Does anyone else have little to no desire to do multiple runs of ME3 and feel weird about it?
I have 2 other Shepards to import and after finishing the game once I just don't care..
I was hoping for a League of One definitive conclusion, or at least more information on it (one sentence from a random salarian on the Citadel would have sufficed) and, of course, didn't get it. :v: Unless I missed something..

In regards to the ending I, like many people, am taking the Adam Savage approach. I reject their reality and substitute my own.

My first playthrough, did it in two sittings.
My second has been going for about a week now.
It's like this with all the ME games though, nothing out of the ordinary here. I just hope that I'll be able to do a serious second playthrough again, like with ME1 and 2.
Though if they come out with an ending DLC, I'm gonna play through it immediately.
Second try on that first reaper boss, I should of went the other way near the far west edge while I was in slow motion, I have to be quick.

It's the ending, it's difficult playing through again knowing what's going to happen.
Most gamers will visit sites like IGN, Destructoid, Kotaku, etc for their gaming news, and all three of those websites are vehemently opposed to the "Retake Mass Effect 3" movement. Forbes and GameFront might be mainstream, but they're not what people immediately think of when it comes to gaming.
It is a pretty nonsense movement. One that is unlikely to work. And I'm saying this as a guy who hated the game's ending and just wants to move on from it, not someone who thinks it was the best game ever.
Advanced to Quarian/Geth conflict.
[sp]Whats the difference between rewriting and destroying the heretics? Anyway to have both Quarians and Geth as assets? [/sp]

[sp]Destroying gives you 2 points towards peace but it harms the Geth war assets, rewriting gives you no points but does not harm geth war assets.[/sp]
Everything in the ending matters, their are no shortcuts.
as much as i hate the ending of this game, this scene has to be probably the most moving of any game i've ever played

the top comment, for once, puts it quite nicely:
"And that is where ME3 ends for me. It was all fine until Hackett spoke so I'm just gonna pretend he didn't and none of that other stuff happened.*"
Oh it's not that bad.
It doesn't get much worse.

You know that's all in mind anyway, thanks to Harbringer.

I don't think it's comparable to rape
[editline]17th March 2012[/editline]
maybe that's just me
They want to us think that the story is over after Shepard picked a choice from the kid. But Indoctrination is the key here, making believe he saved humanity, but there many trial ahead with more DLCs. He properly gets shot down back to Earth again and we can go back to other places like Vancouver to keep the fight going on. Which also means Anderson still alive somehow.
Is it just me, or does ME3 lack in a significant amount of polish?
Is it just me, or does ME3 lack in a significant amount of polish?
Look at the amount of time between the release of ME1 and ME2, now look at how long it took to release ME3 and after ME2. Shouldn't surprise anyone that there are a ridiculous amount of bugs.
I don't think it's comparable to rape
Not actual rape, no, but it certainly fits into the source of that image.
I just beat the game, and I really don't see why everyone hates the ending so much.
I chose [sp]to take control of the reapers, and sure I guess the thing after the credits was kind of dumb, but it's not like it means none of that "happened" or anything. I guess It would've been fine if it had ended before Hackett spoke, but I had a feeling it might end just right there, and it felt incomplete[/sp]. If anything, I don't see how it could ruin the entire game for someone, I mean yeah opinions and shit but IMO that game was fuckin great regardless how it may have ended.
an Interesting Idea I've hit upon.
What If instead of this stupid Star Child/Task Manager nonsense You know what would have been a FAR better choice for that position?, Vigil, you know the VI in the Prothean base in the first game? they could have said that they recovered him from Ios and put him in to manage Crucible since a lot of the tech is still unknown to them and then maybe we could actually get an explanation on how the fucker actually works from the horse's mouth and since he would be plugged directly into the Citadel he could access basic information about the Reapers (since the Citadel is a Reaper construct) through Keepers, Like exactly how many times the Reaping process has repeated itself, contrary to what the asshat writer said THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN INTERESTING TO KNOW in addition to who built the Reapers? why were they built to wipe out organics? what was the circumstances of this decision? what is the Citadel? why was it constructed? what are the Keepers? were they the civilization that built the mass relays? why were the mass relays left when all other advanced technology was destroyed? why does Crucible cause them to detonate? more backstory on the Protheans and Crucible. all of this would have been good for the ENDING OF A STORY
if You had Javik, they could have even repaired him so he is actually looks like he's supposed to since we now know what Protheans look like. if not he could remain a ball of light and visual artifacts or maybe look like a collector in robes or something since without Javik that's the closest example we would have had, this would only be a cosmetic change though.
[sp]Another thought, We needed an ending that the player decided, through the choices we made through the game along with a choice on how to handle Crucible. Instead of the Task manager yammering on and Shepard going along with it and then having a Deus Ex Push Button-Get Ending scenario. My Shepard would have Protested the idea of Slaughtering the Geth right after bringing an end to the war with them and blowing up the Mass Relays which would have Doomed everyone. My Shepard would have considered other options, and maybe suggested one that the Protheans didn't consider, After all Shepard is special, one that makes everyone happy, a truly good outcome, the ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH ending if you will, where against all odds everyone survives, the Reapers are destroyed, the Mass Relays don't explode, and every lives out their days enjoying peace that I worked to attain, that'd be something to retire on.[/sp]
Not actual rape, no, but it certainly fits into the source of that image.
in which lucas and spielberg rape indy yeah
Oh, I see where you're having trouble with this.
Too much, too much.

[sp]Because when I played Mass Effect my goal was never "Stop The Reapers" it was "Save This Galactic Civilization And All The Awesome Characters In It From The Reapers". Okay I get to kill/control the Reapers but it's a pretty fucking hollow victory if that galactic civilization is demolished and I get no closure whatsoever on those characters (most of whom are probably dead). Now that I know all my hard work trying to save the galaxy is pretty much for nothing it's really hard to get invested in the story again. And getting invested in the story is kind of what Mass Effect is all about.
Imagine if the ending to Harry Potter was like "pick one: A. Harry dies, all wizards turn into muggles, Hogwarts explodes. B. Harry becomes Voldemort, all wizards turn into muggles, Hogwarts explodes. C. Harry kills Hermione, all wizards turn into muggles, Hogwarts explodes."[/sp]
Oh and I just thought of a Joke ending for my idea.
Vigil looks and sounds like the Shepard VI :v:
"I'm Commander Shepard, and this is My favorite Doomsday weapon on the Citadel."
anywho a friend of mine wrote a review
I think it's pretty fair

B would be pretty sick
What the fuck.
Halfway during the game, my custom face disappeared. Reverted to the default shepard. Anyone else had this happen? Any way to fix it?

Broshep lives.
[sp]Sweet, I got Mordin not to die and still have Krogan AND Salarian support. Good thing Wrex died then I would have needed to kill him. Renegade FemShep approves[/sp]
Oh and here's my FemShep
