I actually did shed a tear for Anderson, I was really hoping he'd make it (even with a bullet wound). And I'll admit, the Crucible's reasoning didn't make a ton of sense, but it didn't diminish the gravity of the following choice. As I said, it was about 20 minutes till I decided, I almost took Destroy but in the end I couldn't bear with killing the Geth and EDI. That bit after the credits was the only part I disliked, it seemed a bit stuck on,[/sp]but yeah my two cents.
[sp]That's my real problem. The god damn Catalyst is a fucking hypocrite. His reasoning pissed me off, I had proof he was wrong, but I couldn't do anything. It was like I was forced down a path Shepard would never follow. Why would you listen to space hitler?
And Synthesis/Control are the worst ending, because that little shit and the Reapers survive the whole ordeal. By letting them live, you've betrayed everyone since the first game.[/sp]
Hello Atlas, Prime and Banshee kind
I can't understand how some people are saying this ending ruins the entire series.
- You don't get to see what happens to anything or anyone you've ever come into contact with over the course of three games.
- Everything you've worked hard for means nothing in the ending where all the endings are virtually the same thing with different color tints.
- It makes no fucking sense. The choices make no sense, your inability to oppose the ridiculous choices make no sense, it's awful.
- All three endings are awfully devised ways to subvert past player decisions.
- [sp]God children.[/sp]
- [sp]Relays are destroyed, instead of systems being eradicated, all the fleets will slowly wither and die due to starvation and/or infighting dude to the perilous situation.[/sp]
[sp]One ending has you sacrifice your body to control the reapers, one has you destroy all synthetic life, and one has you merge synthetic and organic life into a new form. So they aren't really the same.[/sp]
They are. [sp]Synthesis is a huge fucking joke, if you even know a little bit of biology you can completely yell bullshit. How can robots become partly organic? How can organics become synthetic? How is a wave of pure energy able to change every single bit of different DNA in the entire universe to fit with a human male with robotic implants? Synthesis is a huge fucking joke.
Control ending is even worse. You die, and you don't even know what you will do with the Reapers. Maybe the Reapers took control of Shepard? Maybe Shepard just died in order to pause the cycle. Maybe the cycle will begin again someday. You just don't know.
Destroy ending is the only viable ending. You die (The breath at the end is bullshit. If he's wounded and in the middle of ruins in London, he might as well be dead.) But the Reapers Die. Also, I freaking love how they added Geth and Edi in the mix, because that is bullshit too. Why the fuck would destroying the Reapers require both the Geth and EDI to die? What is the extent of damage to synthetic items or life? The only passable link is that both the Geth and EDI have some reaper in them, but not enough to require utter destruction by a magic wave of energy.
My problem with the ending is that it turns a sci-fi epic into a fantasy epic. A god has no place in a sci-fi universe, even more if you can't even ask him the real questions. The wave of energy are space magic, they do stuff that makes no sense at all. [/sp]

[sp]Synthesis felt like the right way to go, I mean why kill off the entirety of synthetic kind when peace is available? So I let the council die in my renegade playthrough on ME and in ME3 [sp] the replacement council is garbage[/sp]
And wheres my option to support Cerberus in ME3, that was a big let down...

Because if you join Cerberus you basically let the Reapers win?
Only got the Salarian Infiltrator and both Krogans to unlock for multiplayer now.
Because if you join Cerberus you basically let the Reapers win?
So?
Maybe I wanted that option
I didn't really notice it until that Angry Joe guy pointed it out, but [sp]Synthesis seems to make the implication that the way to peace is to remove diversity and make everyone the same.[/sp]

Yeah, and then Galaxy was the Reapers.

You're just a Kai Leng Fetishist.
Admit you can't resist his Reaper augs.

What, you don't like the multiplayer?
And if ME2 is any indication, any additional missions or squadmembers will be great, Javik was already a cool dude with great interactions.
So?
Maybe I wanted that option
If you want that option, don't play the games, because they're all about stopping the reapers. :v:
I only chose the 'green' ending, as I assumed it would be more like this.

If that Omega DLC rumor is true, I better get Aria as a temp/potentially permanent squadmate. [sp]Also Aria sex scene where she leaves those boots on[/sp] :quagmire:

Just because the game is about one thing doesn't mean they shouldn't give you an option to see what happens if you completely screw everyone over.

Yeah paying for content that is already on the disc sure is satisfying.
And no, i'm not too fond of MP. It's not that it's a badly crafted experience, it's a bland one that feels extremely out of place and unnecessary. Sort of like the Dead Space 2 multiplayer, those were actually quite enjoyable but you couldn't shake the feeling that they had no business being a part of the game.

You probably will, Aria has a squad icon.
I was playing ME3 the other day while watching The Matrix and realized Aria's VA is the chick that plays Trinity, really fucked me up because I kept hearing her lines in Purgatory and her lines in The Matrix at the same time and mixing them up.

I hear this McDonald's commercial on the radio all the time while I'm playing.
It has Brandon Keener in it, talking about a filet-o-fish finder.

And any new SP content they release won't be on the disc obviously.
having alot of trouble.
can someone tell me the name of the mesh of the N7 Hoodie?
