Depends, Turian Soldier I found works very well with gun to gun, as I find the Marksman ability to be very useful. (Of course he has prox mines and concussive shot)

They're both awesome. The new one is more of a jacket than a hoodie, but it's still the single best piece of attire I own that's gaming related.

Pretty much, though running through as a soldier (human or Turian) and just using grenades/marksman did okay on bronze and sometimes silver.

They can at least roll from cover to cover and their shields are mighty with a couple of points in Fitness. Plus, the Turian Sentinel feels like a true mix between tech and biotics instead of a biotic class capable of making biotic explosions, saddled with a power that slows power usage. Having Overload and Warp in the same class means an easier time of bosses and lesser enemies alike.
Turian Soldier (from what little I got to use of him before all my items mysteriously vanished) is capable of mowing down basic footsoldiers with Marksman and a weapon like the Phaeston and softening up the larger enemies with Proximity Mine upgraded to weaken targets by 20%. It's also capable of hitting enemies through walls if it hits cover with an enemy hiding directly behind it.
