urban' handshake with Anderson and Jacob but normal handshake with Hackett. Maybe they're closer or ... something else.

[sp]It does, you get a reaper head asset. Does Cerberus still have reaper tech if you destroyed it though?[/sp]

Wait... what.. are you sure? That's pretty stupid then..

To be honest, I think that Shepard and Anderson are pretty close.

Somehow, Cerberus [sp]salvages the 'heart' powering the Reaper and uses it to fuel the station.[/sp] You acquire it as a war asset at the end.

It seems like it doesn't. Apparently they get that shit off it regardless of what you did.

[sp]Cerberus still get the Reaper somehow, but I don't think I got the head asset when I destroyed the base[/sp]

[sp]By effortlessly going through the relay that only one other ship had done successfully in 50 thousand years.[/sp]
*everything*
Vedicardi you are literally the most retarded shit
Mass Effect 3's ending sucks because it doesn't make sense in the story or the themes of Mass Effect.
Mass Effect is about all the intricate ties with the species and how the player sculpts Shepard as a character. The end sees the prompt destruction of all interactions between species by way of the relays blowing the fuck up, pretty much ruining a lot of what you set out to do because places like Tuchanka are fucked now due to being cut off from everyone else etc. etc.
Shepard is confronted with a set of three choices by a massively retarded illogical and incompetent macguffin character and each choice basically fucks over everyone in some way. Shepard has his/her ass kicked by Harbinger, has no chance to ever fight him (the MAIN VILLAIN AMONG THE REAPERS) and is confronted by an annoying-ass ghostkid who just takes the piss out of the whole situation.
The logic behind this starchild thing's justification for the reapers is dumb as hell. Robots and organics will always fight, so commit regular genocide and wipe away technology?? It is even possible to make peace with the Quarians and Geth, but no one mentions that and it apparently didn't matter that the whole reason for the reapers being around is disproven almost instantaneously.
People bought Mass Effect 3 having been told they would receive an ending in line with the story and principles of the series, this was not the case. You can say you don't care, and I can say you're stupid and enabling a lot of what is wrong with the games industry for not caring. Bioware basically lied to their players about game content, with a haphazard and sub-par resolution to their story full of plot holes, uncertainty and a complete disregard to previously established player decision (which might I remind you is everything ME stands for). What your Shepard did, and who he/she was doesn't matter in this ending because it will invariably erase your efforts in one way or another. That isn't art, it isn't deep, it isn't good. There is so much left open with that resolution, so many gaps the players are left to fill in that it is not a proper conclusion. The ending to an epic story will wrap it up and tie up the loose ends. Mass Effect 3's ending didn't do that no matter what choice you ultimately made. The player shouldn't have to make up how everyone survived afterwards, that's the story's fucking job.
Somehow, Cerberus [sp]salvages the 'heart' powering the Reaper and uses it to fuel the station.[/sp] You acquire it as a war asset at the end.
When I got to the section with the human reaper, the whole damn thing was intact. It wouldn't have survived the explosion.

Thanks...we don't see enough replies about the multiplayer in this thread.
I'm finding it pretty solid.
Extremely disappointed in the ending however I wanted to know two things:

1. [sp] It does. If you decide to destroy the Collector base you will gain 10 less War Asset from the Human Reaper Heart as opposed to when you save the base.[/sp]
2. [sp] Indeed, it doesn't.[/sp]
I'm gonna go ahead and say, after much thought, that the [sp]synthesis[/sp] ending is the best ending. Tell me why it isn't.
Just finished ME3 was really awesome until the final parts though, chose [sp]Destroy and kinda sad seeing Mordin,Thane and Legion die but least saved most of the ME2 crew and when Shepard got hit by the laser Harbinger fired did my squad die? if so I'm gonna be pretty pissed if Garrus died.[/sp]

As far as I know everyone'll lose their free will.
