Geth - Silver on Firebase Dagger is so easy with a level 20 Quarian Infiltrator. I constantly get top scoring even when I only use my shitty Scimitar I.
it's funny how [sp]in the final cutscene with the boy and the father staring up at space, the father is voiced by buzz aldrin[/sp]
[sp] Buzz Aldrin[/sp]
Damn the falcon is a bloody amazing gun. COupled with cryo ammo even bettter. As far as the reapers go though - I somehow doubt they would ever manage to kill off the entire galaxy in a cycle. It's just too big. Also I can see TIM ordering a bunch of his operatives to make secret bunkers the moment he heard about the reapers. And make them that not even knows where they'll be. Impossible to clean up everything.
We're talking a matter of weeks/couple months tops to wreak the damage they did to the galaxy. Vigil said that the last cycle took more than 100 years for the Reapers to complete.
oh my GOD FALCON GET
So I just finished the game. [sp]Everything from the fleets warping in to the beginning of the credits was the most amazing ending I've ever experienced in a video game. Talking down the Illusive Man gave me chills, it was so gripping. And that choice at the end, I was literally stood there for 20 minutes trying to decide. (I ended up choosing Synthesis). The little bit with the bad old man voice actor + bad kid voice actor at the end was offputting, but otherwise I was blown away. I literally cannot see why anyone would find this as a bad ending to the series, but I suppose everyone has their opinions. I eagerly await what kind of DLC they have planned.[/sp]
Was easier before Sabotage was nerfed. Now it only works on 1 enemy.
Still extremely effective if you target the right enemies.

And they all fucking sucked. And made little sense whatsoever. But, as you said, before [sp]the Catalyst, a god in a sci-fi game (sigh) [/sp], everything was pretty much amazing.
I wish I could get the accuracy bonus from scopes without actually having to look down the scopes. It's so much easier to use the crosshairs.
Wait, so apparently in order to get Kirrahe's 'hold the line' speech, I have to betray Wrex? Bummer.

That most of it ran counter to the themes of the series, used circular logic or was outright disproven in the same game? All I could think as I watched* was "What the hell is this shit?" *Also, Shepard just accepts all his shit, you don't get any imput or the chance to question im or tell him to fuck off.[/sp] Also the ending: (spoilers)
Wait, so apparently in order to get Kirrahe's 'hold the line' speech, I have to betray Wrex? Bummer.
No? I got it even though Wrex was cool with me. You just have to paragon/Renegade through.
I got Wrex and Hold the line...
Wait, in London? My understanding is that he replaces Wrex if you lost Krogan support? EDIT: Ahh, you two think I mean in Mass Effect 1, right?
Was this ever posted here? It's pretty cool.
So I decided I'd see what all the rage is surrounding ME3's ending. lolwut is this shit At least I can choose my fav color green I guess.

EDIT: Ahh, you two think I mean in Mass Effect 1, right?
Wait, there's another hold the line speech if you don't[sp] cure the Genophage?[/sp] But... I can't betray the krogans, they're bros.
I'm always really conflicted when I see someone who really enjoyed the ending (which is quite rare). On one hand, it's great that someone didn't end up depressed or disappointed like most of us, but on the other hand, I fucking despise the endings and don't want to see them supported.
Wait, there's another hold the line speech if you don't[sp] cure the Genophage?[/sp] But... I can't betray the krogans, they're bros.
You need to have Wrex leading the Krogan, since [sp]he works out if you fake the cure. Once you do, you kill him and lose Korgan support. In their place, apparently Kirrahe and the STG appear in London.[/sp] So essentially, between that and the incident with Kai Leng, the only way to get more Kirrahe is to make bad choices... =/

It's a shame all of these cool sequences require something that I would never be able to do. Kill Wrex. [editline]19th March 2012[/editline] Oh and by the way for those of you who never got to see the Ken/Gabby scene. Or they never actually say anything here's why:
To my great sadness and embarrassment, it looks like there is a bug here that got introduced just before ship. It looks like the test for "is it time for ambient dialog in engineering" accidentally got switched to "are you good friends with Ashley". How did this bug happen? I have no idea, and need to do some detective work. This doesn't just block Ken and Gabby banter, but I think this blocks some Tali and Garrus banter in engineering too. As it stands now to see that banter, I believe you'll need to get Ashley in your party and take her on missions and/or give Ashley lots of attention by speaking to her and giving her the gift in the hospital. If you have Kaidan in your game, obviously this can't be done, and that sucks. Though the fix is easy, the difficult part is getting the fix into a patch of some sort. Getting content fixes into patches is much harder than you'd think. It's a giant process. I'll try to get that fix through, but sadly, the odds of getting this type of fix into a patch is very low. It just kills me that so many of the people who care about Ken and Gabby (those of you reading this forum) didn't get to see that content. I tested the heck out of it too for weeks before ship. You just don't now how sorry I am.
I would have liked to have the ability to oppose the Crucible. But like Hackett said, there was really no way to win without using it in some way. Even then, I can't understand how some people are saying this ending ruins the entire series. I mean, those final chats with the crew, Wrex, Victus and all of the people over the comms made the finality of it all really sink in. Then those waves of enemies you had to fight around the missiles came up, (best fight in the game IMO, can't imagine it on Insanity,) and that final run to the Conduit with Harbinger shooting at you the whole way making me instantly remember the end run on Ilos. Seeing Shepard just utterly knackered almost made me shed a manly tear because I thought he was just gonna die then and there, but then when he got to Anderson and the Illusive Man just froze the two of them I was almost totally immersed. Like I said, talking down the Illusive Man was the highlight of the game for me, Martin Sheen really pulled it out for the ending there, not to mention doing a Saren which just blew the emotional cap off. I actually did shed a tear for Anderson, I was really hoping he'd make it (even with a bullet wound). And I'll admit, the Crucible's reasoning didn't make a ton of sense, but it didn't diminish the gravity of the following choice. As I said, it was about 20 minutes till I decided, I almost took Destroy but in the end I couldn't bear with killing the Geth and EDI. That bit after the credits was the only part I disliked, it seemed a bit stuck on,[/sp]but yeah my two cents.

All the choices are the fucking same and the reasoning behind them makes no sense, if that doesn't diminish the choice I don't know what will [/sp]

All the choices are the fucking same and the reasoning behind them makes no sense, if that doesn't diminish the choice I don't know what will [/sp]
[sp]One ending has you sacrifice your body to control the reapers, one has you destroy all synthetic life, and one has you merge synthetic and organic life into a new form. So they aren't really the same.[/sp] And even if I found that one specific part to be unbearably shitty (which I don't), it would just be a small part of the ending.
I really don't care if they change the ending or not anymore. Bioware made a crappy ending, and unless they really believe they made a mistake, I see no point in badgering them, because I doubt an ending just made to shut people out would be satisfactory.
